Sapporo City, Toyohira Ward, Nakanoshima 1-jo 4-chome. A corner where Kanjo-dori and Nakanoshima-dori intersect. There used to be a medium-sized Co-op Sapporo store, but in mid-October, it moved just a little and reopened as a large store. I visited before the opening hours on the opening day. As expected, there was a long line of people waiting. There were many limited-time special deals available. The bakery section is newly renovated and they were promoting it inside the store. However, the highly recommended "corner bread" was not ready yet, and they had already run out of the numbered tickets for it. I tried the corner bread later, which costs around 500 yen for one loaf, and it was soft, chewy, not too sweet, and quite delicious. On that day, I purchased a burger that was not related to the corner bread. It was a black wagyu menchi-katsu burger, juicy and delicious. They also had tonkatsu, ham katsu, zangi, hamburger, and more. The salt bread is said to be another popular item, but I have not tried it yet. When I visited again later, I bought a sandwich made with the corner bread. The sandwich was indeed delicious with the tasty bread. Towards the end of November, Co-op Sapporo Shinkotoni store opened, and I lined up to visit it in the morning. The same bakery was also in that store. It seems like they might be expanding. Co-op Sapporo might be the oldest large-scale supermarket in Hokkaido, although I didn't research it and don't know the details. However, because of its long-standing history (around half a century), I frequently visit various stores and almost always go in when I see one. Thank you for the meal.
