I came to "Coachan Four Shinkawa Store" after having ramen on a Sunday morning. It had been a while since my last visit. They had a section called "Coachan Four Marche" with a sign saying "Gourmet selected from all over Japan". It seemed to be supervised by the supermarket "Seijo Ishii" which has stores in mainland Japan. They had seasonings, ingredients, and snacks from overseas that you don't often see in Sapporo supermarkets. I found the popular "Kazuchi @432" which was limited to 3 per person. It has a cheese flavor with a crunchy texture, perfect for snacking with alcohol. Although the excitement fades after eating it a few times, they have many unique items so I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Stationery, magazines, miscellaneous goods, CDs, etc., I had the image of a bookstore with a wide range of products. But, surprise surprise, it's actually a market! (*ˊ˘ˋ*) I haven't been here in a while, but I was amazed to see such a variety of food products! It's so bustling here. I was drawn to the world spices! They even have Death Sauce! lol And wow, they have products from Seijo Ishii and all around the world. There are so many different kinds available. I found them a bit pricey, so I opted for a more affordable option - a Korean series microwaveable Yoppogi (not Toppogi) and some ramen. With just water and a microwave, it's ready in 2 and a half minutes for 290 yen. I'll try making it at home, but it looks different from the picture on the package... The taste is like a mix of sweetness and spiciness? Anyway, it's rich and sweet... The ramen was generous in portion and had proper toppings, with a spicy kick. It was around 180 yen. The noodles were chewy. I made a porridge with the remaining broth, rice, and an egg. It's fun to be able to experience flavors from around the world at a bookstore. This market makes me so excited. I wonder what I should try next time. Bon appétit! (*ˊ˘ˋ*)

After nearly 4 years, during a break from posting on Tabelog due to hospital visits, there have been various system changes resulting in unclear ways of reviewing compared to before. In September 2018, "Coachan Formal Shae" opened within Coachan For New Kawaguchi. A friend informed me about it, so I visited with my usual companion. This restaurant is located in the Shinkawa area of Sapporo's Kita Ward, along Shinkawa Street. You can check the exact location on Tabelog. "Coachan Formal Shae" consists of two main sections - one is a select shop for food products from Japan and abroad, and the other is for alcoholic beverages, handled by the well-known high-end select shop "Seijo Ishii." The items are clearly labeled on the shelves to distinguish between the two. Compared to the Munich Hashi store, this New Kawaguchi store has a wider selection and a much larger sales area. The staff mentioned that the products vary by store, adding to their uniqueness. I went there specifically looking for "local sodas from around the country," but the Munich Hashi store had a wider selection (laughs). I bought "Fuji Mountain Ramune" and "Jumbo Ramune." - Fuji Mountain Ramune: Produced by Kimura Beverage Co., Ltd. in Shizuoka Prefecture, 410ml, made with Fuji Mountain perennial water. It has a refreshing taste with a slightly milder carbonation for a ramune, priced at 324 yen (tax included). - Shinshu White Grape Cider: Produced by Kimura Beverage Co., Ltd. in Shizuoka Prefecture, with 10% Niagara fruit juice. It has a slightly stronger carbonation and a great taste of Niagara white grapes. Comes in a screw cap glass bottle, 240ml, priced at 270 yen (tax included). - Shizuoka Musk Melon Cider: Produced by Kimura Beverage Co., Ltd. in Shizuoka Prefecture, with 2% Shizuoka-grown musk melon juice. It has a slightly weaker carbonation and a slightly stronger sweetness, with a somewhat synthetic taste due to the 2% fruit juice content. Comes in a screw cap glass bottle, 240ml, priced at 248 yen (tax included). It's great to be able to enjoy local sodas and ramune from around the country while in Sapporo. Personally, I preferred the "Shinshu White Grape Cider" for its refreshing carbonation that helps beat the summer heat. The taste of Niagara is particularly good. The "Fuji Mountain Ramune" is satisfyingly large due to its jumbo size, perfect for quenching thirst in the heat. I look forward to trying more local sodas in the future. I personally love these kinds of shops. I wonder which local soda I'll try next time. It was delicious, thank you.

After almost 4 years, Foodlog took a break for hospitalizations and came back with various system changes. The way reviews are done now is different from before and there are many unclear points. In August 2018, a new Seijo Ishii store opened in the Cochanfor area of Sapporo. I bought the "Sparkling Wine Box" at the Seijo Ishii store in Munich Ohashi. I received information that the owner of the Seijo Ishii store on Shinkawa Street also bought the same item. The Cochanfor store on Shinkawa Street is the largest in Japan in terms of sales floor area. I visited Seijo Ishii for the first time with my usual companion. This store is located in the Shinkawa area of Kita-ku, Sapporo, along Shinkawa Street. Please check the exact location of the store on Foodlog. The purpose was to buy the limited edition "Sparkling Wine Box" for the store opening. In the Seijo Ishii section, they were selling a limited edition "Sparkling Wine Box" with only 60 bottles available. The range of sparkling wines you could win ranged from Dom Perignon at around 24,000 yen (tax included) to 2,150 yen (tax included). At least, you would win a sparkling wine worth the same amount you paid. There were 22 bottles out of 60 where you could win a sparkling wine worth the same amount you paid. When I arrived at the store, there were only 2 bottles left. I hesitated a bit, but decided to buy both bottles. I thought there was a higher chance of winning a slightly better sparkling wine with one of the bottles. There is a saying that there is luck in leftovers. With that in mind, I opened the bottles after returning home. Louise Destre Brut France Sparkling Wine Alcohol content: 11% A firmly fermented sparkling wine with a dry taste after 9 months of secondary fermentation in the bottle. It has a roundness despite being dry, making it easy to drink. Price: Original price 2,786 yen (tax included) Both bottles turned out to be the same, a sparkling wine worth 2,786 yen each. I paid 2,150 yen each (tax included). In a Japanese sense, this time it felt like a "medium fortune" again. I'm glad I didn't draw "misfortune" (laughs). Since it was equivalent to "medium fortune," I gave it a rating of 3.8, which is like "medium fortune." The luck of leftovers was also just "medium fortune," not great fortune. The dream of Dom Perignon vanished (laughs). I wonder which wine I should choose next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.
