On December 14th, the first "Lindt Chocolat Boutique" in the Hokkaido area opened. Looking at their website, it seems like they have quite a few stores now, so I feel like it took them a while to open in Sapporo considering the size of the city. The store in the underground shopping area "APIA" directly connected to Sapporo Station always has a line at the register, so I thought, "I'll come when it's calmer." After about three months since the opening, on a Saturday afternoon, I passed by and saw that the line was less than 10 people, so I decided to go in. There are a lot of boxed items, but maybe it's better to go for the measured ones? It's 880 yen for 100g, right? Let's put on the plastic gloves and choose. Of course, I'll start with the iconic Lindor chocolates, but if I only choose Lindor, it can get quite heavy, so I included others as well. I bought Lindor in Blood Orange, Pistachio, Stracciatella, Salted Caramel, White, and the seasonal limited edition Sakura & Cream, along with Napoletana Milk Hazelnut, Bastoncino Milk, and the cute HELLO Mini Emotis in three varieties. The total came to 977 yen, so I paid with a little over 1,000 yen. I haven't tried all of them yet, but they are delicious, and the colors of the chocolates are beautiful. The one that left an impression on me was the Lindor Sakura & Cream, a seasonal limited edition chocolate that is currently in season. The white chocolate has strawberry powder, and inside is a pink cherry blossom-flavored filling with a very nice aroma. The Lindor Pistachio was also memorable, with white chocolate containing pistachios inside the milk chocolate, giving off a fragrant and sweet aroma. Overall, I thought Lindor chocolates were enjoyable for their aromas. Also, the expressive HELLO Mini Emotis with five different faces caught my eye, and I ended up buying three because of their expressions (laughs). Inside is milk chocolate. Some stores have cafes attached, although Sapporo doesn't have one. They sell items like fondant chocolate and chocolate drinks. It made me wonder, "Where would I eat and drink?" It's hard to relax in the store... Maybe if they had a few standing tables like at "Venky" in Sapporo Parco, it would be easier to eat in.
