I hadn't been to this long-established restaurant since I was a student, but I recently went to try their highly praised Beef Jawa Curry, which was featured on a TV show. Inspired by the show, I had made a similar curry at home a few times, so I wanted to compare the two. Overall, the restaurant's curry was sweeter, with the spiciness coming later and being mild, with a lot of turmeric and a slightly loose texture. The original curry was delicious! However, my homemade version (with shiitake mushrooms) was also delicious! My wife ordered the set with hamburger, shrimp fry, and crab cream croquette, which were all typical family restaurant dishes, but they were all delicious!

The parfaits here are the most delicious. As always, I go for the seasonal limited edition. The burnt melon creme brulee parfait for 1408 yen and the caramel nut creme brulee for 748 yen are so tasty and make me happy! The creme brulee has a crispy texture and is sweet, but the melon is refreshing so you can eat it quickly. I'm not a fan of sweet things, but Royal Host's parfaits are always delicious. They are filling, so I am satisfied with the price. I wonder if the next seasonal limited edition will be chestnut-flavored? Looking forward to it.

Royal Host in Hiraoka Street, Toyohira-ku, Sapporo. I visited late at night because I really wanted to eat meat but didn't want to overeat. They have an Angus beef steak + salad brunch set available even at night. The Angus beef steak was delicious, the garlic toast was amazing, and the onion soup was rich and tasty. I ate before 11 pm and didn't have stomach issues the next day (lol). The customer service at Royal Host is great, and the meal service is excellent. Nowadays, the family restaurant industry is dominated by tablet orders and robot serving, but I hope Royal Host continues with their current warm and welcoming business style. I will definitely visit again!

I went to Royal Host for the first time in a while. The number of stores has decreased, and it's sad that there are no more nearby. The lunch menu has a huge variety with daily specials, limited-time offers, and special lunches to choose from. I decided on a set that came with salad, soup, drink, and dessert, along with a drink bar which was a good deal. The chicken was tender and flavorful with spices, and the soft-boiled egg added a nice touch. The salad and soup were a nice break in between bites. The dessert was a bittersweet coffee jelly with vanilla ice cream inside, which was refreshing. There were many options at the drink bar, but the coffee wasn't to my liking. Sometimes I really crave Royhō's Jawa curry. But since Jawa curry is also available on the breakfast menu at New Chitose Airport, I decided to try ordering the Kashmir curry. It was delicious but spicy, and it made me cough a bit. Next time, I'll definitely go for the Beef Jawa curry.

This is a review of Royal Host in Hiragishi, Toyohira Ward, Sapporo City. I usually don't go to family restaurants, and even if I do, I don't review them. However, I was intrigued by a certain TV show where the judges unanimously approved the Jawa Curry, so I decided to visit and review it. I asked the staff how many grams of rice they serve, but they couldn't give me an exact answer and instead said, "You can have a large serving for free, how many grams would you like?" It was a mysterious response. Can I have a large serving of just the curry sauce? "We can't do a large serving of just the curry sauce. You'll have to order two portions," they said. Hmm, I wonder why? Maybe it's because they serve it in packs? I ordered the Jawa Curry as usual. The curry sauce wasn't as spicy as I had expected, and it had a strangely strong sweetness. It had a complex umami flavor like a hotel dish, and it was indeed delicious, but it felt too well-behaved and lacked a punch. The strong sweetness wasn't to my liking. I guess I had set my expectations too high. The conversation about professional evaluations was on a level that my unsophisticated palate couldn't understand. Thank you for the meal~.

I felt like eating meat and crab cream croquettes, so I ordered a set. The meat was a bit tough, but the crab cream croquettes were delicious and the shrimp fry was plump and tasty. I think I'll avoid ordering too much meat next time since it's not really my preference. The parfait for dessert was as always, highly rated and I love it. I ordered a morning drink bar at the beginning of July 2022, but it ended up being expensive for just one cup. I took a photo discreetly so it wouldn't be noticed, but there's nothing special to show. One of the strengths of Royal Host is that it has become a standard for business meetings. This is an incredible advantage. I had an iced coffee, and both hot and iced coffee were available in pitchers or pots. The taste was simple and reassuring. Thank you for the meal♪

After visiting Sapporo, I was hungry on the way back, so I was looking for a place to eat anywhere. In the car, I saw a Royal Host and was immediately drawn in. It was around 1:30 pm, just past lunchtime, so I was seated right away. I ordered the "Weekday Limited Daily Lunch" without hesitation. It had been 30 years since I last visited a Royal Host, but the interior looked the same as before, like I had time-traveled back 30 years. I was a bit excited. The lunch arrived, and I started eating. It was not as fancy as I remembered from 30 years ago, but rather quite ordinary. Overall, it was a nostalgic experience.

Today's lunch was the "Kashmir Beef Curry" from Royal Host. It was served in a gratin dish with a thin, spicy, flavorful curry sauce filled with chunks of vegetables and beef. There were fried onions in the center of the rice, and pickles and chutney on the side. The spiciness was just right, and it was delicious.

My partner and I went to lunch. Although they had to close for a long period of time due to the air freshener explosion in Hiragishi, they have been rediscovered and loved by the locals. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, customers continue to visit. The menu looks delicious, but the prices are a bit high. They seem to focus on dishes in the 2000-3000 yen range, different from Gato. Today's order: Angus steak pilaf for 1958 yen (tax included) for me, and strawberry brulee for 968 yen (tax included) for my partner. The Angus sirloin steak, 100 grams, was placed on top of garlic pilaf. The sirloin steak was tender and had just the right amount of fat. The pilaf was seasoned with garlic butter and Japanese-style dashi soy sauce, a perfect match for the steak. The ingredients included diced beef, onions, and bell peppers. It was quite a high-calorie meal and filled me up. The side vegetables were a pleasant surprise, with deep-fried eggplant and pumpkin that were surprisingly sweet. Despite the slightly high prices, the quality made us want to come back. My partner was satisfied with the brulee, another high-calorie treat. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I was seated at a table with enough space between other customers. I had the hamburger, which was surprisingly delicious. It was tender, juicy, and even though it wasn't made with wagyu beef, it was still very tasty. Family restaurants are great for taking it easy. It's a shame they don't have cakes for dessert, as that's part of the fun. Maybe this place is not really aimed at families? Instead of a parfait or chiffon cake, I ended up eating pancakes for dessert. The parking is free for up to three hours.

Along the Hiranishi Street. It's been a while since I walked south from the Hokuyo Bank Hiranishi Branch. Past KFC, looking up, the orange sign is shining. Next to it, it seems a new building has been completed. It looks like it will be a convenience store this time. The interior here has been renovated, but the layout inside hasn't changed much. If I had to say, the counter seats have been replaced with a self-serve drink corner. The coffee machine is convenient, but compared to the refill coffee that used to be common at places like Royal Host or Denny's, it feels a bit lacking in flavor. Ham and Chicken Clubhouse Sandwich ¥880 + tax The volume is a bit down, but it's just right for me now. Ingredients sandwiched between toasted bread and cut. Even though it's simple, this sandwich that takes effort is delicious. I sometimes dip the ketchup and mustard I use for the French fries side dish into the bread. Family restaurants are also changing with the times. This place used to be open 24 hours... It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This ROYAL Hotel suffered a tragic explosion a few years ago, but it has been revived and has become a reassuring place once again. It has become a tradition for my friends and I to gather here every New Year's, and we look forward to visiting again next year. Thank you.

I tried using Royal Host, which I have used before, as I found out they also offer takeout. There is a parking lot next to the store, but it is a paid parking lot with sensors, probably due to its proximity to Hiragishi Station. I received a 3-hour free service ticket at the time of payment, which I scanned at the checkout machine. The takeout is a good deal with the reduced tax rate, but the menu is limited. I decided to go with the Black Black Hamburger, which came with rice and potatoes. While waiting, I was also offered complimentary coffee at my seat. The hamburger was solid and the rice was delicious. The service was good too, so overall, I was satisfied. You can pay with a card.

We found out that the Royal Hotel was offering a Christmas lunch menu for the first time, so we decided to go as a family. The restaurant was very crowded, but luckily we had made a reservation so we were seated right away. The service from the staff was excellent and we were impressed. The menu had a wide variety of dishes and the prices were quite reasonable. We waited eagerly for our food to arrive. We started with a green salad, onion gratin soup, lobster and Angus sirloin steak, and finished with an apple sorbet for dessert. The flavors were even better than we had expected. The steak, large shrimp fry, and crab cream croquette were delicious and luxurious to eat all at once. The menu at Roy's House had improved since the last time I visited, and I was impressed by the new options. I will definitely come back again.

When it was brought to the table, it was already starting to melt a little, which was disappointing. It had a decent amount of volume, just as it looked. I think next time I will try a different parfait.
