I came to Komeda on a journey for coffee jelly, but they didn't have coffee jelly, they had "coffee jelly" instead. It was a weekday, but it was quite crowded, about 80-90% full. I ordered the Coffee Jelly, Mini Sandwich, and Komeda Gratin. The Coffee Jelly had a good amount of volume, with a generous serving of soft serve ice cream making it a bit challenging to reach the coffee jelly at the bottom. The coffee jelly had a strong bitterness that paired well with the sweetness of the soft serve ice cream. Just when I had forgotten, I remembered there was a banana at the bottom. Overall, I was very satisfied with the Coffee Jelly. The Mini Sandwich was actually two pieces of a sandwich packed with ingredients such as egg, ham, and cucumber. The egg was overflowing, and despite being called "Karashi Mayo," it didn't have a strong mustard taste, which was good for me as I'm not a fan of mustard. I shared it with my companion, and even one piece had a good amount of filling. Of course, you can't visit Komeda without having their "Shiro Noir" as well.

Komeda Coffee is rapidly expanding in Hokkaido. There are rumors that they will open in Kitami by the end of this year. The one in Kushiro is located inside Aeon, so let's do a little research. First, you have to make a reservation at the ticket machine. When your turn comes, you will receive a notification on Line. It's convenient because you can wait while shopping. Since I already had lunch, I decided to go for coffee and takeout. I thought about getting the blend, but I opted for the premium Komeda Black instead. It's a blend of Brazil and Kilimanjaro, but it's a bit too acidic for my taste. I prefer my coffee without acidity. For food, I had miso katsu, Kometchiki, and tebasaki. The miso katsu is huge. It has a sweet miso flavor, not too sweet, and it's deliciously soaked into the cutlet. But one piece is more than enough for me. It looks like it would be great for taking pictures, and it would be fun to share with a group. Surprisingly, the tebasaki is tasty. The accompanying powder brings out a great flavor. It was perfect as a beer snack. If they open in Kitami, there will definitely be long lines. For now, takeout might be the way to go.

I tried to go to Komeda three times before, but I hesitated and left because of the reservation paper at the entrance. It was open after 10 a.m. and I could finally enter. The two girls at the cash register were looking at me but didn't say anything. It seemed empty, but I mimed a few times asking if I needed to press the waiting machine, but they kept talking and looking at me without saying anything. What's going on? What should I do? Can I just enter on my own? Can you please say something? Then a different girl came and asked, "How many people?" Yes, they have assigned roles. But couldn't they at least say, "Please wait a moment"? Is it not in the manual? I was guided to a table for two. I only wanted to drink Komeda Blend coffee and asked for the menu. "Do you want the morning set?" "No, thank you." Then she said, "I'll bring you some beans snacks instead." I didn't want it, but it's awkward to refuse, so I waited for 3 minutes. This coffee is just okay. It has a moderate depth, lacking in richness and flavor, but it's decent for coffee at a place like this. There are no complaints. Starbucks' coffee changes depending on the day, so it's hard to compare, but it's definitely tastier than the national chain. I wonder what kind of store this place used to be. In January 2022, I visited Komeda Coffee after a long time. Initially, it was very crowded, so I avoided going there, but I thought it might be okay now. When I arrived, I found out there was a wait of 15 groups, but if you get a ticket and register on LINE, you will receive a notification on your smartphone when it's your turn. After registering, I looked around at other shops while waiting. I was called in about 30 minutes. The interior of the shop is very spacious with many booth partitions. I was seated at a table for two and placed my order: an Egg Burger and Komeda Blend coffee for me, and a Coffee Jelly for my companion. While waiting, I looked at the menu and noticed there were many food options, but surprisingly no rice dishes for a Komeda Coffee shop. The Egg Burger arrived and it was huge! It felt heavy when I held it, filled with egg, bacon, Karashi mayonnaise, and some other sauce. It was delicious! The buns were also very tasty and paired well with the coffee. The Coffee Jelly my companion ordered was not too sweet, with a good balance between soft serve ice cream and coffee jelly. The chairs were comfortable, and the atmosphere felt like a private room, which was very relaxing. I might come back for breakfast again. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

We arrived around 10:00 am and found that the place was quite busy with several customers before and after us. Our order included: - Komeda Blend (Regular) for 450 yen - Cafe au Lait (Regular) for 470 yen - Mini Salad for 240 yen - Shiro Noir for 650 yen - Kometchi (6 pieces) for 540 yen We specifically went for the Komeda Blend and Cafe au Lait for their morning set. We chose the B egg paste. While we were offered to change the toast from butter to something else, we decided to stick with butter. The morning set was really worth it with delicious bread. The butter flavor was a bit strong. The drinks were likely to be enjoyed by everyone. The Mini Salad, despite its size, was quite filling. It also came with two types of dressing, which was nice. The Shiro Noir was something my companion really wanted to try, but it was a bit difficult to eat. My companion's reaction was like, "Is this how it's supposed to be?" As for the Kometchi, it was honestly not good. It felt like eating a frozen meal. The coating and the meat... I thought maybe it was just for fun, but I don't think I'll try it again. Overall, the morning set was good in terms of taste and value. It's not easy to find places for breakfast in Kushiro, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Last time I had a curry cutlet sandwich, so this time I went for a pork cutlet sandwich! My friend got a potato salad toast. It's a takeout order. It took 10 minutes until it was ready. The weather is nice so we went to the park. The pork cutlet sandwich was hearty. The cutlet was tender and the breading was crispy. It was delicious, but personally, I wouldn't mind if the mustard was stronger. The potato salad toast wasn't as big as the cutlet sandwich, but it was filled with plenty of potato salad. There were also vegetables in it, making my friend happy. We exchanged a piece and I tried it, and even as someone who loves potato salad, I was satisfied. The vegetables were tasty too. You can't be satisfied with just one sandwich from a convenience store, but with a sandwich from Komeda Coffee, one is enough to be completely satisfied. My stomach is full now. The Komeda Coffee shop at Aeon Kushiro is so spacious!!! It's the first time I've seen such a large Komeda Coffee shop! Even though there was a wait for two people, we got a number from the ticket machine and waited for about 5 minutes. The two-person seat we were shown to had dividers next to it, creating a semi-private space where you can relax comfortably by yourself. They have Wi-Fi and outlets, which is great! I ordered the Komeda Beef Burger set. It was loaded with meat, so much meat! I was lured in by the campaign on the official app where you can win a Komeda mug!! The wasabi mayonnaise can be changed to regular mayonnaise, but I kept it as is. The iced coffee was regular. It took a little while, but when the burger arrived, it was huge!!! It definitely had a satisfying amount of food. I asked for the iced coffee to be less sweet. Huh? It had a strong bitterness. Huh?? The taste seemed different from usual. The appeal of being able to relax in a spacious environment is great. Thank you for the meal♪

I visited Komeda Coffee for the first time and tried their Meat-Dakudaku Burger, which was on sale. I ordered a large iced coffee (550 yen) and the Meat-Dakudaku Burger (980 yen). The service was polite and there were no issues. The iced coffee arrived in about 3 minutes, and it had a refreshing taste that I liked. About 5 minutes later, the Meat-Dakudaku Burger arrived. They gave me a fork, so I wondered if I should cut the burger and eat it that way, but I decided to take a bite like I would at McDonald's or Mos Burger. When I lifted the burger, the broth from the meat was surprisingly hot and almost burned my hand. Taking a bite, I found that the meat was also hot! Inside the wrapping paper, there was a lot of broth, making me crave rice haha. Well, it was delicious in its own way. The Katsu Sandwich also looked tasty. It was a good meal!

Last month, I visited the city of Kushiro and stopped by Komeda Coffee inside AEON Kushiro store. The quality of Komeda never disappoints - I had a soy milk latte and Morning Set B, while my companion had Komeda Blend and Morning Set B. The morning bread was delicious! This was my first time trying Komeda's soy milk latte, and I noticed there was a soy sticker on the cup handle - not sure if this was a mistake or intentional. We only stayed for 15 minutes as we stumbled upon the place on our way to our destination and had to rush. I forgot to take a picture of the exterior of the store, but I would love to visit again and take my time next time. Thank you, AEON Kushiro store!

It's been a while since I had lunch with my partner. We tried takeout from Komeda Coffee. I had the Katsu Curry Bread and orange juice, while my partner had the Grilled Chicken Hot Sandwich and lemon squash. We waited for about 20 minutes for our takeout. Since the weather was nice, we drove a bit to enjoy our meal in the nature of the outskirts. - Katsu Curry Bread: It was heavy. When I opened it, the bread was packed in the container. The cutlet was thick and the curry sauce was spicy and went well with the meat and bread. It was a satisfying dish for someone with a big appetite. - Grilled Chicken Hot Sandwich: The thick chicken and crispy bread were delicious. The teriyaki sauce was also tasty. This day, we arrived right at opening time for our meetup, so we were able to enter smoothly. Inside the store, there was still the smell of new wood and a faint coffee aroma. While following my sister's lead, I ordered from the menu. It's helpful to have someone show you how to order at a new place...lol. I ordered the Premium Coffee Sophia. It had a rich flavor and a fragrant Brazilian single-origin iced coffee. It was smooth and easy to drink, making me want to understand it right away. The Ebi Katsu Pan had plump shrimp wrapped in a crispy coating. The special sauce enhanced the sweetness of the shrimp. It was delicious! I'm curious about the other varieties too... My sister was making a face as if the Fresh Lemon Squash was very sour...lol. The Shironoar was crispy on the outside, but unexpectedly moist inside. It wasn't very rich in ice cream flavor, but when you drizzle maple syrup on it, the taste transforms. Since it was still early, ordering a drink came with a morning set. We were forcibly recommended the small red bean toast. In the past, I would have strongly said, "I'm on a diet, so shouldn't it be a boiled egg?!" but seeing my sister working hard from a distance, I could only say, "Alright." lol. We had an hour and a half of chatting due to our errands, but it reminded me of the Golden Trio from that time... Next time, we should all gather for a tea party.

The seating is almost like private rooms, which reduces the chance of running into acquaintances (lol). I sat at a table for two and ordered a Komeda Coffee Black for 550 yen including tax. The temperature was a bit lukewarm when served. It is a blend of Kilimanjaro with a relatively refreshing taste and a slightly sweet aroma. It was quite delicious. The beans that came with it had a hint of saltiness, which was nice. I also ordered a Mini Sandwich for 360 yen because it was cheap. It was a ham and cucumber sandwich with a generous amount of egg, and the size was just right. It was delicious. The best part was the cozy atmosphere. The private space was perfect, and you could relax and stay for a long time. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation at the entrance and received guidance from the staff before being seated. The fluffy chairs and well-separated seats create a calm atmosphere as rumored. This time, I ordered the Komeda Blend coffee (450 yen) and the Ankake Spaghetti (770 yen). A few minutes later, the coffee arrived. The aroma was good, and the slightly bitter coffee did not have any acidity. Then, the Ankake Spaghetti arrived. The ingredients included mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and minced meat. The spicy seasoning may wake you up. The spaghetti was soft. The chewy texture was attractive. The salad consisted of cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, French bread (with olive oil), and two types of dressings. I tried the Komeda original dressing. Since the spaghetti is spicy, it may be a bit difficult to eat with soy sauce dressing. The bread is convenient for cleaning up the last bits of spaghetti sauce. The vegetables were crispy and delicious. I would like to stop by again if I have the chance.
