Great value for money at this yakiniku restaurant! Everything was delicious and the naengmyeon (cold noodles) was very generous. It was tasty with the jelly sauce on top, giving it a unique flavor.

The inside of the restaurant was very smoky, but they gave us a large plastic bag and the customer service was very good. The hormone (offal) was delicious.

I went to this place after it reopened following a period of closure. The sharp-tongued old lady is gone, now there are two younger staff members. Maybe they are mother and daughter? The taste seems to have changed. The hormone is too sweet, and the assorted namul tastes different and stronger. It's not bad, just different from before. Hmm, I have to go back and try it again.

This is a hormone restaurant run by an older lady. It has an old-fashioned feel to it. The menu is limited, there are no special services, but the atmosphere and taste are good. The portion size seems generous for the price. When I went the other day, there was a notice saying they are temporarily closed.

I've always been curious about this restaurant near my house, and when a friend sent me a photo of it and suggested we go, I decided to check it out! I wasn't sure what to expect since White Stone seems to have a lot of families as customers, but the sign outside said "Hormone for 0 yen" and it turned out to be 330 yen (haha). We were seated at the counter and they even provided us with plastic bags to store our coats, which was thoughtful. The place is run by an older lady and maybe her daughter, and my friend ordered spicy hormone and namul platter, but they were out of namul already (even though it was before 7 pm). We ended up getting kimchi instead. The hormone was thick and had a good texture (not too spicy), and the sagari was tender and well-seasoned. They had sauces, gochujang, garlic, etc. on the table. We also tried pig's feet (my friend had it, not me). The upper mino had a good chew and was well-seasoned, no need for additional sauce. The galbi was tender and tasty, but a little goes a long way as it's a bit oily. The cold noodles were authentic with a perfectly balanced saltiness (might be too light for those who prefer strong flavors). We wanted rice, so we tried to order bibimbap but they couldn't make it (they were out of namul, remember?). We got yukgaejang and a small rice instead. The yukgaejang came in a slightly overpriced large bowl. Overall, we ate a lot and drank a lot, so it might not be super cheap for heavy eaters. The lady was a bit curt but nice, so I was very satisfied overall. I feel like I could go back alone next time I crave barbecue.

This is a restaurant I had been wanting to visit for a while. My wife and I went there together. Located just after the bustling drinking district of 6th, 7th, and 8th streets in Hongo-dori, this place is a cozy spot with a counter, a raised seating area, and a large tatami room at the back. The food did not disappoint, the marinated horumon was delicious. The owner recommended eating it as is or with sauce and gochujang, and both ways were great, especially with beer. We also tried it with shochu later on without sauce, and it was still delicious. The sagari beef, a favorite of ours, was also really tasty. Even though it was our first visit, they served us kakuteki and namul as a bonus. They use a charcoal grill, so we hesitated this time, but we definitely want to try the Genghis Khan next time. Whether dining alone or with others, the cozy atmosphere, great service, and nostalgic flavor of the horumon will surely make you feel at ease.
