First day of business trip in Sapporo. Had a dinner meeting with business partners at 52 Pocha (O-ee Pocha). Located at Minami 5-jo Nishi 2-chome, it's easily accessible from Toyohira Susukino Station and Susukino Station. 52 Pocha is a Korean restaurant that just opened in November 2022. Run by a couple who immigrated from Korea, the owner trained in Tokyo before opening this place. In Korean, 5 is "O" and 2 is "ee". Pocha refers to street stalls or izakayas, so with a Korean twist, it became O-ee Pocha. The colorful and cute facade is eye-catching. Instead of the usual "irasshaimase", the greeting here is "Ososseyo", which adds to the fun atmosphere. The large TVs on each floor play K-pop music videos, and the neon signs and Korean posters create a lively ambiance. The first floor has a designated smoking area, which was well-designed even though I don't smoke. The restaurant has around 60 seats on the first and second floors, and we were the first customers that day. When we pressed the call button on the table, a staff member greeted us with "Yogiyo", which made us all laugh. The menu features classic dishes like Samgyeopsal along with a variety of Korean home-style dishes. Here's what we ordered: - Mipanchan: Quail eggs, sweet potato stew, lotus root salad, served as a starter. - Samgyeopsal: Thick-cut pork belly grilled at the table, served with lettuce wraps, kimchi, bean sprouts, onions, salad, sesame salt sauce, ssamjang, chopped chili, and garlic. The portions were generous and delicious. - Mandu: Korean-style dumplings served with dipping sauce. - Honey Mustard Chicken: Crispy chicken pieces with honey mustard sauce and salad. - Rice Cake Cheese Balls: Cute and tasty rice cake balls. - Rapokki: Tteokbokki with ramen noodles, a popular dish in Sapporo. - Japchae: A luxurious dish with plenty of ingredients. - Nira Chijimi: Crispy Korean chive pancake. - Bibimbap: A satisfying bowl of mixed rice with vegetables and a fried egg on top. - Samgyetang: A hearty chicken soup with tender chicken pieces. - 2 Draft Beers: Enjoyed with the meal. Overall, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was friendly. Definitely a great spot for Korean cuisine in Sapporo.

Sapporo Chuo-ku/Susukino Oi Pocha Hashiru GO Sake 2◆Order✔️Beer 660✔️Chamisul Muscat 1100✔️Tteokbokki 800✔️Japchae 720Otosshi 440×2 Service charge 5% Total 4368The beer is Perfect Suntory. The glass is small, but the thin rim of the glass makes it delicious to drink. Chamisul is served with water and carbonated in a kettle. It's kind of cute. My friend seemed to like the Muscat flavor of this and was enjoying it. The otosshi consisted of three items, each one carefully prepared and delicious. Quail eggs, spicy konjac, and lotus root salad. The tteokbokki has just the right amount of spiciness and a chewy texture that becomes addictive. The japchae uses thick spring noodles, providing a satisfying bite. A stylish and delicious restaurant that also offers good value for course meals! Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much.

We went with two friends at 1:30 in the middle of the night because they are open until 5 am every day except Sundays. They offer all-you-can-drink which is great for those who love alcohol. The Samgyeopsal, Namul, and Jjim were all delicious and very filling. The photo is of Mandu, which is like Korean dumplings. If I had been more hungry, I would have liked to try Bibimbap too. The exterior and interior are filled with a Korean vibe, so I think Korean enthusiasts would enjoy it.

It was delicious. I had samgyeopsal and the staff cooked it for us. Thank you. The naengmyeon was also delicious. I ordered a bit too much. The portion was quite large, so I realized it's better to consider the quantity when ordering.

52 Pocha / Oi Pocha Otoshi 440 yen Nomihoudai 1500 yen Service charge 441 yen Bossam 1650 yen Namul 680 yen A restaurant that my friend wanted to go to ❤️ This was my second time here ❤️ The Namul was delicious, my friend even ordered seconds of it ❤️ The burdock salad that came as an appetizer was also delicious ❤️ The Bossam was also very tasty - I ate it with the spicy sauce and it was the best ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The spicy sauce from Oi Pocha is the best ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I heard you can buy it at YES Mart, I definitely want to get some ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Last time was very comfortable, but this time, maybe because of the heavy snow outside, the heating was too strong, blowing hot air and making it uncomfortably hot, I started feeling unwell, I'm not good with hot places, it was too hot, my friend started feeling sleepy and had to fight against drowsiness, so cute and weak against alcohol ❤️ The staff were also very friendly ❤️ It was delicious ❤️ Thank you for the meal ❤️ Yes ❤️ A bar-hopping on a snowy day ❤️ I wanted to use the GOTAXi coupon but couldn't find it, so we ended up going to two places and then went home ❤️

The name of the restaurant is "Korean Izakaya 52 Pocha ~Oii Pocha~" located at 1-7 Minami 5 Jonishi 2-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. The atmosphere is like a stylish Korean food stall. I ordered Seoul Makgeolli, a gentle and slightly sour drink that reminds me of sweet sake. The staff recommended mixing beer with Makgeolli, and it turned out to be delicious. The Kimchi assortment was fresh and tasty, with cucumber, Chinese cabbage, and radish. The appetizers included oyster kimchi, spicy burdock salad, and spicy black konjac, which were perfect for snacking. Overall, the atmosphere and staff at Oii Pocha were great, and I would like to visit again when I have a bigger appetite.

A new Korean izakaya has opened on the 1st floor facing Minami 5-jo Street in Chuo-ku, Sapporo. We started with eel, then checked out the new lounge or small izakaya, followed by a new bar, and a new ramen shop. We even had ramen as our final dish. We were led here by our familiar reviewer, where the former casual steakhouse Picanha used to be located. The neon sign with vibrant colors caught our attention. The name "52 Pochapocha" means "drinking stall" in Korean, located at Minami 5-jo Nishi 2-chome. It was around 4 o'clock, and we could see inside through the glass windows. The staff assured us that it was okay to enter even though it was close to last order. The interior had shiny round tables and chairs with colorful neon signs, creating a lively Korean atmosphere. They served us Makgeolli in aluminum cups, which was easy to drink with a mild sweetness. When we mentioned adding beer to Makgeolli, the staff brought us a pitcher of beer, saying it was their first time hearing about this combination. The staff seemed to have a great service spirit, possibly even the owner. We tried the Gobo salad as a starter, followed by a kimchi platter with well-fermented varieties. The kimchi had a deep flavor profile with spiciness, umami, and acidity, reminiscent of authentic Korean taste. The owner learned the trade at a Korean izakaya in Tokyo before opening this place. I'm curious about their other menu items and plan to revisit soon. Oh, and this place is non-smoking, with a designated smoking area to enjoy your meal and drinks without any smoke nuisance.

After Pikkan'ya, we went to a trendy Korean-style restaurant with neon lights. I enjoyed a Blue Highball without paying much attention to Makgeolli or Chamisul. The appetizer was a selection of three types of pickles. I ordered crispy mashed potatoes, which were quite crunchy. They also brought out a super spicy sauce as a service. I really enjoyed eating it all. My companion, on the other hand, found the sauce extremely spicy. The staff was very friendly, quickly bringing us a basket for our belongings. They seemed to really like Korean culture. The atmosphere was lively with a live monitor showing something quietly. Oi Po Cha is a casual dining bar with food priced around 1000 yen, which is not exactly like a street food stall but seems to offer generous portions like in Korea. There are many Instagrammable spots, and the restaurant even has a smoking booth, which is quite modern. I would like to try something more filling next time. Thank you for the meal!

Today is the pre-opening day! Appetizers come with 3 dishes for 440 yen, which seems like a good deal haha. There's sliced lotus root mixed with mayonnaise, it's just lotus root but has a nice crunch so it doesn't disappear quickly haha. Seasoned quail eggs and sweet potato simmered in syrup are also delicious. Korean-style dumplings, Mandu, are 780 yen (5 pieces). They are steamed dumplings and have an interesting shape. The seasoning isn't strong, but it goes well with the sauce and tastes really good. A plate of assorted Namul costs 680 yen, which is rare to find haha. I love it (*^^*) I mix and eat the Totoron without hesitation! It's enough to eat with rice alone (^^) Rice isn't on the menu, but you can ask for it. I ordered the Nira Chijimi for 780 yen. It's a big Chijimi. I like the seasoning as it is, it's good on its own (^o^) Of course, it's delicious. I eat it with the same vinegar soy sauce as the dumplings haha. My stomach is full (sweat). I'm glad I didn't order the Bulgogi (^_^;) But, I couldn't resist trying the Shin Ramen for 580 yen (*^^*) It was the Korean Shin Ramen, not the spicy ramen haha. Maybe I should have ordered the Naengmyeon instead? (sweat) The drinks are a bit expensive. Since it includes tax, it feels even more expensive (sweat). The restaurant is two stories high, with stairs towards the back instead of the odd stairs in the previous layout. But the stairs are still steep and make you dizzy haha (*^^*) There are square tables on the second floor and round tables on the first floor. Maybe because it's the pre-opening, almost all the female customers were speaking Korean (^_^;) I have no idea what "Totoron" means haha. It seems like a place where lots of Japanese and Korean girls will gather (*^^*)
