When entering the store, I felt a bit out of place among the 100% female customers. However, as male solo customers started to come in one by one and fill up the empty counter seats, I felt relieved. The menu had some important notes written on it, which I found to be very informative. The interior of the shop, filled with calming melodies, exuded a sense of sophistication. It was easy to see why this place was popular, with high-quality coffee and desserts. I ordered the Yonohikari hot coffee, which had a soft bitter taste with a hint of sweetness, leaving a rich aftertaste on my tongue. The cup and saucer were beautifully designed, showing attention to detail. I wanted to try the Zucotto dessert, but unfortunately, it was not available on the days I visited. So, I decided to try the Dekopon Panna Cotta, which was presented like a three-tiered bed. The top layer had Dekopon, the middle layer was Panna Cotta, and the bottom layer was agar jelly. The first bite was delicious, and as I continued to eat, I found it to be incredibly tasty. The Panna Cotta had a surprising volume, with plenty of Dekopon mixed in, providing a satisfying texture and flavor. The sweetness of the Panna Cotta was just right, and the middle layer was particularly delicious, leaving me with a high score experience of taste and texture. The restaurant is located at Pacific Minami 2-jo 1F, Minami 2-jo Nishi 13-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido.

Pudding Cake a la Mode ¥800, Peach Panna Cotta with Fruit Punch ¥900, Cafe au Lait Float ¥800, Furano Melon Cream Soda ¥800. Starting from today, August 8th, One Grain of Wheat celebrates its 1st anniversary with special menu items. I love the Pudding Cake and Peach Panna Cotta, which have been dressed up for the anniversary. Both of these were the first things I tried when I first visited, so it's special to be able to enjoy them again for the anniversary. The fruit-filled version was extra cute and delicious. The Furano Melon Cream Soda had plenty of melon chunks, and you could really taste the deliciousness of the melon. The Cafe au Lait Float, one of my favorites, had coffee jelly in it and was generously topped. I also got a cute brooch to take home. The interior of the shop was filled with various artworks related to the shop, creating an exciting and fun atmosphere. The lovely staff always see you off all the way outside. It's a wonderful place that I want to keep visiting.

Blueberry Victoria cake ¥700 Seasonal fruit panna cotta ¥700 Seasonal fruit cream soda ¥800 I didn't visit for a while and the menu has completely changed to summer items. The panna cotta has been switched to strawberry since last weekend. It's a creamy panna cotta with a two-layer of jelly and creamy texture. Both the jelly and panna cotta were so delicious that I finished them in no time. The new Victoria cake that started this week is amazing with a rich buttery aroma. The butter cake is fragrant and delicious, one of my favorites! I chose the cream soda over the new red shiso squash, as I'm not a fan of shiso. Looking forward to trying out how many types of cream soda they will have this year. Even though I was already full, everything was so delicious and it was a happy time. I noticed they have coffee jelly in the cafe au lait float that I always drink, and I'm curious to try that too! I want to try the toast, cassata, and there are still so many things I'm interested in.

Café au lait float ¥800, Butter Cake with Amakusa Oranges ¥700, Cheese Toast ¥700. The Butter Cake with Amakusa Oranges started on May 16th, along with the Peach Pine Panna Cotta. I couldn't decide between the two, but ended up choosing the Butter Cake. The moist cake had a rich buttery aroma and the sweet and slightly bitter scent of Amakusa oranges was delicious. I also had the Cheese Toast on the same day. I debated whether to add toppings, but decided to enjoy the simplicity of just the cheese. The generous amount of cheese melted and stretched, and the toast was soft and chewy with a nice bounce, making it very tasty! I might try the red bean butter next time.

Finally, at the end of March when work finally settled down, I was able to go eat the weekday limited toast. I was torn between the five types of toast, but I started with the Croque Monsieur! Thickly topped with white sauce and fragrant cheese, the toast had a chewy wheat sweetness, subtly packed with lots of ham - each bite was amazing. I wanted to have cake this time, so I didn't go for the plate option, but for only an additional ¥200, you get a salad and two side dishes - isn't that a great deal? I hadn't tried it yet, so I went for the White Chocolate Gateau Chocolat. It had a milky aroma of white chocolate, not too sweet, and despite having a float, I devoured it in no time! I aim to conquer all the toast varieties, so I want to keep coming back in the future.

Quiche Plate ¥800, Baked Cheesecake with Matcha and Black Beans ¥700, Matcha Tiramisu ¥700, Yonohikari ¥550. I finally had the chance to go eat toast on a weekday night, but right before work ended, they were sold out... However, I tried the cakes and new quiche instead. The quiche had rape blossoms, bamboo shoots, and shrimp, with lots of cheese and a great texture from the bamboo shoots. The matcha tiramisu was fluffy and melted in the mouth, so delicious that I could eat it endlessly. The baked cheesecake with black beans had a nice texture from the beans. Everything was delicious and amazing. Work has been busy towards the end of the fiscal year, so I might not have a chance to go eat toast in March. I was disappointed that they were sold out this time, but I hope to find a chance to go back and eat there again!

I managed to slip in on the last day for the lemon cake! Along with the new quiche that started, the quiche had plenty of ingredients like broccoli, bacon, shimeji mushrooms, bell peppers, etc. The bacon was crispy and full of flavor, the cheese was stretchy, and the quiche was delicious. It came with three types of salad, which was a nice touch. The lemon cake was sweet and sour, with a fluffy sponge. I hope they make it a regular item because it was so delicious. I've been in the mood for floats since going to Nagoya, so despite the cold, I tried the cafe au lait float for the first time. I also got a sneak peek at next month's menu, and I will definitely be going back because the lineup is so appealing.

I finished buying the pie and my takeout exploration for the day is complete! This time, I bought more souvenirs than usual. Now, I'm heading to my next destination, "Hitotsubu no Mugi" restaurant. Originally, I planned to visit next month, but considering that the dinner restaurant is very close to Sapporo Station, and there was a risk of the menu I wanted being sold out, I changed my plans to this month. I checked their Instagram and fell in love with a certain limited-time product. When I arrived at the restaurant, there was only one table and about three counter seats available. Within 10 minutes of me entering, the place was full. It's popular even before six months have passed. When I thought I could wait for 30 minutes, I was lucky to be seated immediately without any wait. I ordered the limited-time cake "Victoria Carrot Cake (¥700)" and a drink, "Stem Hojicha (¥500)". The other limited cakes were "Lemon Cake" and "Baked Cheesecake with Sweet Potato". Let me briefly describe the Victoria Carrot Cake I had. It combines the popular "Victoria Cake" with the flavor of carrots in a cake. The texture of the cake was amazing with finely packed carrot fibers in the layers, and the addition of raisins for a hint of sourness, nuts for crunchiness, without overpowering the carrot flavor. The cake had a hint of cinnamon and a nice balance of flavors. The moist and fluffy texture of the cake, along with the burst of carrot flavor with every bite, was truly delightful. The cream cheese frosting and homemade jam made with carrots and apples added even more depth to the flavor. The jam had a soft texture with a strong carrot taste, and the apple's acidity at the end was a nice touch. The frosting was smooth with a hint of fresh sourness, likely from lemon juice. The warm Stem Hojicha was a bit sweeter than regular hojicha, with a refreshing bitterness that lingered in the throat. It was also delicious. The popular drinks are coffee and cream soda, but I recommend trying other beverages as well. The friendly and welcoming male staff members added to the pleasant atmosphere of the place, making it even more popular. I will definitely order coffee next time I visit and think about what to pair it with. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The Victoria cake is made with a crispy sponge filled with plenty of nuts, raisins, bright red Kyoto carrots, apple jam, and cream cheese frosting. It tastes delicious, like carrot cake! The baked cheese cake is smooth and creamy, with a gentle sweetness from sweet potatoes. It also has plenty of candied chestnuts, perfect for chestnut lovers. After the New Year, the Victoria cake and baked cheese cake will continue to be available, with regular carrots instead of Kyoto carrots and without candied chestnuts.

I love apple desserts. Or rather, I love apples. I recently realized that it's not the pie I love, but the apples in it (who knew). So, I was curious about this place where they had Tart Tatin. I had been wanting to try it ever since I saw it on Instagram. Even though it was a bit late, there were still plenty left. It was overflowing with apples, which made me, an apple lover, very happy. The sweetness was just right, and the creamy topping was milky and delicious. However, the true taste and texture of the apples were somewhat diminished, so I started to wonder if Tart Tatin really fits my taste preferences. (I can almost hear someone saying, "Just eat the apple whole"). As for the coffee at Kuro Neko, they said it's known for having low acidity and a strong bitterness, so I went with their recommendation. It did have a strong bitterness, but it smoothly faded away, making it easy to drink. Even when it cooled down, the acidity didn't increase, and it had a robust flavor. I was satisfied after finally getting to try the Tart Tatin, but in my opinion, the best cafe experience is when you can get coffee and dessert for under 1000 yen in terms of cost-effectiveness. Overall, I felt like it was a bit more expensive, maybe around 100 yen more. But I understand! The staff were very polite and welcoming, making the experience very pleasant!

Pumpkin sweet red bean soup for ¥950. I was looking forward to trying it and thought it might be impossible since they only serve 5 portions a day. But when I saw on their Instagram story that they still had some left, I rushed over and was able to enjoy it! The hot and fluffy red beans, each one with a nice texture, were a delight for bean lovers. The chewy pumpkin dumplings were so satisfying. The mochi and pumpkin were delicious too, and I savored each bite slowly. It also came with stem roasted green tea and pickled kelp. Ordered cream soda and pudding cake. Both were close but not quite there. The atmosphere and the staff were very good, so it seems like this place will become popular in the future. The ice cream in the cream soda was the usual kind, and I felt there was something lacking in the whipped cream. I finally got to try the pumpkin baked cheesecake and the panna cotta that is only available on Fridays and Saturdays. The smooth cheesecake had slices of pumpkin in it, allowing you to enjoy pumpkin in different forms. The red bean paste served on the side had whole red beans in it, which was unique and delicious. I savored each bite slowly because I didn't want it to end. The panna cotta this time was prune flavored, and even though it was a large portion, the soft and mellow taste was so delicious that it disappeared quickly. The cream soda, also prune flavored, had a beautiful red color. It tasted sweeter and more sour than the panna cotta. It's always fun to chat with the staff before leaving the shop, adding to the enjoyment of the visit. We even talked about wanting to try their zenzai next time. The combination of chewy pumpkin dumplings and red bean paste is really good, right?

As you bring it to your mouth, you taste the rich flavor of mascarpone (which changes as it melts). The rum-flavored rich raisins. Combined with the sponge, it creates a sense of unity. "To put it plainly, it's absolutely delicious!!" It was my first time experiencing Zucotto, and I was amazed. The two of us quickly finished it. The specialty blend coffee was also very delicious, each with its own story, but on this day, Zucotto completely captivated my heart. I later researched its history, was even more amazed, and wanted to eat it again. Thank you for the meal. The concept of cutlery was also introduced during this period, so when you think about it, Zucotto is a remarkable food with a rich history. However, compared to desserts like Tiramisu, the production process is more complex and time-consuming, so it was rarely made at home even in its place of origin. Cafe Activity٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و This is a newly opened cafe that opened last month. They used to operate in a few places by renting space, but now they have finally opened their own physical store! The location is near Nishi 11-chome, close to the Pamyur International Building. There is no parking lot, so I parked at a nearby parking lot and visited. This shop is known for serving delicious drinks and sweets. They have 6 different types of sweets, all of which look delicious and it's hard to choose! I decided to go with the popular pudding cake that I often see on various followers' Instagram accounts. For my drink, I chose the plum squash. The pudding cake has two layers, with sponge cake at the bottom and pudding on top. This is new! I've never seen anything like it before! It's delicious on its own, but when you pour the caramel sauce that comes with it, the slight bitterness adds to the flavor. The whipped cream and cherry on top are also nice touches. The plum squash is a refreshing drink with a good amount of carbonation that is perfect for my body after a night shift. The warm atmosphere created by the two staff members and the overall cozy feel of the shop, with a hint of nostalgia, creates a wonderful retro space! Despite being a new shop, it feels very calming! It was delicious(*´ㅂ`*)♥ I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I visited around 6:00 pm and there were 4 groups of customers before me and 1 group after me. The age group seemed to be in their 20s to 40s. Unfortunately, the peach panna cotta I wanted was sold out, so I chose the August limited edition tiramisu and a blend coffee instead. The tiramisu had the best texture and was delicious. It was so good that I wanted to go back the next day. The blend coffee had a well-balanced bitterness that I enjoyed. The cafe interior was cozy, clean, and had a nice sense of style. The owner was also a wonderful person to chat with. It was a great experience.

Snack time at 3 o'clock on a certain day in August. After having lunch nearby with my husband, we went to "Kissa Ichiraku," a cafe that has finally opened its own store after operating as a pop-up cafe for some time. Congratulations! The main attractions are delicious coffee and homemade sweets. This time, we shared the most popular pudding cake between the two of us, which we hadn't tried before. The firm pudding with caramel sauce soaked sponge had a good balance. Our drinks were iced cafe au lait and cold brew iced coffee. They were refreshing with a nice bitterness, perfect for a hot day. The interior of the cafe had a nostalgic Showa-era coffee shop atmosphere, making it a cozy place to hang out. This area has many cafes, so it seems fun to go cafe hopping on days off. I heard that it tends to be crowded during the day, but relatively calm at night, so I'd like to visit for a night cafe experience next time. The cafe "Hitotsubu no Mugi" opened on August 8th. I was interested in trying their coffee, but I wanted to have a cream soda before the end of summer. They had melon, peach, and blueberry flavors available. I chose the peach cream soda, which had peach chunks in it and a slightly fizzy soda with vanilla ice cream, very delicious. There were too many cakes I wanted to try, so I ended up sharing three different kinds with someone. The pudding cake was a mix of firm pudding and sponge cake, very tasty with caramel sauce. The tiramisu had a bitter cocoa aroma and a fluffy texture, a delicious cake. The peach panna cotta was surprisingly large with plenty of peaches and a jiggly panna cotta that was refreshing and easy to eat. When I stopped by after work, the atmosphere was relaxing and very nice. I look forward to trying their coffee next time.
