I had been thinking of going there for a while, but kept putting it off. It's Mr. Darkolpo. I went there after work. It's a new and stylish place. What should I eat? Chicken dishes are good, but I think I'll go with pasta... no, let's go with pizza. From the daily pizza menu, I chose "Salami and tomato sauce, mozzarella" (1100 yen) and also the homemade Catalana dessert (500 yen). The pizza... while waiting for it to be baked, I was served a salad as a complimentary dish. Yay! It's nice to see such thoughtfulness. The salad was delicious with plenty of cheese and a salty flavor. The pizza had a crispy outer crust and a gooey center. When you pick it up, the toppings may fall off onto the plate, but it's still delicious. The tomato sauce and gooey cheese are the best combination. The salami was also fragrant and tasty. It was quite filling. As for the homemade Catalana dessert... when I tried it, it had a crunchy texture like when eating apples or pears. Wait, did I eat fruit just now? I was momentarily confused. But of course, the taste was Catalana. It melts away in your mouth. It's unique and I really like it. It was quite satisfying with good food at a reasonable price, and I also received various complimentary services. The atmosphere was nice and it was a wonderful restaurant. I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal.

In September 2022, I visited a ramen restaurant called "Nishiya" in the new location in Hanazono to try their rich miso ramen. When I arrived in front of the restaurant, I noticed another unfamiliar restaurant next to it called "Dar Corpo." It seems like they moved from Hanazono's secret base! This is their second relocation, and I had visited them when they were located along the national highway. The lunch menu was limited, with three pasta options and one each of meat and fish dishes. I was intrigued by the meat simmered in a bowl, so I decided to try it. The dish included tender simmered pork and eggplant over rice, which was served with a side salad consisting of broccoli, cherry tomatoes, cream cheese, and endive with a vinegar-like dressing. The dish was delicious, with the tender pork and sautéed eggplant complementing each other well. The rice was freshly cooked, and the sauce had a slightly tangy flavor from the combination of soy sauce and balsamic vinegar. While the restaurant is technically Italian, it gives off a vibe of a casual Western-style pub with reasonable prices. I look forward to trying their Neapolitan next time!
