I had always wanted to try the "Chicken Cutlet Sandwich" from Kentucky Fried Chicken. Whenever I went to KFC, I always ended up ordering the "Chicken Filet Sandwich" and never got the chance to try the Cutlet Sandwich. So, this time, I decided to try it and went to the Keimino store in Ebetsu City. I also wanted to have some chicken, so I ordered the "Japanese-style Chicken Cutlet Sandwich Box" which came with the main sandwich (either Chicken Filet Sandwich or Japanese-style Chicken Cutlet Sandwich), chicken, potato, drink, and a mini custard apple pie. The drink was a "Lemonade Soda" which was fixed, but when asked if I wanted the chicken boneless or bone-in, I hesitated for a moment and decided boneless would be less messy if eating inside the store. However, I later regretted this decision. It was my first time trying the boneless KFC, and it felt somewhat unsatisfying. The breast meat was too bland and lacked the satisfying feeling of eating KFC. In the end, I realized that bone-in Original Chicken is the best choice for a satisfying KFC experience. Boneless is great for the Chicken Filet Sandwich, but for enjoying the meat itself, nothing beats the messy joy of eating bone-in chicken. Next time I visit KFC, I'll definitely go for the Original Chicken.

I purchased the 1000 yen pack to celebrate the founding of Kentucky Fried Chicken at the Emino store located at 1-8-5 Emino Nishi, Ebetsu City. The pack includes 5 pieces of original chicken, which is normally priced at 1230 yen but is discounted to 1000 yen for the founding anniversary. The anniversary pack is available for a limited time until July 6th this year. There is also a 1500 yen pack that includes potatoes. This was my first visit to the KFC Emino store. I remember buying the founding anniversary pack at the Chitose store in June 2019. Sometimes you just crave KFC, right? It was delicious, especially when paired with beer. Thank you for the meal.

Suddenly I realized that besides chicken, there is something surprisingly popular at Kenta that I haven't mentioned. In a way, I might like it more than chicken. For some reason, I prefer Ebetsu over Chitose. I just go there on a whim. Unlike Chitose, it feels more comfortable here for some reason. I end up ordering things other than pie, so it gets a bit pricey, but oh well. But here, I eat in the restaurant. Smoking and non-smoking areas are completely separated, and the seats are spacious and comfortable. It's not crowded with people, but it's not empty either, so it has a kind of hidden gem quality to it.

I preferred the Japanese-style cutlet sandwich which had more sauce flavor. 2013/12 It's a bit old news, but this year, Kentucky's Christmas period sales were the highest ever. I used to reserve a party barrel, but recently I buy individual items on the day. When I arrived at the parking lot, the security guard who is always there was not there today. During Christmas time, there are some items that are not available, and they usually say there is no Crispy, but this year it was available! The female staff member was very helpful and gave a good impression with polite service. Thank you for the meal. 2013/04 I also like the plain biscuits from KFC, but the chocolate biscuits are now available! I love chocolate! It's delicious with sauce! Another thing I was looking forward to was the delicious salt fried chicken, 3 pieces for 180 yen. It's crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and delicious with a hint of pepper! I want to eat it with rice as a side dish and use chopsticks. Thank you for the meal. 2009/06 KFC is familiar, but the taste may vary slightly depending on the store. It feels dry and tasteless? Compared to the Chitose store, the taste seems to be lower. I don't really like the atmosphere, and it feels even more lonely to go there at night. Since MOS Burger opened, I have fewer opportunities to go to KFC. I have a good impression of places with ample parking. There seem to be many staff members who lack friendliness. (Especially during Christmas time) It's convenient to use the Jeff Gourmet Card.

My mother contacted me saying she will make inari sushi on Sunday and asked me to buy KFC because my sister-in-law and niece are coming. I also buy KFC for myself, but my parents often buy it for me too. And usually, when they buy it, we already have plenty of food to eat. But I can't resist KFC! In March 2016, Kentucky Fried Chicken had a special deal for Hokkaido residents' day. I wanted to buy some fried chicken as a gift for my father who loves it. Unfortunately, I visited on a holiday, which was the day after Hokkaido residents' day. So, I ended up getting a 4-piece pack to go and also ordered a chicken and fish set to eat in the restaurant. I prefer fish fry over fried chicken, and it was crispy and delicious. The tartar sauce was also tasty. The fries were freshly fried and the iced coffee was easy to drink. This shop has many staff members who are like mothers and are loved by the community. Despite it being snack time at 3 pm, freshly fried items are set from the stock... I wanted to eat them~ The seasonal Fried Salmon using Hokkaido autumn salmon looks like "we fried the fillet♪" Thickly cut but the flesh is dry, covered by tartar sauce. I strangely like Kentar's tartar sauce, it's suitable for fried food. Because it's from Hokkaido, it's salmon, but maybe I'm more used to eating cod or hokke. Salmon is for cava haha. I like the crispy crunchy batter, but the flesh is a bit dry... But I might like it more than the original chicken. That spice just doesn't suit me. The Salsa sauce of the Pepper Mayo Twister is good, bringing out the spiciness. The taco shell is chewy, and in terms of quantity, this alone can be a light meal. The chicken used to come with 2 pieces, now it's only 1... The French fries are lightly salted. Aiko's deep roast is incredibly bitter (= ´∀´)ﾉ凵゛ The ginger is strangely sweet. I came to the restaurant around 5:50 PM by myself. I used a coupon for a "Chicken Fillet Sandwich Set (Melon Soda M + Kernel Crispy)" which cost a total of 600 yen. The food was served promptly and the portion, taste, and quality were all good. I only had to wait for about 10 minutes in the drive-thru. The service was good and the customer base seemed diverse. The parking lot was easy to access and it was also easy for a solo diner to enter the restaurant. I will definitely come back again. I found a flyer in the newspaper and decided to visit after a long time. The restaurant is located next to the post office, just past the arcade in Megumino Station. There were other customers in the drive-thru, so it took a bit of time. For me, the Chicken Fillet Sandwich is a classic, but I really love the Kernel Crispy chicken, almost to the point where it feels like the main dish! The crispy coating and juicy chicken meat are delicious. I think I will use the drive-thru again for my next visit. Also, when I carefully looked at the receipt this time, it said "Bones are not edible" and I was like "Huh?" haha.

The person who reviewed first mentioned that the food was dry, but I always feel that the meat (breading) is soggy. I have never experienced it being dry. Even compared to the shops in Sapporo, the KFC in Megumino has been described as oddly soggy by an acquaintance, so I have been curious about it. I wonder if it's due to a change in the staff or the characteristics of the machinery. I'm not sure. The atmosphere of the shop has improved after the interior renovation. It's a shame that there are few seats. It would be nice if they could just eliminate the smoking area. Every year on Christmas Eve, there is a long line outside. I wonder if it's really worth waiting for. But everyone has their own preferences. I have spent Christmas Eve with my family at Tsubo Hachi across the street, watching the line. It's one of the few fast food restaurants in the Megumino area, so I hope they continue to operate for a long time.

【Completely Non-Smoking】 A restaurant known for its trademark old man character, belonging to a major fried chicken chain. Located in the shopping district of Megumino, Ebetsu City, this long-standing establishment can be found about 120 meters from the intersection of Danchi Kanko-dori and the main street in front of the station, on the opposite side of JR. It's just a few minutes' walk from JR Megumino Station. On my first visit on July 21, around 11 am, KFC was running a promotion where all drink sizes were priced at 100 yen. I had cycled over to try out a new soup curry restaurant in Megumino, so I decided to hydrate with a large Earl Grey for just 100 yen. Sometimes they may recommend chicken or other items, but I confidently stick to my trusty KFC. I happily gulped down my drink, feeling refreshed. Thank you for the meal! ♬

Today is the 28th, which means it's Chicken Day at the restaurant. When I arrived, there were about 10 cars in line at the drive-thru. It seems like everyone is here for Chicken Day, including myself! (laughs) The Original Chicken 4-piece and 5 Chicken Nuggets for 1,000 yen is a great deal! I had seen this restaurant's commercial on TV before, and happened to have some business in the area, so I decided to drive through and buy the Ginger Hot Chicken and Original Chicken! I thought the Ginger Hot Chicken would be slightly spicy, but it wasn't too spicy, just a little kick to it. The Original Chicken was as good as always!

I went to the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Megumino. I entered the store at around 12:20 on Saturday. I ordered the Original Chicken (2 pieces, 490 yen) for takeout. I paid with d払い. The chicken arrived in about 5 minutes. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
