This is a specialty shop for grilled clams located in Asahikawa Shopping Park. The shop has a stylish atmosphere with dim lighting and indirect lighting. I ordered a Sapporo Classic draft beer and was served a seafood appetizer with scallops, surf clams, and octopus. The grilled clams were delicious and made with high-quality clams. I also tried a jar-cooked blue mussel from Shikano, which had a crunchy texture and a sea breeze flavor. The grilled squid legs with garlic flavor were very tender and tasty. I also enjoyed a glass of Garcia Carrion wine and a super dry sake from Ichinokura. The chicken tenderloin skewers with wasabi were also delicious. Overall, the restaurant offers a selection of carefully prepared dishes in a stylish setting with friendly staff.

The automatic clam service provides 3 clams per person, which is the standard offering. The size was smaller than expected, but they paired perfectly with the broth and soy sauce. All the dishes served were delicious, but the serving time was a bit long. Recommended for those who want to enjoy a quiet and leisurely meal.

The price is not cheap, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice and you can enjoy a leisurely meal. The clams are thick and you won't get tired of eating them. They keep bringing clams until you say stop, so you can keep eating until you're satisfied. It was a great system.

In Asahikawa, I had some clam dishes, including clam soba style! I wanted to try other dishes too, so I ordered 3 sets of 3 clams each, totaling 9 clams. I also ordered a soba salad, but it turned out to be salad on top of soba noodles. I was quite full after all that. But I also tried the shrimp mayo yaki, which was delicious. I also tried two types of whisky, including one from Akkeshi. It was expensive, but worth the taste test. Lastly, I had some onigiri and it was a feast. Thank you very much!

I was drawn to the clam. The atmosphere is sophisticated and adult-like, with a wide and chic second floor where you can see the night view from the counter. The clam dish was the highlight, with a system where they keep serving grilled clams until you say stop. The presentation of the dishes was stylish with decorative garnishes. The seafood was delicious, but overall the seasoning was a bit too salty, which was disappointing. They had a decent selection of sake. In summary, the restaurant was beautiful and stylish, the seafood with a taste of the sea was good, but the saltiness became a concern towards the end.

"One-Track House" Asahikawa, third stop I am alone This year in Asahikawa, there is a lot of snow, and on top of that, it's been hit hard by the new type of virus, which is really unfortunate. "I don't want your sympathy!!" ... But this is the story from that time... It's December today. I was planning to go to three places today. The third place is a bit expensive, but I was curious about the "clam shop" that I passed by earlier. It's a somewhat serious-looking shop. When I opened the door, I had to take off my shoes. Inside the shoebox, there was a note cut out to avoid being traced, saying, "If you want your daughter back, leave a ransom of ten million yen here." I don't have ten million yen with me right now, so I decided to go upstairs. The large and impressive interior of the shop seemed to be underutilized, with no customers in sight. It felt like a waste. The atmosphere was a bit grim. I was served by a casual guy who came out of nowhere to guide me to the counter. There was also a woman, but she seemed to be there only for voice acting, as I couldn't remember her face at all. The clam set was in the 2000 yen range, so I decided to order it. I couldn't help but wonder about the 850 yen seating fee written on the open menu. It bothered me until the end, and it led to a mistake in the end. What's this? Is this the kind of place it is? I thought to myself. If I were told a price in the 3000 yen range at the checkout, I would definitely not pay it. In such a case, I'm sure a scary person would come out, and I would have to call the police. I kept thinking about that until I left. There was an ashtray, which didn't suit the atmosphere of the shop. I had two beers. It's not something to be grateful for considering the price, but it was delicious. The three items were a small turban shell, a baby scallop, and a One-Track House salad. The turban shell was small, and when I tried to open it, the shell broke a little too easily. It made me feel like I could handle it if a scary person came out! I left one shell uneaten. The two baby scallops were delicious. I'm not sure if they were surf clams. The One-Track House salad was delicious, but if it had been tossed with mayonnaise, it might have been even better. Nevertheless, I have no complaints. The clam was grilled by the older brother at the counter. He was grilling inside the counter, but since he wasn't directly in front of me from where I was sitting, I was the only one there, so it would have been better if he had guided me to a seat where I could see him. The clam was fresh and juicy. Even if it had been frozen, it was a flawless ingredient. The older brother, who clearly had no intention of conversing with me, reluctantly answered when I asked, "Where is it from?" with a heavy mouth, "We source it from Mie." "Is it clam from Kuwana?" "Yes." "Oh, it's not frozen, is it?" "We have it sent to us fresh." "Wow, that's impressive." It was fresh and very delicious clam. The staff consisted of a man and a woman. They were young. I thought the conversation would expand from there, but it didn't. The older brother deliberately left, making me worry about what would happen next. But I won't pay the 850 yen seating fee no matter what, so I felt uncomfortable. I wonder what the outcome of the bill will be. It's really concerning.

Today is the day of photochemical smog. I heard about it when I was in elementary school. Photochemical smog alert has been issued today!!! I wonder if it's also in Hokkaido? On this day in 1970, the first photochemical smog in Japan occurred in Suginami Ward, Tokyo. During a physical education class at Rissho High School, students suddenly complained of eye pain, headaches, and 43 people were taken to the hospital. In addition, many people in the Tokyo area complained of eye and throat pain. The Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Public Health estimated that photochemical smog is caused by toxic substances produced by nitrogen oxides (NOx) and hydrocarbons in car exhaust gases reacting with ultraviolet rays in sunlight. Since then, car exhaust gas regulations have been implemented, and photochemical smog alerts are issued on sunny days. Today is, after all, what place? If the photo looks delicious, click the "↓" button!! ⇒ Try clicking it once!! Menu One-tracked shop is known for its main dish. But, they also have other menu items. Somehow, it falls into the category of an izakaya. A specialized store... but, it's good enough, but for alcohol, you definitely need a variety of things. Rice dishes are important at an izakaya. Having rice dishes makes a big difference. People who don't drink should eat. So, rice is essential. Clam system One-tracked shop is known for clams. This is famous in Asahikawa. How many shops nationwide are pushing clams to the forefront? I heard the system when I was taken there before. It continues to be served until you say "stop"... 3 pieces at a time = 250 x 3 = 750 yen. If you keep eating, the price will be quite high. First, 3 pieces each are served to one person. 6 pieces for 2 people, so it's 1500 yen. After 3 rotations, it's 4500 yen. Yeah, thinking like that, it's luxurious. Eating like this... There's a special wooden tool for eating clams. You bring it to the shell and eat it all at once. It doesn't get too hot... so you can eat it normally. Well, the taste of clams after a long time... it was amazing!! It was incredibly delicious. Extremely tasty. After a long time, I was impressed. Did I get this excited the last time I ate it? No, no, no, this is so good. I could keep eating endlessly. Appetizer dishes are also ordered. Clam... It's okay to keep eating just clams, but then the bill will be outrageous. So, appetizers are also ordered. Camembert cheese fry and chicken skin senbei. Fried foods are really delicious. When you sandwich this in between, it makes you want to eat more clams. Tsukune skewers with cartilage Homemade tsukune. It has a light taste, not too strong. But, the texture of chicken and cartilage was delicious. It would be interesting if there was a tsukune with clams... wouldn't it not taste good?? Onigiri Of course, I had onigiri. Plum, bonito, cod roe... and Mom's special. Mom??? Oh... I didn't see Mom around... Katsuobushi mayo Mom's special has katsuobushi mayo. I'm sure someone in the kitchen was making it. When it comes to mayo, it's usually with sea chicken, but bonito also goes well with it. Mayo in onigiri is a revolution. Mentaiko mayo, cod roe mayo, sea chicken mayo, katsuobushi mayo... With mayo, anything tastes better... that's what I think. Finished... Kigatsukeba... There are so many shells. How many times were clams brought to us...? Unless you say stop, they will continue to be served forever. But, it was so delicious that I could eat as much as I wanted. When you count the number of shells... the price is scary. I wonder how many pieces the person who ate the most had. I want to go again. Thank you for the meal. ⇒ ★As long as you have money, you can eat 100 pieces◇ If this shop was nearby, I would go three times a week. Notice ===========

I revisited this place with a calm and welcoming atmosphere where I can enjoy a drink. Last time, I only had the shellfish, so I want to try other dishes too. For my drink, I chose sparkling sake. I was interested in trying "Kudoki Jouzu Oshun," but they said the manufacturer is currently out of stock and it might take a while to restock. I ended up trying the Mio BRUT for 1320 yen, which I heard is only available in restaurants and not in regular stores. It was less sweet and more refreshing compared to other varieties. For food, I started with the appetizers, which included herring, chilled tofu with miso topping, and a unique grilled dish. The grilled clams were served three at a time, but when I tried to stop after the first round, they ended up grilling a second round as well. The wasabi and cream cheese dish was interesting with frozen wasabi. I also enjoyed the monkfish tempura, which I always like to eat at festivals. I then tried the "Hire Sake" for 800 yen, made from the fins of natural pufferfish from Shimonoseki. I kept ordering more because it was so good. I also tried the boiled white bay scallops for 670 yen, which I mistakenly thought were white clams. They were actually small shellfish that looked like small barnacles. The owner wasn't there on that day, but the manager was handling things. I mentioned that I wanted to try "Oshun," and they said it just came in stock recently. Overall, it was a great experience, and I recommend trying the different dishes and drinks available at this place.

Last year, I visited a slightly different place from the last time I visited. It was my third visit of the day. Les Sens du Fruit 4500 yen Since they didn't have my favorite type of sake, I decided to go for white wine to go with the shellfish. It had a fruity aroma and was easy to drink. Appetizers 850 yen Hokuyori, cold tofu, potato salad The potato salad had a sweet flavor and was delicious, but it was a bit expensive. Grilled clams The price may vary depending on the market price, but it's around 250 yen per piece. They only grill three clams per person and stop when you're done, so it's not rushed like at a dog soba shop. The first time was just right, but the second time it was a bit rare. Salt-boiled whelk 1430 yen I wanted to try a slightly different type of shellfish. There was quite a lot more than I expected. It had a visual similar to a snail. It was quite salty! My companion got tired of it halfway through, but since there was plenty, I forced them to eat it. The interior of the store is more luxurious than the previous one and quite spacious. It might be good for a date. Even though it was the third place we visited, the bill came out to 11,693 yen. I spent quite a bit.

In Hokkaido, when it comes to shellfish, scallops are the usual choice. However, here you can enjoy shellfish dishes other than scallops. I tried clams for the first time, they have a rich taste similar to green peas. I think this might be the only place in Asahikawa where you can taste them. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey.

Stylish bar Hama-ya. The clams were small but delicious. Prices are on the higher side. The atmosphere is nice, but it may not be suitable for those looking for a lively place to eat clams.

This is a clam specialty izakaya located in the heart of the bustling district of Asahikawa City. The location is convenient and the clams keep coming until you say stop. The clams are delicious, with a firm and juicy texture that is irresistible. I always end up eating too much. The variety of drinks is also abundant and perfect. I definitely want to continue using this place in the future.
