When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, especially for this government-designated rare disease. As we enter December, the increased heating in hospitals and commercial facilities exacerbates the condition. Unfortunately, there is no medication that suits me yet. Likes and comments may be delayed, so thank you for your understanding. [December 2019] This is my fourth review, so I'll keep it light. Tamakure-en is a tea shop founded in 1933. The main store is located in the Odori area of Chuo Ward. They are known for their matcha ice cream "Yukime Parfait," which is popular on food review websites. The "Sapporo Asaichi" is a morning market run by wholesalers at the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market. The main customers are retail and food service establishments, especially those in the seafood industry. Even famous sushi restaurants come here for supplies. It's not a market frequented by the general public, but towards the end of the year, many people come to buy ingredients for New Year's. The market follows the same operating calendar as the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market. The operating hours are from 5 am to 11 am, with no parking for the general public until 9 am. During the year-end, a large parking lot is available nearby for general customers. The "Tamakure-en Central Wholesale Market Store" is located within this "Sapporo Asaichi." Since it's a morning market, they open at 5 am. Until 9 am, the deputy manager from the main store is usually present, then they return to the main store. After 9 am, staff from nearby stores handle customer inquiries. If you want detailed explanations about the products, it's best to visit before 9 am. The main store focuses on retail tea and ice cream, while this store caters to retail establishments. They mainly sell seaweed and tea for business use, as well as cigarettes. They offer various types of tea, including powdered tea for sushi restaurants, and large bags not found at the main store. They also have coffee and black tea tucked away in the back. The seaweed is mostly sold in packs of 100, which is uncommon in retail stores. Some seaweed packages are more consumer-friendly, but many are in bulk. I was advised by the deputy manager that "thick seaweed is for sushi" and "thin seaweed is for rice balls." Lately, we've been having hand-rolled sushi for dinner at home. This time, I bought the thick "Sushi Use High-Quality Seaweed Tokuyou." ■ Sushi Use High-Quality Seaweed Tokuyou 15 sheets The seaweed has a good gloss and a crispy texture. Price: 529 yen (tax included) (2018: 497 yen) (2015: 427 yen) It's mainly for business use, with large quantities at a low price. Professionals come here for their needs. Sushi rolls and hand-rolled sushi are always delicious. It's convenient to have them on hand during the New Year period. Despite being a wholesaler, Tamakure-en offers tasty seaweed at affordable prices. However, prices have gradually increased by about 25% compared to four years ago. I plan to visit again to buy sushi seaweed next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.
