Dinner on the first day of my trip to Hokkaido. Chosen by my junior colleague who works at a beer company. Whenever I come to Hokkaido, I always leave the choice to my junior colleague, and they never disappoint. The raw lamb had no gamey taste at all and was delicious! Not just the lamb, but the side dishes like the bean sprout namul were also tasty.

The thick-cut raw lamb Jingisukan was delicious. The salt Jingisukan was tasty with its special salt sauce. The hormone was tender and had a perfect amount of salt. There was also lamb roll, which was large and had a nostalgic taste.

Igloo! Genghis Khan! The lamb was delicious, especially the salt Genghis Khan that you can only enjoy in Sapporo. All of it was so tasty and easy to eat without any strong flavors. The lamb that came out at the end was also delicious and huge!

It's been a while since my business trip to Sapporo. I've only ever had Genghis Khan at the beer garden before, so I looked for a small restaurant and found this place. There is a counter and three tables for four people, just as I imagined. The thick slices of raw lamb had no smell and were tender and delicious. The salt Genghis Khan, rubbed with salt sauce, is also recommended, eaten with the green onion sauce. The set comes with rice, so I enjoyed having rice while drinking beer. The rice was also cooked deliciously. We visited Hitsuji-en 2nd Shaun in Susukino for the second time with two people. We had raw lamb jingisukan for 850 yen each, lamb chops for 1600 yen, shime noodles for 350 yen, draft beer for 500 yen, makgeolli for 450 yen, and lime sour for 400 yen each. We chose to visit for the second time during our short stay in Susukino because the raw lamb jingisukan had thick, tender, and delicious meat. The lamb chops were also delicious with a nice texture. The shime noodles were good as well. Compared to a certain famous restaurant, the cost performance here is overwhelmingly better! You can't always rely on the ratings on Tabelog. The manager's customer service was also as pleasant as ever.

We went to "Nama Lamb Jingisukan Hitsuji-en 2nd Shaun" in Susukino with two people. We ordered two servings of Nama Lamb Jingisukan for 850 yen each, Salt Jingisukan for 800 yen, Miso Hormone for 500 yen, Shime no Men for 350 yen, two glasses of draft beer for 500 yen each, and Makgeolli for 450 yen. The Nama Lamb Jingisukan was thick, tender, and delicious. We ordered it twice, it was that good! The Shime no Men was also very good. The manager's customer service was super friendly and pleasant.

I went to this restaurant based on a recommendation from an acquaintance! I was amazed by how delicious the lamb meat was. I have been to various Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) restaurants, but the thickly cut lamb meat with a sweet taste was really delicious. They also serve hormone yaki and mutton (maru-jin), so I was very satisfied. If you are in a small group, there is also a counter where you can relax and enjoy your meal. As it gets colder, I will definitely start craving the charcoal grill more and more.

I went to this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend. When you enter, there are counter seats where they bring out a shichirin grill, and beyond the counter, there are table seats in a tatami room. Since there were two of us, we opted for the counter seats and ordered some meat. We ordered the raw lamb shoulder, sliced mutton, Korean seaweed, cheese, and more. The raw lamb was thickly cut and we quickly grilled both sides to enjoy it rare. It had no gamey taste and the richness of the lamb meat spread throughout the mouth. The preparation of the meat showed a serious level of dedication. The mutton was marinated and had the familiar, delicious taste. I've been to various Genghis Khan restaurants, but this one ranks quite high! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I had been interested in and saved a Genghis Khan (Mongolian BBQ) restaurant. When I called to make a reservation at the original location, I was told it was fully booked. However, they could accommodate us at the second location. The staff assured me that the meat quality is the same as at the main store. So, we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the owner warmly welcomed us. They had prepared a sunken kotatsu seating area for us, but unfortunately, I couldn't sit cross-legged due to a leg injury. When I mentioned this to the owner, he kindly switched us to the counter seats. We started with a toast. We ordered draft beer, raw lamb Genghis Khan, salted hormone, assorted vegetables, and kimchi. If you ask, they provide paper aprons. The meat is cooked in the traditional Genghis Khan pot and charcoal brazier style. The raw lamb was thick but tender and juicy. The slightly tangy and soy sauce-based sauce paired well with it. The salted hormone had a strong garlic flavor and was punchy. It had the typical greasiness of pork hormone, but it wasn't overpowering. Customers kept coming in one after another, and by the time we paid, both the counter and sunken kotatsu seats were full. It seems to be as popular as the main store. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and overall, it was a great restaurant experience. Thank you for the meal.

I decided to try the evening drink set. It came with two drinks, raw lamb for two, rice, kimchi, and cabbage. The cabbage and kimchi were served as small side dishes. Since there were no vegetables included, I added some. The lamb was tender and tasty, better than I expected. The sauce was light in flavor, which I found a bit lacking. Overall, I was satisfied with this set, but the rice was terrible. It looked old and had hardened parts, which was disappointing. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant.

I went to see my friend at the restaurant after a long time, but it was closed! So I went to another place and found my friend there! Today, a colleague from Osaka came to audit, so we had a Genghis Khan festival. My colleague said they eat Genghis Khan in Fukuoka and Osaka too, but eating Genghis Khan in Sapporo is exceptional. They were especially impressed by the thickness and tenderness of the meat. They were happy to try the salt flavor and lamb tongue for the first time. Good food and drinks can make you endure anything, right? Lately, I've been going through tough times and didn't feel like going out, but going out and eating delicious food with close friends always lifts my spirits. It was delicious. It's the second party after work, with the guest of honor requesting a meat festival at "Nama Ram Jingisukan Hitsujien 2nd Shaun." The plan is to order small amounts to get through it, haha. Each of us orders a drink and cheers with a "kanpai." For food, we ordered Nama Ram Jingisukan @850 x 2 and Shio Jingisukan @800 x 4, with kimchi on the side. I had been wandering around Hiragishi drinking alone since the evening, so this was my fifth stop at a restaurant. I can't eat that much, so I only tried 1-2 pieces of each dish for a taste test. The Nama Ram Jingisukan was tender and had no strong flavor, especially delicious when grilled quickly and eaten with the sauce. The Shio Jingisukan, which I'm not very familiar with personally, is becoming more common on menus. The meat was also tender and easy to eat, with just the right amount of salt bringing out the flavor of the meat. The taste made me want to come back when I'm more hungry. It's rare to see a "drinking set" at a Jingisukan restaurant, but I'd like to try it if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

The second meetup spot was the Genghis Khan restaurant "Hitsujien 2nd". Eight of us continued from the first spot without anyone dropping out. We waited for about 10 minutes inside the restaurant, chatting away, so it was no problem. We decided to try the unique Hokkaido drink "Naporin Sour"! Cheers~ But when we raised our glasses, no one had a glass in hand, instead there were 8 drinks placed in the center. It seems to be the recent trend at Hokkaido meetups. We've reached the point where even holding a glass is too much trouble. We ordered: Naporin Sour for 420 yen, raw lamb Genghis Khan for 850 yen, and salt Genghis Khan for 800 yen. Cheers! Just a while ago we were eating Genghis Khan at the beer garden, but the raw lamb Genghis Khan at this restaurant in Susukino is a whole different experience! The meat quality is completely different, no gamey taste at all, unlike the previous place. Personally, I would recommend this kind of Genghis Khan to people from outside Hokkaido. The raw lamb is exquisite! The salt Genghis Khan, with its finely cut meat and seasoning, is refreshing. Personally, I prefer the raw lamb! The Naporin Sour is a Hokkaido limited orange-colored carbonated drink. Personally, I like to drink it straight from the bottle like a gulp. Unfortunately, everyone had to catch the last train, so our fun time at the second meetup ended quickly. Although we couldn't see the illumination at Odori Park, seeing Papa-san shining brightly made up for it (laughs). Chibatan is chibitan as always. Yamasan's rapid-fire reviews with zero reviews during the meetup, everyone's consistency was reassuring (laughs). I had raw lamb Genghis Khan and salted Genghis Khan. This was my third stop and everyone ate heartily in a short amount of time, so I'm full. We shared among 8 people. The meat was tender and safe to eat rare, very delicious. I had a Super Dry beer, which was tasty and easy to drink. If you go alone, the evening drink set seems like a good deal with two drinks included. The heat was strong and the smoke and smell were quite intense... The restaurant isn't very big, so the smell lingers. That's the fate of Genghis Khan, haha. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal! ♪

This is a second party after-party. I can't believe the schedule of having kushikatsu, steak for zeroth party, yakitori for first party, and Genghis Khan for second party. Is Hitsuji-en the second place? It's a really small but still a nice place. I managed to sit down after the previous customers left and cleaned up. I ordered a drink. Dad had makgeolli. We ordered an appropriate amount of meat. We started with raw lamb Genghis Khan and salt Genghis Khan, two servings each. It disappeared quickly, so we ordered a little more. The Genghis Khan here is tender and delicious meat! It's best to eat it without overcooking. The sauce was a bit salty with garlic and red pepper added, but I liked this sauce. Before we knew it, it was time for the last train! We hurriedly walked and everyone went home. I'm sure I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal.

2018/12 Sobatchi-kai 2nd party(o’∀`)♪ After returning from the company trip, we had a drinking party at a beer garden with a Mongolian barbecue theme. It was a meat festival with great hospitality. We left the selection of the chicken restaurant to the leader, as usual. The leader also guided us to the restaurant. Although there can be risks in trying new places, this was the second branch so we felt safe. We were tempted by the evening drink set, but decided to order individual items instead. The Jasmine Highball was great and reasonably priced. The appetizer was kimchi for 250 yen. For the meat, we had raw lamb Genghis Khan and salted Genghis Khan, both were delicious and tender. I used to not like lamb meat, but this was really good! I personally preferred the salted Genghis Khan. It was a nice reunion, but we had to leave early for the last train. The remaining members continued on for more Genghis Khan adventures. Thank you for the meal! (^ω^)

I arrived a little late because there was a group reservation until 10 pm. When I called, they said it would be fine to arrive 20 minutes later, but when I got there after 20 minutes, it was fully booked. They told me it was okay if I arrived before the last order time the day before, but it seems a group had already come in today. Asahi Super Dry beer was delicious. The cleanliness of the glasses and the server were good. The sauce had a sharp soy sauce flavor, and the salt seemed to be based on pink salt. I tried the raw lamb jingisukan with the salt sauce. The menu at Shaun's Sheep House 2nd includes raw lamb jingisukan (shoulder loin) for 850 yen, salt jingisukan (shoulder loin) for 800 yen, premium lamb tongue for 930 yen, salt hormone for 500 yen, as well as vegetable dishes, courses, evening drink sets, and side dishes. There were 8 of us, and since everyone was already full, we enjoyed a little bit of meat and one or two drinks each. The order breakdown for jingisukan was 2 orders of raw lamb jingisukan for 2 people, and 2 orders of salt jingisukan for 2 people. The raw lamb jingisukan was milky and tender, with a simple taste of salt that was refreshing. The salt jingisukan also had a delicious flavor without being too salty. Each bite of the jingisukan was tender, with a rich flavor of salt, sesame, and the umami of the meat. The kimchi appetizer was a perfect match for the beer. We used a charcoal grill with slits for the jingisukan pot, and the beer was delicious. The high quality of the jingisukan made me want to try the evening drink set next time, or have a bit more lamb meat. In December 2018, there was a second party at a restaurant called "Nama Lamb Jingisukan Hitsujien 2nd Shaun" in Sendai, where a group of people gathered after a visit from MyRevi. We enjoyed delicious lamb jingisukan, with the salted version being particularly tasty. The smoke ventilation was a bit of a concern, but we made sure not to get pneumonia. It was a great experience overall!

I returned to Hokkaido in December 2018 and went to the third restaurant for a gathering with a handsome guy who lost weight (pseudonym). It's almost 11 PM but we don't care at all (^_^;) They have makgeolli - the charcoal grill is super hot and cooks the meat quickly. This is a big plus! I ordered two servings of raw lamb Genghis Khan, each serving has 4 slices and there are 8 of us. It's thick but tender and delicious, with no strong smell. The sauce is watery. We also had salt Genghis Khan with leek salt sauce, also tender and delicious. You can see the kitchen open and the meat being prepared very carefully. Be careful not to hit your head on the ventilation ducts above the sunken seating area, as they don't suck up the smoke at all. My friend who returned to Hokkaido after a long time and I wanted to drink more, but had to go home on the last train like Cinderella. It was a bit lonely. Thank you for the meal!
