On this day, I revisited the Sapporo Dome, which is also the home stadium of Consadole Sapporo, after about 11 years. It was a Saturday, a game day, and I visited around 11:45 before the game started. I was able to purchase jumbo yakitori and draft beer successfully! - Ezo deer skewer ¥800 (tax included) - Sapporo Classic draft beer ¥750 (tax included) As for the taste, the Ezo deer skewer was not freshly grilled, but they lightly seared it when I purchased it. The Ezo deer meat had almost no gamey taste, but a slight hint of a wild animal scent. The meat had a good texture and paired well with the beer! If I have the chance to visit Sapporo again, I plan to visit this place again!

I went to watch a concert match for the first time in 3 years. A record-breaking 18 food trucks gathered at the outdoor gourmet terrace. The weather was nice and many supporters were there. I tried salt yakisoba and chicken tikka. The salt yakisoba used salt from Iwaisaki in Kesennuma, and the noodles were thick and chewy, very delicious. The chicken tikka from Taj Mahal was consistently delicious. Of course, the match was the main event, but these kinds of events are fun and enjoyable!

On the final day of my business trip to Sapporo, I decided to watch a baseball game before catching my flight. I came to Sapporo Dome to see the last game of the season for the Nippon-Ham Fighters. It was a rainy day, but since the game was indoors, it didn't matter. It was my first time at Sapporo Dome and I was amazed by how spacious and clean it was inside, like an airport lobby. I chose seats in the upper deck behind home plate. They were affordable seats but offered a great view of the game, and enjoying a beer while watching baseball was fantastic. I was getting tired and almost fell asleep a few times, but managed to stay awake (laughs) and left the dome around the middle of the 8th inning. It's a shame that the Fighters won't be using this stadium after this year, but I guess it's due to various reasons of the adults. Sapporo Dome is a great stadium where you can watch baseball without worrying about the weather.

Baseball game? I wasn't interested at all, but this year is the last at Sapporo Dome, so I was kind of forced to go. "You can just eat and drink all you want, even without watching the game," they said. So, I decided to give it a try. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from the buffet food, but I wanted to experience having beer poured by the beer-carrying ladies. We entered through a separate gate, avoiding the crowds, and could easily take a taxi back to Susukino from the exclusive exit. The suite seats were a bit far from the players, and I ended up watching the game mostly on the big screen and the monitors in front of the seats. The seats were a bit cramped, making it difficult to move around. The beer was self-serve, with options like Asahi, Super Dry, and Classic from automatic dispensers. However, the food was surprisingly good, with dishes like sea urchin and shark fin soup, shrimp chili, and roast beef. I especially enjoyed the sweet tomatoes and had seconds. The person who got us the seats also has a suite at Escon Field, so I might ask them again next year. Despite the team losing, I found the game surprisingly enjoyable!

I realized that I hadn't posted about the game I attended at Sapporo Dome in June while organizing old photos. It must have been such a shocking game that I forgot about it. It was the interleague game between Nippon-Ham Fighters and Chunichi Dragons on June 10. It was a matchup between the aces, Uesawa and Ohno. It was a great situation to travel all the way to Sapporo Dome. The access from Fukuzumi Station is very convenient from Sapporo, but be aware that there is quite a walk from the station to the seats. Compared to other domes, the design of the dome is futuristic like a spaceship. It was spacious and comfortable. I decided to try Genghis Khan from a shop called "Ooi Hokkaido" since I was there. It was very flavorful and the balance between the firmness and tenderness of the meat was excellent. Just be careful because the soup is quite watery. As for alcohol, various types were sold everywhere, so I was able to enjoy without any stress. I was drinking highball, and the photo got someone in it, so I only have a picture of the shop where I bought it - it was called "Rock'n Roll". The game was disappointing, but the impression of the comfortable and nice stadium remained.

It would be nice if they sold Ham Sandwich or thick-cut Ham Steak at the Sapporo Dome, which is the home stadium of the Nippon-Ham Fighters. However, they do not sell any ham-related items. The prices are about 30% cheaper compared to Tokyo Dome, which is great. Drinking a cola for ¥260 in the pleasant atmosphere of Sapporo Dome somehow tastes delicious.

At the Sapporo Dome during the Nippon-Ham Fighters game, the highlight is choosing gourmet food items produced by the players. You tend to focus on the player-produced gourmet items that are popular on that day. Today's starting pitcher, Uesawa, collaborated with Mos Burger to create a shrimp cutlet yakitori bowl, while the comedy duo Sugitani and Kashiwagi from Kintetsu Nishi High School collaborated on a special drink. It's easy to overspend at the Sapporo Dome during the Nippon-Ham Fighters vs. Giants game.

When going to watch a professional baseball game, you will need to watch baseball for at least three hours, but depending on how the game unfolds, you may get bored and want a little change of pace. In such cases, it can be refreshing to purchase fast food or drinks sold at the venue and eat or drink them. Also, when you see vendors working hard to sell beer or juice, you may feel a parental instinct to "want to buy something" and end up making a purchase. On this day, I bought a carbonated juice. With a strong pitching performance from pitcher Taikai Ito, the team won in a come-from-behind victory. Both my mind and body felt refreshed! Keep up the good work, vendors working hard while sweating!

I went to see the final game between the Fighters and the Lions at the Sapporo Dome before the team moves to their new stadium in 2023. The design of the dome is great and symbolic, and the structure inside is solid. It's a shame to see it fade away like this. It's a classic example of how even with a good exterior, if the content is lacking, it will sink.

I went to Sapporo Dome to support the Nippon-Ham Fighters. I bought some castella as a souvenir for my family from the goods corner. The packaging was easy to understand, with a Fighters theme, making it clear that it was a souvenir from the game. The castella had red bean paste inside and was a light and fluffy texture, not too sweet. It was delicious!

As a Lotte fan, I made my first trip to Sapporo Dome. The game was not great, so I wandered around early. The best thing was that you can buy beer everywhere for 650 yen, and they even have amber beer for 750 yen, which is incredibly cheap for a stadium. I hadn't tried local beer in Sapporo before, but it's surprisingly delicious. Even though it's not my favorite team's home stadium and I don't come here often, I think this place has the best beer. However, it's too crowded to buy beer at your seat.

I purchased a cold draft beer from a beer vendor at the Sapporo Dome. It was surprisingly delicious. I had to register on Tabelog because this place wasn't listed there. It's necessary to have a cold beer until I go to Kitahiroshima in a few years. The Hawks won all three games in this series against the Fighters! Despite being at a disadvantage in the away game, the visitors' cheers were still played at a low volume. The lack of enthusiasm from the Ham Fighters team and the smallness of the Sapporo Dome are disappointing. Thank you for the meal. Thank you for visiting and reading.

It was half price day, so I had the "Consaire". Even though I don't like beer, I found it easy to drink. But I wonder if it might not be satisfying for beer lovers? Also, it has less quantity compared to Classic (the cup is smaller) and it's more expensive than Classic. They use the name "Consa", but is the sales from a third sector? There are various thoughts about this beer. I realized that it was my first alcohol after the head surgery. I wonder if I'm okay...

I have never witnessed a Fighters game and won, am I a jinx? (~_~;) On this day, we lost with a come-from-behind defeat, making so many errors... with such strange strategies, it's no wonder we lost. I'll drown my sorrows in beer from the 5th inning! Whenever the cute sales girls come by, I can't help but buy beer! Oh! This year, the sales girls are back, and they are so cute that I can't resist buying from them. It's a bit expensive at 670 yen, but oh well (^^;) Anyway, thank you for the delicious meal!!! Please play proper baseball next time!

My wife won a pair of "Sweet Seats" tickets in a lottery, which are premium seats with a monitor and all-you-can-eat and drink included. Since she couldn't go due to taking care of our 9-month-old son, I invited a baseball-loving friend from work to go with me. The game didn't go well, with the starting pitcher giving up 6 runs in just 4 innings. But we focused more on the all-you-can-eat and drink buffet, enjoying dishes like roast beef, hamburgers, grilled dumplings, and sausages. The beer selection was great, with classic, dry, and premium options, as well as highballs. The food was delicious, especially the sausages and scallop curry. Overall, it was a fun experience despite the team losing the game.
