On weekends, my routine starts with a morning walk of about 15,000 steps, which always makes me hungry. I usually search for a nearby quick and easy restaurant for breakfast on Sunday mornings, and I often end up at "Matsuya" since I've tried most chain restaurants in the area. Matsuya is operated by the nationally expanding and partially listed food and beverage company "Matsuya Foods Holdings," with affiliated companies such as "Matsunoya, Matsunoke, Sushi Matsuya, Matshuku, Tomato no Hana, Matsukoen Chuka Shokudo, Matsusoba, and Steak-ya Matsuya," many of which are unfamiliar in Hokkaido. The stock price as of January 21, 2022, was 3,560 yen, and for shareholders who have held shares for over a year, they receive "10 meal vouchers," and for over three years, they receive "12 meal vouchers." I purchased the "Regular Morning Set @360 yen (tax included)" from the ticket vending machine at the entrance. The food was served promptly, as always, within three minutes, and it included white rice, miso soup, nori, raw egg, and pickles. For the side dish, I chose "natto" from options like grated yam, mini beef bowl, natto, and chilled tofu. The rice was acceptable, but if the quality could be slightly better, it would be great. Despite my intention to order a small portion, I ended up with a regular serving, which was quite filling. The miso soup contained fried tofu and seaweed, slightly on the salty side for me. The pickled Chinese cabbage with ginger was delicious. Overall, the cost performance of this meal was excellent, and I am grateful for such a satisfying experience at this price point. I look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you for the meal.
