This time, I went to the South 1st Street branch for a leisurely meal with all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes at 800 yen. You can even drink Sapporo Classic at this price, which is unbelievably cheap! There are so many menu options, including crispy kushikatsu. I highly recommend checking out the photos rather than relying on descriptions. I want to go there every day!

I met up with a friend who came from Hakodate for a meal after a long time. They requested an all-you-can-eat and drink restaurant, so I chose "Kin no Viking". The price for the 145 item buffet is 3980 yen per person (excluding tax) for a 120-minute session. I had a bit of "Iburi Gakko Cheese", "Takozangi", "Salmon Belly", and "Grilled Vegetable Skewers", along with a slice of pizza. Most of the food I tried was decent and worth the price. The "Nama Tsukune" had cartilage in it, which I didn't like, but my friend enjoyed it. Overall, the fast drink service made the all-you-can-eat option more cost-effective than ordering individual items. I would like to try a different branch next time for a la carte ordering. The half grilled mackerel was delicious with a good amount of fat. The grilled beef tongue was consistent. The half and half soba was a full serving even for one person. What is the rotating interior like? Tables, semi-private rooms, and raised seating areas. The restroom is also a hidden gem, so you should definitely visit. We chose the "Gold Table Buffet" option. It was different from the "Silver Table Buffet" in terms of crab dishes. We mostly had barley shochu (= ´∀´)ﾉ凵゛ The first 5 dishes were a bit slow. The "Motsu Nabe Shoyu" was Tom's favorite, with thinly sliced beef tripe and a surprisingly small portion for two people. The "Nama Tsukune Shio" was juicy and moist with a strong salty flavor. The "Tsukimi Tsukune" was a salted tsukune with egg yolk and a sweet and salty sauce. The "Umanegi" was green onions with a shallow pickled sauce, perfect for green onion lovers. The "Maitake Sumiyaki" had a crispy texture with no seasoning, just rock salt. The "Suji Nikomi" had chewy tendons and plenty of vegetables, refreshing and delicious. The "Ika Goro Itame" was a stir-fry with a unique flavor of small squid pieces, a bit stingy. The "Kushikatsu" had salmon roe (small...), asparagus (long~~~), and Nakasatsunai chicken (chewy and juicy). The "Sashimi" had Kinzan Shime Saba and salmon, both with a moderate amount of fatty goodness, but I wanted them to be bigger and thicker. The "Salmon Belly Yaki" had a stable texture and fatty goodness. The "Yakitate Tonpei Yaki" had a thick and moist pork meat filling. The "AKY" was probably the most delicious. The "Tsukimi Nama Tsukune Chahan" didn't have raw tsukune but had chicken minced meat in fried rice, perfect for dining alone. It would be nice to have a "Drinking Set" or a "Senbero Set".

I accumulated points on Tabelog, so I decided to use them for a solo drink on a weekday. It's recommended for when you want to drink cheaply, regardless of the taste. The Tsukuchi bombs were delicious. Thank you for the meal! :)

They offer a drink all-you-can with draft beer included for 1042 yen, with no table charge and smoking allowed in private rooms. It's a skewer and tsukune (chicken meatballs) focused restaurant, but they also have a variety of other izakaya dishes like sashimi and karaage, all of which were delicious. I went with my boss so I couldn't take photos, but the prices are reasonable and I would definitely want to come back here.
