After wandering around the Hongo shopping street, I stopped by "Outlaw" for the first time in a while. There used to be a store in Yonesato as well, but now it seems like only Shinoro and Hongo Street are left. Here, you are bound to find interesting products. They have a variety of items like alcohol, perishables, fresh produce, confectionery, instant food, seasonings, prepared foods, and bento boxes. The most interesting section to check out is the "meat-related" products, which take up the largest space in the store. They have a good selection of frozen, non-frozen, and processed meats. Prices are very affordable, with chicken around 40 yen per 100g, pork around 70 yen per 100g, and beef around 90 yen per 100g. Some items may not be the best quality, so it's good to have a discerning eye. Many restaurant owners also come here for their supplies due to the low prices and decent quality. I purchased "US beef shoulder loin steak cut @198 yen for 315g - 100 yen", "thick-cut Mexican three-element pork belly @99 yen for 288g", "Nakachan Wiener from around the world 12 pieces @299-100", and "Mega Franks Smoke @199-50". I cooked them immediately after returning home. The beef shoulder loin had little fat, tender red meat, and was definitely worth the price. The three-element pork had a bit of a chew but the flavor from the fat was impressive. The thick-cut pork belly had a great texture and would be perfect for yakitori. The Nakachan Wiener is available in other supermarkets as well, but it seems to be the cheapest here. I also noticed items like "thinly sliced frozen beef at 1.5mm thickness 500g = 500 yen" and "block of cartilage" that caught my interest, so I will be visiting again soon. The prepared foods and bento boxes are also quite affordable, but recently, cooperatives, Seiyu, and Trial are also offering competitive prices. It's a highly recommended budget supermarket with good convenience, located a 7-8 minute walk from Nango 7-chome Station. Thank you for the delicious meal.
