This restaurant is located in the restaurant area in the basement of the Tokyu Stay Sapporo in Susukino. It was my third visit in about six months. The restaurant only has counter seats arranged back to back. They offer lunchtime service, which is unique as the main branch "Cologne" is also located in the same basement. I used a discount coupon for staying at the hotel, so I skipped the change of 20 yen and used a 2000 yen coupon. ☆■ Filet Steak Lunch (1980 yen) Tomato sauce omelette, filet steak (100g), grilled vegetables (3 types), grilled umeboshi, garlic chips, salad with Japanese dressing, miso soup, rice, pickles, soft drink (orange juice). First, the chef makes a plain omelette on the teppan in front of you. The sauce is made with ketchup and sautéed mini tomatoes. Next, they grill the vegetables. On this day, it was onion, nagaimo (Chinese yam), and zucchini. The onion rings are stacked and flambéed, and they perform tricks like calling it "Showa Shinzan" or boiling oil inside the onion and calling it "Jigokudani". For the meat, there is also a flambe show, so be ready to take photos at any time. I asked for the meat to be cooked well-done as I'm not a fan of raw meat. It was delicious as always, living up to the reputation of a high-end teppanyaki restaurant. ☆Not only is the food delicious, but you can also enjoy the performance while eating, making it worth the price. It's a great option for treating clients to lunch or celebrating special occasions like birthdays. I would love to visit again when I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

I wandered around the outskirts of Sapporo on a business trip and found a nice teppanyaki restaurant. I had a course meal of fillet steak and seafood salad while watching the cooking performance in front of me. I also had some wine. The portion was large and I was full. The food was delicious and the performance was good. Thank you for the meal.

I'm sorry, but it's been a while since I visited this restaurant, so I don't remember much about the taste. However, the fillet steak set was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend this place. Personally, I would like to visit for both lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is reasonably priced, making it easy for new working professionals to visit. I hope you get to try it out. Located in the underground shopping area of the hotel where I was staying, this place was recommended by a friend for its excellent lunch deals. Visiting on a Thursday afternoon, the restaurant was not very crowded but I heard they had quite a few reservations. I ordered the lunch course with fillet steak for 2500 yen. The meal included a salad with crispy cheese, a fluffy omelette, 100g of fillet steak, sautéed yam and Kyoto carrots, and garlic rice - all for this price. Everything was cooked on a hot plate, and they even did some fun performances like shaping the fried rice into a heart and the mayonnaise into Anpanman. The only difference between the 1800 yen set and the 2500 yen course was whether you wanted regular white rice or garlic rice. Since the price difference was not much, I opted for the garlic rice. It was an amazing meal with great value for money.

I used this restaurant for lunch for the first time. The atmosphere inside is quiet, unlike dinner time. It was almost too quiet, so I think having background music would make it more relaxing. The service was very attentive, with staff pulling out chairs and storing belongings under the chairs. I ordered the sirloin steak course, and it was fantastic in terms of taste, portion size, and performance. The performance on the teppanyaki grill was great, and they even asked if I was ready to take a video for social media. Unlike dinner, the course did not include dessert, but it was still very satisfying.

This is a steakhouse located in the basement of Tokyu REI Hotel. Their lunch menu is reasonably priced and delicious, so I highly recommend it. Sitting at the counter, you can watch the chefs cook on the iron griddle right in front of you. The performance during the cooking of the onion and garlic fried rice is especially enjoyable. The main steak is served with kombu soy sauce and salt, and they also ask for your preferred level of doneness which makes it even more delicious. It was a slightly luxurious lunch. It's been a long time since I had teppanyaki, and for lunch too! The cost performance was so good that I was impressed. For 2750 yen, I got a drink, omelette, Caesar salad, 100g of filet, grilled vegetables, and garlic rice. And of course, there was entertainment too! It's also nice that there was no dessert. If there was one, I would have eaten it, but I like it when there's no dessert in the lunch course. (laughs)

I had a meal at Anex, a sister restaurant in Cologne. I reserved the "Kamui Course (7,348 yen incl.)" in advance, and sat at the counter. The meal started with the chef's greeting, and the ingredients were cooked one by one on the teppan in front of me. Watching the teppanyaki being prepared in front of you is truly the essence of teppanyaki. The skillful handling and performance like in Mahjong enhance the deliciousness even more. Welcome Petit Toast, aromatic domestic beef appetizer, Shiretoko chicken steak, Fillet steak (150g domestic beef), seasonal grilled vegetables, flavored bean sprouts, Garlic Fried Rice (+660 yen incl. tax), miso soup, pickles, Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The exquisite cooking and refined ingredients, it's amazing how even simple bean sprouts can be so delicious. From the finale of Garlic Fried Rice to the finish, I enjoyed the time and the food. It was satisfying. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch teppanyaki. I wanted to go to the cheese fondue place at night, but couldn't find the time, so I ended up coming here for lunch. Last order is at 2 o'clock, so I called to let them know I would arrive a little before that, but it took me longer to get there and I was going to be a little past 2 o'clock, so I called again. The response was very kind, saying "Please wait, and please be careful on your way here!" Thank you very much. Inside, each table has a teppan grill, creating a nice atmosphere. The table I was directed to was already occupied by someone else, so we ended up sharing the table. Three of us ordered the hamburger set, and one person ordered the pork loin course. The course included omelette, garlic rice, and cheese senbei for the course order. The performance was great, and the banter from the veteran staff was entertaining. They made jokes with the customers who arrived before us, saying "You've already heard this story, so there's no need to be impressed again, right?" The food was impressive, especially the tenderness of the hamburger. However, the sauce was not quite like demi-glace, one person said it was delicious, but the other two of us thought it was a waste of the delicious hamburger. It lacked richness or complexity in flavor. The garlic rice had a mild garlic flavor. Maybe the seasoning was too light, or maybe we prefer stronger flavors, but we've had garlic rice at many hotels and teppanyaki restaurants before, and we expected a stronger garlic taste. It's a matter of preference, but we thought a stronger garlic flavor with more impact would be better. The grilled vegetables were really delicious. The large pieces of onion had a strong sweetness and were recommended. You can eat as much as you want. The other vegetables included zucchini and nagaimo (Chinese yam). Perhaps because we were seated at the farthest teppan table, the space was quite narrow, and when we pulled out our chairs, they hit the wall. But the service and performance were very good. When making the garlic rice, they shaped eggs into Hello Kitty and heart shapes, which was lovely. It's a wonderful restaurant. And lunch is cheap! Please come and try it out.

Visited on October 13, 2021, for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant we had reserved had to cancel for some reason, leaving us stranded on our special day. Thankfully, Steakhouse Cologne Annex came to our rescue. They entertained us with great conversation and performances that made us forget about our disappointment. We are truly grateful. Thank you so much! The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were all friendly. We will definitely visit again! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I went to Steakhouse Cologne Annex! ψ(`∇´)ψ Gaoo~♫ I'm so happy that they offer lunch at this high-end restaurant. The service was perfect, they even pulled out the chair for me. In the evening on a regular day, I decided to visit a steakhouse that had caught my attention before, called Cologne Annex. When I got off the subway at Susukino Station and emerged above ground, I noticed that both the Susukino Police Box and Rafira were gone, and when I looked to the left, the Tokyu REI Hotel suddenly appeared in front of me, surprising me! I went down to the basement of the REI Hotel and entered Cologne Annex. I ordered the course with domestic beef fillet steak and chicken steak. The thinly sliced beef appetizer had a sweet and savory soy sauce-based sauce that really stimulated my appetite. The chicken steak was simply seasoned with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and came with a variety of 3-4 types of grilled vegetables, making it a hearty meal. The main steak was 100g, and I felt like I wanted a bit more, but then rice, miso soup, and pickles were served, and I ended up feeling quite full. For those with a small appetite, it would be enough to fill you up. For big eaters, I recommend the 150g course. We each had a soft drink, and the total bill for two people was around 10,000 yen, which felt like a pretty good deal.

Today is Good Meat Day, established by the "Better Miyazaki Beef Production Measures Council." The date is November 29th, which can be read as "good meat" in Japanese. The purpose is to promote the delicious taste and quality of "Miyazaki beef." To celebrate, I was taken to a steakhouse. It was my second visit to this restaurant in Sapporo Tokyu REI Hotel's Plaza Sapporo BI, after about 10 years. I don't remember the taste from my first visit, but I recall it being delicious, so I was really looking forward to it. Indulging in luxury with friends is a treat! The cooking is done right in front of you, with the chef's performance adding to the dining experience. It's exciting to watch and makes the food taste even better. The meal started with a welcome toast and beer, followed by appetizers. The main course featured Tokachi beef, which was incredibly flavorful. The chef's skillful cooking and presentation made the meal even more enjoyable. The highlight was the Miyazaki beef sirloin and tenderloin, cooked rare and served with various side dishes. The flambé performance added a touch of excitement to the dining experience. The meat was perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. Each bite was a delight, and the meal ended with a flavorful stir-fried bean sprout dish. The cooking technique and attention to detail really made a difference in the taste of each dish. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I visited the restaurant after work on June 25, 2020 because I was craving meat. It is located in Tokyu REI B1. When you think of teppanyaki, you might imagine a somewhat formal atmosphere, but this place is casual and enjoyable. There are various courses available, but this time I chose the "Pirika Course." The course included appetizers, chicken steak, domestic beef fillet steak, grilled vegetables, rice (garlic rice), and dessert. The portion was huge and all of this only cost 3980 yen, plus an additional charge for changing to garlic rice. It's so cheap, isn't it? My wife joked that if we couldn't finish it, the meat would start flowing in from the next table (laughs). I was really full. We also had beer and a bottle of full-bodied red wine, and the total bill came to around 20,000 yen. Having wine with teppanyaki at this price is quite reasonable. I will definitely come back again. This is Susukino. I'm here with my usual group of three troublemakers to enjoy a meal and explore Susukino! We gather almost every month to eat delicious food and have fun. This time, our theme is steak! I used to go to Cologne for work, but this is my first time at Annex. The menu doesn't change much, just the location. This time, we ordered the Ikeda Course for 7,980 yen, excluding tax, and added scallops for everyone. We started with a toast with highballs! Everyone seems to be conscious of their sugar intake with these highballs! We had a few highballs and then switched to wine. The service was excellent as always, with Doraemon and heart performances right in front of us! The steak, vegetables, and fried rice were all delicious! Especially the fried rice, it's so good! We ended the meal with red meat melon, a nice way to relax. It's a great place to take important people or for special occasions. It's a shame it was just us old guys this time...haha. Thank you for the meal!

Celebrating with family at a teppanyaki dinner at Cologne Annex. We had a reservation for Sunday evening at 5 pm, and with a ¥3980 coupon for the Pirika course, we got a free beer for the toast. We also ordered a bottle of sparkling wine. The course included appetizers, meat and vegetable grill, Shiretoko chicken steak, and a 120g fillet steak. We added garlic fried rice for an extra ¥600. For dessert, we had ice cream. It was a great deal with two steaks in the course. Teppanyaki is fun because you can see the chef cooking right in front of you. The flambé show is always a highlight. The vegetables also tasted delicious. The 120g steak was satisfying. The staff provided excellent service. I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again in the future.

It was a dinner with a regular customer on a weekday night. The customer loves meat, so we made a reservation at a place in Susukino that offers meat, private rooms, and smoking areas. We arrived at 6:30 pm and the restaurant was about 40% full. We were seated in the farthest private room, which was a bit small but cozy. We ordered the Ikeda course for 7480 yen. First, we had shrimp toast, which was a crispy baguette with shrimp oil and shrimp cracker on top. It went well with beer. Then, we had butter-grilled beef with apple slices. The apple slices were grilled on the teppan first, followed by the beef cooked in butter. The combination of the sweet apple and the savory beef was delicious, especially with red wine. Next, we had a Caesar salad with cheese crackers. Parmesan cheese was thinly sliced and grilled on the teppan until crispy, then placed on top of a Caesar salad with tomatoes and lettuce. The cheese crackers added a nice crunch and flavor to the salad. Finally, we had the main course, steak. Each person had a 150g portion of steak, which was beautifully marbled and cooked to perfection. The steak was juicy and flavorful, and the A3 grade Hokkaido beef was top-notch. The steak was served in two portions, ensuring that it stayed warm throughout the meal. For dessert, we had garlic rice cooked on the teppan, with a fun performance of drawing an anpan with minced beef on the teppan and creating a heart shape with the garlic rice and egg. It was a delightful and enjoyable dining experience that lasted for about 2 and a half hours. The restaurant offered great value for the quality of food and service. It was a memorable evening.
