At Shirataki Station, I had a 40-minute wait to transfer to the limited express train. There weren't many shops around the station, so I decided to explore a bit. I found a liquor store that also sold a variety of goods like stationery. I bought a bottle of Asahi Super Dry 350ml to enjoy on the train. On the other side of the station, I discovered a direct sales store called "Shirayousha." They sold a variety of products like vegetables, ice cream, deli items, bread, and homemade sausages. I purchased their "rice seasoning with chicken and burdock," "homemade sausage (chorizo)," and a "kurokke" (croquette). The kurokke took about five minutes to fry, and it was served to me wrapped in newspaper for takeaway. The small black croquette made with Shirataki-grown potatoes was delicious, with a soft potato filling and flavorful pork. The black color may come from bamboo charcoal. Although the 150 yen price for the kurokke seemed a bit high, it was tasty. I will update on the other products as I try them.

Today I purchased a mixed rice seasoning made with Shiretoko chicken from Hokkaido. The seasoning comes in a canned type, just mix it with 2 cups of hot rice. It can be used for breakfast or lunch bento boxes, and still tastes delicious even when cold.

Today I bought canned mixed rice seasoning for home use. Just mix it with 2 cups of rice. It contains Hokkaido burdock, which goes well with beef. Great for onigiri or lunch bento.

There was a white canned food in the pantry (#^.^#) I wonder what this "takomeshi" white willow cottage rice seasoning is for? Hmm, I think someone gave this to me... Looks delicious! Tonight's dinner will be this. I mixed it with cooked rice, cooked it together, and of course, cooked it in. I washed 2 cups of rice, adjusted the water, then added the whole can. Oh! Of course, the rice is "Tsubusuke" from Chiba Prefecture. Turn on the cooking mode! Ready in 77 minutes. The octopus and kelp are from Shiretoko. Oh, it's so delicious!

"Lazy Bamboo Shoot Rice Seasoning" by Byakusha Last Sunday, the weather was so nice, I wish it was like that when I went hiking on Mt. Shari the week before. Luckily, my wife had a day off on Sunday, while I usually have to work on my golf days. Today, she planned to go on a garden tour in Asahikawa. It's July, but the weather is surprisingly good. On our way, we stopped at Toikanai Road Station for a toilet break. It was quite crowded, as expected. My wife asked me to guess what she was holding, and it turned out to be a can of "bamboo shoot rice seasoning." I didn't know you could write on it, but she bought it anyway, saying there was a direct sales store. After waiting for a while, she finally revealed the contents of the can, which included carrots and green beans. It looked a bit sad, like something a junior chef would send over during work via LINE. She asked if I wanted to heat it up, so I did, and the aroma was surprisingly pleasant. When I started eating, I found the flavor to be quite refined, with a subtle broth taste that wasn't very pronounced. The bamboo shoots didn't stand out as much as I expected. For dinner, we compared both versions, and the original one had a more direct broth taste, while the one with added ingredients was more subtle. The one with added ingredients may have diluted the flavor a bit too much. Mixing in half sticky rice was a good choice, as it made the rice even more delicious. Overall, the quality of these kinds of products has improved a lot recently, and this one turned out to be a really tasty rice dish."
