I was really curious, so I decided to visit "Kofuku Hong Kong" with a sign that says "Xiaolongbao". It's located at Asahikawa City, 5 Jo 8 Chome Asahikawa Harete. The menu is nice and fun to look at, with cute panda illustrations. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, creating a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the Xiaolongbao (4 pieces) for 616 yen, which is quite cheap. When I opened it, the steam was so inviting. Although they are bite-sized, you must be careful not to burn yourself because they are so delicious. The Xiaolongbao captured the essence of the dish perfectly, making it an authentic and enjoyable experience. Feeling excited, I decided to order more. I tried the "Baasu" (Sweet Potato) for 330 yen. It looked just like a real sweet potato dish, and it tasted delicious too. The sauce was sweet but not too overpowering, complementing the sweet potato well. It was a surprising and delightful find at this restaurant.

I visited here because I wanted to eat xiaolongbao. It's been a while since I visited Din Tai Fung in Sapporo. To be honest, I think the xiaolongbao here is tastier (laughs). The skin is easy to eat, so I could eat as many as I wanted. It reminded me of the time I ate to my heart's content at Din Tai Fung's all-you-can-eat in Taiwan. They don't offer all-you-can-eat here. The zongzi was also delicious. I'm satisfied, thank you for the meal.

My drinking buddy successfully charmed the woman he was interested in, so the four of us decided to have dinner together. Before heading to the restaurant "Ichizuya" where a reservation was made, we quickly stopped by Harete for a Zeroth round. I thought we would just have the "Bliss Set" for a casual drink, but then I found other menu items that caught my eye. - Premium Malt Beer 550 yen: A tumbler size. They gave us some thickly sliced menma as a snack while we waited for our order. - Yuzu Xiao Long Bao (2 pieces) 330 yen: Beautiful yellow skin. When you break it on the lotus leaf, the soup oozes out. - Scallop in Chili Oil with Zasai 308 yen: The scallops... aren't actually in there, haha. Spicy and goes well with beer. It's a good portion for drinking alone, and I think I'll come back next time to enjoy a leisurely drink.

"A popular restaurant in Asahikawa Harete that opened serving xiaolongbao and chimaki. The interior is decorated with Chinese tea sets, creating an authentic Chinese restaurant atmosphere. During lunchtime, they offer a set that includes xiaolongbao, mini chimaki, and almond jelly. Since I visited during lunchtime, I ordered the 'Happiness Set' (1,089 yen). The xiaolongbao takes about 10 minutes to steam after ordering. The xiaolongbao is served with shredded ginger, and you can pour black vinegar over it. It is filled with plenty of juicy meat, using minced meat from Sugimoto Farm. The handmade skin is also delicious. The mini chimaki is freshly steamed, and you unwrap it from the bamboo leaf to enjoy the chicken, shiitake mushroom, and bamboo shoot filling. It has a chewy texture and is also delicious. The almond jelly was smooth and satisfying. Overall, it was a satisfying set. If you prefer a set with alcohol, the 'Bliss Set' (1,320 yen) includes 4 xiaolongbao, 1 cold dish, and a highball or sour (can be upgraded to draft beer for an additional 100 yen). They offer a variety of cold dishes and drinks, making it a good place for daytime drinking too!"
