I stayed late into the night and the food, from the main dishes to the desserts, was delicious! Furthermore, the master and the staff were kind and wonderful!! It was a shame that the hamburgers were sold out and I couldn't try them, but everything else was so delicious that I will definitely go back next time!

I heard that there is a delicious Western-style restaurant in Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, so I decided to visit. Here is what I ordered: - Mel's Meat Spaghetti ¥1,600 - Crispy Cheese Natto ¥500 - Plump Ebi Mayo ¥750 - Mel's Original Salad (2-3 servings) ¥650 - Spicy Lamb Wiener ¥750 - Addictive Chiki Chiki Fried Chicken ¥600 - Demi Cheese Hamburg ¥1,300 - Natto Omelette with Nori Cream Sauce ¥650 - Prosciutto and Avocado Tartare ¥650 - Crispy Honey French Toast ¥700 The food was truly delicious as rumored. Everything I ate was delicious and I couldn't stop eating. As always, the all-you-can-drink option (¥2,000/2h) was a great choice, as the alcohol went down smoothly. I drank too much and ended up falling asleep for the first time in a while, haha. That's how good the food and drinks were. The interior of the restaurant is cute and stylish. Visited the restaurant around 6 pm on a weekday in late March. Compared to last December, there were significantly fewer Chinese tourists causing disturbances due to the Wuhan virus, making the walk through Tanukikoji Shopping Street much more pleasant. It seems like the rent in this area is relatively cheaper, allowing for a variety of unique dining options. I discovered some interesting restaurants that I would like to visit next time I'm in Sapporo. The meat bar I visited last December had already been replaced by a dumpling shop. Upon entering the new shop, I was the only customer. I ordered the lamb chops, which were smaller than expected but still reasonably priced at 1,800 yen for two chops with potatoes. The potatoes were disappointing, lacking crispiness and covered in oil. The spicy vegetable stir-fry was decent but tasted like a makeshift dish made from leftover vegetables. Despite some shortcomings, the lamb chops were delicious, especially when seasoned with salt. However, the service could have been better, as I was not offered water until I ordered a drink. Overall, I enjoyed the meal but hope for improvements in the future.

I ordered the Ladies Plate (hamburger 80g, shrimp fry, Napolitan, curry doria, quiche pie, pickles, drink, salad, miso soup included) for 1200 yen. The miso soup was comforting. The portion sizes were great, and everything was well balanced. I finished everything without leaving any leftovers, feeling slightly full. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The other day, I pre-ordered a Christmas roast chicken for my workplace trip and picked it up to bring to my family. It ended up being a gift for my sister's husband. I couldn't resist trying some of the wings before giving it to them. It was delicious, the flavor was perfect. I definitely want to order some more next year!

Well, it's time for the first round of our company trip. This year, we chose Mel's Diner, located on the second floor of a building around where the arcade used to be in Tanukikoji 8-chome. We left Zero and headed there after just one hour, with 10 of us having the place to ourselves. We opted for the premium all-you-can-drink option for 4,500 yen, but two of us arrived 15 minutes early and ordered a Heartland beer separately as a prelude to the festivities (lol). The menu for the day included scallops and turnip with anchovy butter, a salad to enjoy the texture, cod and potato cream gratin, a rich demi-glace hamburger, chicken curry as the main dish, and ice cream for dessert. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the chicken curry (^^;; The dishes were all delicate and delicious, but a colleague felt that the hamburger could have been a bit more substantial. Personally, I thought an extra 500 yen for a larger portion would have been worth it. I also ordered a roast chicken for my family back home for Christmas. I paid in advance, so I need to make sure not to forget about it (lol).

Hamburger & shrimp fry plate, 1480 yen. There was no sign, so I wasn't sure if they were open or what was on the menu, but I decided to give it a try based on information from the internet. The menu overall is a bit on the expensive side. It takes a while for the food to come out, so it's not suitable if you're in a hurry or have limited time. Now, onto the food. (Shrimp fry: Excellent, Hamburger: Good, Salad: Okay, Miso soup: Okay) Very delicious.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. I heard that their hamburg steak was delicious, so I decided to visit right after they opened for lunch. I ordered the adult lunch plate, which included hamburg steak, omurice, pork cutlet, shrimp fry, curry, napolitan, salad, and soup. You can choose the amount of rice you want (for the adult lunch, it's the amount of omurice), and even though I wanted more rice considering the variety of side dishes, I opted for the smaller portion which came with a lassi. It turned out to be the right choice because the portions of the dishes were quite generous. The hamburg steak, which is made fresh after ordering, was particularly delicious. By the time I finished everything, I was really full and satisfied. They have a variety of menu options for both lunch and dinner, so I would love to come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I couldn't get a seat at the first two places I tried for lunch with my colleagues, so we ended up at Mel's which I hadn't been to in a while! My previous impression was that the portions were generous and the hamburger and curry were average. Today, I had the Demi Cutlet Plate! Apparently, the service changes depending on the amount of rice you choose, and when I went with a small portion, I got a lassi! It was served in about 15 minutes. The amount was just right and I felt satisfied! The light miso soup with fried tofu was delicious. The cutlet was served with demi-glace sauce and tonkatsu sauce. The demi-glace sauce wasn't too rich, and it paired well with the cutlet making it easy to eat! It wasn't too greasy and I could easily finish it. Also, the salad here is really tasty! My colleagues were also satisfied (^-^) Thank you for the meal!

Look at this juicy, plump hamburger just as it looks in the photo! The juiciness is overflowing! It goes perfectly with curry. It's a hearty meal. The hamburger itself is quite firm and not very juicy. It goes well with curry. Adding a little turmeric increases the spiciness and enhances the deliciousness of the curry even more!

The soft hamburger is delicious. It gets crowded quickly during lunchtime. It might be tough for those who dislike smoking. A lunch oasis for smokers.

This restaurant serves incredibly delicious hamburg steak that goes well with beer. Once you visit, you'll want to go back again.

Located deep in the west side of Tanukikoji Street, this stylish restaurant has wonderful staff. I heard rumors about their delicious demi-hamburg, so I decided to try it myself. The demi-hamburg costs 1000 yen and is absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ☺︎
