kimumiyu
Near the city hall, there was a cafe bar that I had never visited before. No wonder it was closed when I went last month. I visited alone on a weekday. I had a set meal with soup, two side dishes, and a drink for 1,300 yen. There is no parking lot, so I wasn't sure how crowded it would be, but the counter was empty when I entered, so I took a seat. There are also table seats behind the counter and two table seats in the back. The water is self-serve. The set meal was a Korean dish called Kuppa, which combines soup and rice. It was my first time trying it. The Kuppa and side dishes change daily, sometimes spicy and sometimes not. I asked the Korean mama working there if it was a spicy day, and she said it wasn't. Later, I noticed a blackboard menu next to me. They also plan to offer dishes like stone bibimbap, kimbap, and cold noodles in the future. On this day, the vegetable Kuppa was served in a hot pot, and it stayed hot until the end. I blew on it and ate. The ingredients included shiitake mushrooms, carrots, onions, bell peppers, and a gentle broth. They told me to add rice to the soup at the end, and I finished it. Then, two side dishes arrived. The Chijimi was chewy and sweet and spicy Tteokbokki was chewy and delicious. For an extra 200 yen, you can get a larger size set meal with a small female-sized hot pot. They also have spicy ramen. The mama is fluent in Japanese as she teaches English and Korean. She runs the shop as an independent contractor, so the name of the shop remains SUN. She seems busy working alone, so I only asked a few questions. Thank you for the meal.
