Sapporo Chuo-ku, Cafe Ichiraku no Mugi ◆ Order ✔️ Blend Coffee 550 x 2, Michimichiho Ya "Yonohikari", Little Fort Coffee Guatemala (Deep) ✔️ Rum Raisin and Nut Zucotto 700 x 1 ◆ Impression: Lovely exterior. Stylish interior. Beautiful glasses. "Hmm, this is a nice place," I said, and then the Zucotto arrived, looking beautiful ✨✨ [Zucotto] The main feature of this dessert is the semifreddo. It arrives semi-thawed, allowing you to enjoy watching it melt. The taste gradually changes as well. When you scoop it with a spoon, it still feels firm. As you bring it to your mouth, you taste the rich flavor of mascarpone (which changes as it melts). The rum-flavored rich raisins. Combined with the sponge, it creates a sense of unity. "To put it plainly, it's absolutely delicious!!" It was my first time experiencing Zucotto, and I was amazed. The two of us quickly finished it. The specialty blend coffee was also very delicious, each with its own story, but on this day, Zucotto completely captivated my heart. I later researched its history, was even more amazed, and wanted to eat it again. Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much. ◆ Side note: Zucotto, or Zuccotto, originated in Florence, Italy during the Renaissance period, and its history is fascinating. It was created by Buontalenti, the inventor of the newly developed "food freezing technology," for the Medici family. This kind of technology was passed on from the Medici family to France, influencing the development of one of the prototypes of ice cream. What an interesting anecdote. The concept of cutlery was also introduced during this period, so when you think about it, Zucotto is a remarkable food with a rich history. However, compared to desserts like Tiramisu, the production process is more complex and time-consuming, so it was rarely made at home even in its place of origin. That's why I have great respect for Cafe Ichiraku no Mugi for serving such a dish. Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much.
