In Oozora Town, you can get a lunch tendon for 650 yen! It comes with only 2 shrimp, seaweed, eggplant, and squid, so it may seem a bit lacking, but for 650 yen, it's quite satisfying. Since there were no other customers, it took about 15 minutes from ordering to being served, as they were busy frying the tempura fresh. The tempura was crispy and delicious. I also got a takeout of a large sushi roll for 2300 yen. They put it in a bucket to avoid extra charges for the box. It looked beautiful and was very filling. The sushi rice had a nice strong vinegar flavor, which I enjoyed.

Sushi restaurant "Sushi no Koseki" November 2022. What I can do now is to support food and beverage establishments by being careful enough. Let's all do our best! Today, I went to "Sushi no Koseki" for a revenge visit after crying when the soba restaurant I wanted to go to last time was temporarily closed. Takeout and delivery available. Located in Obihiro City, Oozora-cho, near Oozora Junior High School special support class and next to Yellowstone. The exterior is a two-story residential building with a dignified reddish-brown wall on the first floor. The interior is cozy with currently 5 counter seats and 2 small raised table seats for 4 people each. The prices have increased a bit, but all the menu items are quite reasonable. I ordered the highest-priced item, the "Namanori Maki" for 2,300 yen (tax included). It's the biggest Namanori Maki I've ever had, maybe about the size of a fist. And you can take another one home! The sushi rice is slightly vinegary, the roll is firm, and it's filled with plenty of toppings, including my favorite sea urchin. It's delicious, but this amount can get a bit overwhelming. By the time I finished eating, the chef asked me if I ate all of it and praised me (or maybe he was surprised). Even though the price has gone up a bit, the lunch sushi is only 650 yen. I will definitely come back to eat sushi again. I was planning to visit Showa coffee shop "Barun" in Oozora, but it was closed (T_T). Thank you for the meal! Sushi no Koseki Takeout available, delivery available Business hours: 11:30-14:00, 16:00-22:00 Closed on Wednesdays

I visited Sushi Koseki for the first time! I had been wanting to go there for a while. It is located at the edge of Oozora Danchi, next to a café. I went for lunch. The chef and his wife were there. The lunch menu had two options: raw chirashi and tempura bowl. I chose the raw chirashi. It was served in about 7 minutes. The chirashi looked great with fresh and lively toppings like octopus, squid, and mackerel. The rice was also delicious with a good amount of vinegar. I was very satisfied. Oh, I wonder how much it costs? The bill was 650 yen including tax. That's cheap!! I'm definitely going to become a regular customer. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I discovered a shop right next to the Showa coffee shop I visited yesterday. I confirmed by phone that it was okay to have lunch before visiting the shop for the first time. Sushi restaurant "Koseki" at 11:45. No customers before or after. The exterior and interior of the shop give off a vibe of having been in business for a long time. Inside, there are 5 counter seats and table seats on a raised platform. I was surprised by the menu – it's very reasonable. I couldn't help but comment on how cheap it was, to which the owner replied, "It's just that the city is expensive." I ordered the "Premium Sushi Set" for 1,300 yen (excluding tax). While chatting with the owner, the sushi was served in about 10 minutes. The sushi included Thai snapper, red tuna, shrimp, surf clam, surprisingly tender scallop, crab, salmon roe, cucumber roll, and spicy tuna roll. The vinegar in the rice and the firmness of the sushi were excellent, making it delicious. However, for someone like me who is not a fan of spicy food, the wasabi was a bit too strong. It might be a good idea for those who are not fond of spiciness to ask for less wasabi beforehand. The lunch bowl menu is only 550 yen, which is incredibly reasonable. This sushi restaurant is so affordable that I can visit it regularly. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

I use their lunch menu. It's the best value for 650 yen. The mother is really wonderful.
