I often go there after drinking, and I think it was a good decision to order the fresh chirashi sushi and thick rolls instead of sashimi. The Button Shrimp was delicious that day. The scallops were also thick and enjoyable.

Here they usually serve sushi or sashimi, but the other day I saw a friend eating a Chirashi bowl and it looked so delicious that I decided to try it. As you can see in the picture, it looks really tasty. You can eat it with soy sauce on the side, or pour soy sauce over it directly. It was delicious and I think I'll order it again next time.

I often stop by on my way home after drinking. It's a regular thing to sit at the counter and chat with the master. We used to have parties on the second floor in the past, but they haven't been doing that lately. On this day, I finished with nigiri. When I'm hungry, I prefer having a raw thick roll.

On December 17, 2021, what I can do now is to support restaurants while being careful enough. Let's all do our best! Tonight, before the monthly drinking party with friends called "Sake Lovers Club" (laughs), I decided to make a pre-visit to "Sushi Ten" for the first time. They offer takeout. The location is a little east of downtown Obihiro, along Minami 9th Street. It's close to the ABEKOJI Miso Brewery on the west side. The exterior is a two-story building with an elegant white wall. The interior is cozy, with currently 5 counter seats and 3 tables for 4 people each. I made a reservation for 5:30 PM. I ordered the Fresh Futomaki for 2,200 yen (tax included) and the Chutoro Tekkamaki for 1,800 yen (tax included), along with some alcohol. The sushi rice was slightly warm with a mild sweetness, and the addition of sea urchin made it delicious. I love sea urchin! I thought I would just have a light bite with the Chutoro Tekkamaki that I requested, but they made 3 rolls instead. The fatty tuna was sweet and tasty. I planned to eat oysters later, but now I'm already full. I will definitely come back to enjoy sushi again. Thank you for the meal. Sushi Ten: Opening hours from around 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM the next day. Closed on Sundays.

I have been visiting this restaurant since the Showa era. After being transferred, I only visit a few times a year, but I always sit at the counter and the small raised seating area (it's really tiny). I order sashimi at the usual spot at the counter. I start with two beers and then switch to sake. The master and I chat about the old days and it gets lively. Finally, I end with some sushi.

I visited Sushi Ten, a local sushi restaurant recommended by friends and a taxi driver. When I arrived, I was the first customer and the place was almost empty. I ordered a Kirin beer and tried various sushi items, including conger eel, salmon, scallops, thick-cut scallops, yellowtail, and sweet shrimp. The rice was slightly small and less vinegary, but the sushi was well-made. The restaurant has a retro vibe, including the restroom, so it may not be suitable for those looking for a modern place. Overall, it's a good spot for those who want non-conveyor belt sushi. Prices are reasonable, with special sushi priced at 2000 yen, premium at 1300 yen, regular at 800 yen, and tuna at 900 yen. It's a retro sushi restaurant that has been around for 35 years.
