On a night when I craved alcohol, I made a reservation and visited a popular Chinese and Japanese cuisine restaurant known for its good food and drinks. It was fully booked even on a weekday. I sat at the corner of the counter and started with a drink-all-you-can plan including sake. I began with beer, which was served in a unique "tornado" style, efficient and tasty. The appetizer was chawanmushi, and I also ordered the bargain-priced bluefin tuna and eggplant. Everything was good, but I was already quite full, so it was hard to judge. The highlight was the sake, which I wanted to try getting into. Not being knowledgeable about sake, I left it to the staff's choice, and it was delicious and a sophisticated selection. I got carried away in the fun atmosphere and ended up drinking a lot of beer, highballs, and sake until closing time. It's a lively and youthful place with great service. Thank you for the meal.

2F of Okada Building, 6-3-2 Minami 2-jo Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. Located on the 1st floor of the building where Ramen Kitaiki is, on Tanukikoji 6-chome. There is a staircase on the left to go up to the 2nd floor. The menu sign caught my attention with the cheap price of 50 yen for one oyster. It was around 9 pm on a weekday. The restaurant was about 80-90% full, mostly with salarymen in their 30s and older. We were initially seated at a raised seating area and were told we could move to the counter if it got crowded. Later, we were moved to the counter. They offer a party plan with 7 dishes (seafood & Chinese) and a drink-all-you-can option with sake as the main. It seems to be the son of a Chinese restaurant in Yakumo or Setana who opened this izakaya. - Sake all-you-can-drink: 2,280 yen. They pour the sake into the same glass without changing it. - Oyster: 50 yen each. I ordered 10, but they were steamed, not raw, which was disappointing. - Simmered dish: Sweet and salty flavor, no rough texture, very tasty. - Tuna tartare: Tuna cut into small cubes, easy to eat with little sinew. Goes well with broccoli and seaweed. - Eggplant pickles wrapped in prosciutto: A good appetizer. The prosciutto itself is delicious and goes well with the pickled eggplant. In total, the bill exceeded 8,000 yen for two people, so the 4,000 yen course seems more cost-effective. Depending on the timing, it can be quite noisy and smoking is allowed, so it may be tough for non-smokers.

Arrived at 7:00 PM on Saturday. Reservation for 2 people. The restaurant was full and lively. Located in Tanukikoji 6-chome. It's on the 2nd floor above the ramen restaurant "Kiraito," with a small entrance that we initially missed. Besides the owner, there were 3 male and female staff members. The background music was modern jazz. We ordered the 'All-you-can-drink local sake with a single item' (2280 yen). Prices were not listed on the menu, but we later saw them on a board at the entrance. The beer was Tornado Super Dry served in a unique glass with a bottom valve for pouring. The bottled beer was Sapporo Classic. The appetizer was chilled edamame chawanmushi, which was perfect for the still hot weather. For food, we ordered: - Deep-fried whole baby octopus (750 yen): 4 small octopus pieces, crispy on the outside with a delicious soy sauce-based seasoning. - Kiara sashimi (800 yen): 4 slices of a rich-tasting white fish, which we tried for the first time and found delicious. - Salmon sashimi (750 yen): Firm and flavorful salmon, even though it wasn't very fatty. - Stir-fried whelk and asparagus with garlic (900 yen): A Chinese dish in an izakaya, surprisingly light and perfectly seasoned. - Thai snapper sashimi (800 yen) - Amberjack sashimi (750 yen): Both sashimi dishes were so delicious that we ordered more. - Grilled oysters (50 yen each): We were surprised to find out they were only 50 yen each and were satisfied with their large juicy meat. Although there was a slight wait for the oysters, their quality and taste made it worth it. The total bill was around 5000 yen per person. With such delicious food, we had no complaints and will definitely come back!

Visited with three people, reserved a course with 7 dishes and all-you-can-drink for 4000 yen (tax included). Additionally ordered button shrimp sashimi and 1 Hokkaido oyster for 50 yen each. The grilled oyster was disappointingly small, but overall the all-you-can-drink option was very satisfying. The bottled beer was reliably delicious, and the surprise was the taste of Tornado Super Dry. The selection of sake was luxurious, not what you would expect from an all-you-can-drink deal. The young staff provided excellent service, making it a very satisfying course overall.

I went on a business trip to Hokkaido. I was able to make a reservation just before arriving at the restaurant, and it was fully booked right after. I was able to fully enjoy Hokkaido's cuisine. The dishes were all delicious, reasonably priced, and just the right portion size, allowing me to enjoy a variety of dishes. The herring sashimi and the daily special namero were especially delicious. The most impressive thing was the drink all-you-can for 2 hours for 2,200 yen, including Sapporo bottled beer, Chita highball, and about 10 types of Japanese sake. This place is definitely worth visiting again.

The staff were efficient and pleasant, the reservation was easy, the food was delicious, and the drink options for the all-you-can-drink were varied and enjoyable. The only slight downside was that the food took a bit long to be served, and it was unclear what the course included (only the drink options were listed on Tabelog). Overall, it was a great experience and I would like to visit again for à la carte ordering next time.

Toulin ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و This day, I went to Hiragana Toulin in Tanuki 6! Compared to KT3-Jo, this Toulin was quite lively and bustling, a popular spot as it was fully packed!! KT3-Jo had private rooms, so it had a more calm atmosphere, which made me wonder if they were part of the same chain? It had sunken seating, but the space between tables was narrow, and I was on edge watching the person behind me almost bump into the neighboring table when they went to the restroom, haha. It's fine if you're not tipsy, but people get drunk when they drink, so it was a bit nerve-wracking, haha. We went for the 4000 yen course, and since it wasn't a photo-taking group, I didn't take pictures of the food! I managed to snap a photo of the menu though. The service was quick considering how busy they were, and the food itself was delicious. They even served some Chinese dishes alongside the Japanese ones, giving it a fusion feel. The lineup of sake for the all-you-can-drink option was quite good! I ended up drinking too much, haha. I've never seen a place that serves beer like this, but they had "Tornado Super Dry," which was popular a few years ago? The beer is poured into a special glass using a machine that makes it spiral up from the bottom, creating a cool effect. However, the bottom part of the glass for the tornado looked a bit unappealing. Despite being a popular spot, the narrow interior and close proximity to neighboring tables made it hard to even hear the conversations of the people next to us. It's fine if you're just drinking with one other person at the counter, but when there are four people like this time, it's better to have a place where you can easily chat with everyone. Overall, it was a good meal!

I liked it the first time and this is my second visit. We made a reservation for a party on Friday at 6 pm. First of all, the food is delicious. The photos do not show all the dishes. Please understand. Also, the variety of drinks for the all-you-can-drink option is plentiful and the drinks are brought to you promptly. It was perfect.

Based on a friend's recommendation, I made a reservation for a 4000 yen course. I was able to easily book through Tabelog. It was during the peak of Golden Week when I visited, and the restaurant was fully booked. Reservations are definitely necessary. I was curious about the quality of the cheaper course with all-you-can-drink, but I was impressed from the first course, a steamed egg custard, by the depth of the flavor. The drinks included high-quality sake, making it a very cost-effective and excellent restaurant!

On the second day of my trip to Hokkaido, I went to a restaurant for the second round of drinks with my colleagues from work. The restaurant served delicious alcohol and fish dishes. The menu was rich in fish dishes such as sashimi and grilled fish. The grilled oysters were quite reasonably priced. Hokkaido is known for its grilled Atka mackerel, and the one served here was quite large. It was fatty and very satisfying. The alcohol selection was diverse, including beer and sake, which paired well with the fish dishes. The number of staff seemed to be limited, so the turnover rate was not very high. I would like to try the sashimi next time.

Great value for money for both sake and fish. It was my first time visiting this place. I was invited to try a course where you can drink over ten different types of sake, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety available. The sake menu apparently changes daily. The food that came out one after another was perfect for pairing with the sake. I especially enjoyed the salmon, salmon roe, and firefly squid porridge. The Niseko sake was a standout. If you love sake, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

A wide range of izakaya restaurants from seafood to Chinese cuisine!! Sapporo expedition!! I was planning to eat the popular "spilling over" donburi, but my schedule was tight... I searched for a restaurant where I could enjoy delicious seafood and found this place!! It is located in a corner of Tanukikoji. The restaurant has counter seats and tatami seating. The inside was almost full, but I managed to get a seat. The sashimi assortment, stingray fin, chicken and wasabi dumplings, and the complimentary mapo tofu were all incredibly delicious. The sashimi assortment was particularly good, especially the sea urchin!!

It was my first time at this restaurant, Tofuza Kamikaido on the second floor. I was a little worried about the combination of Japanese and Chinese cuisine, but the food was delicious! The dishes started off with subtle flavors, then gradually became more bold and flavorful. The meal ended with a delicious tea-infused rice with salmon roe. The service was excellent, and it was clear why this place is so popular. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the restaurant was bustling and lively, just like in the pre-COVID days.

Located in 6-chome of Tanukikoji, "Tourin" is a restaurant that serves both Japanese and Chinese cuisine. You don't have to eat both, you can choose to focus on one. They offer delicious seafood and a variety of Japanese sake at an affordable price, starting from 500 yen. I'd love to try their Chinese dishes next time.

The sun is finally up, and I can go on a business trip again. This time, I'm heading to Hokkaido for the first time in a while! I decided to meet up with a friend who started working in Hokkaido and go out for drinks. We went to this restaurant known for its delicious Chinese cuisine. We started with a toast with Sapporo beer, as Asahi draft beer was not available. The appetizer was a delicate chawanmushi with a hint of sakura shrimp. It was delicious, setting high expectations for the meal. For snacks, we had stir-fried mussels with garlic and eggs, raw oysters with namero, and tuna sashimi. The mussels were flavorful and satisfying. The raw oysters with namero was a new experience for me, but I found it okay, maybe better to eat them plain (laughs). However, it was still a good dish. I switched to highball halfway through, and the cute glass made me want to keep drinking. The restaurant recommended all-you-can-drink, which would have been the right choice for a drinker like me. But since I was in Hokkaido, I wanted to explore more, so I stopped here. It might have been better to go for all-you-can-drink and enjoy a Chinese feast (laughs). Overall, it was a good place for a quick drink as the first stop. Thank you for the meal.

This is a shop on the second floor of a building. I had been curious about it for a while, and finally made it there. It's a counter-style shop, but the interior is a bit cramped, so it's not really a place where you can relax. Also, maybe it was just by chance, but I was expecting a calm atmosphere, and it turned out to be quite lively, which was a bit disappointing. The staff's uniforms are clean and nice. They have a wide selection of Japanese sake, which is appealing. Thank you for the meal.

Every time I walk down Tanuki Koji Street, I have been curious about this restaurant with the oyster sign. Since that drunken night when I came for a second round, this is my first visit from the first round. I arrived at 6 o'clock without a reservation, and the place was already almost full...but that just means it's a popular spot, so my expectations are high! The second branch was quite nice as well. They offer both all-you-can-drink and individual drink options, but the menu is almost the same. If you can drink a fair amount, the all-you-can-drink option is definitely worth it...because if you opt for individual drinks thinking you can drink slowly, they will ask you to leave after two hours just like with the all-you-can-drink option. If only I had known from the beginning... As for the food, they had steamed oysters (reduced to 80 yen each according to the sign), cream cheese miso pickles, and tuna offcuts. The taste was delicious, but they were a bit pricey for the portion size. I only had these dishes, but I ended up spending over 6,000 yen in two hours. Maybe I drank too much? Next time, I might try the all-you-can-drink option and explore more of their enticing food options!

The set menu with all-you-can-drink for 4000 yen including 7 items is a great deal. It was nice to have 3 types of fresh sake included in the all-you-can-drink option. Dishes like deep-fried tofu and braised pork belly were satisfying in terms of portion size. However, the ventilation was poor, and the whole restaurant was filled with smoke, making my eyes hurt.

I made a reservation by phone just before the restaurant opened on Saturday. I arrived right when they opened the curtains and was guided to a private room in the back. Although it was a bit small, it had a cozy atmosphere. The place seemed popular as they had to turn away walk-in customers, including one who came right after me. I was told that I had two hours for my meal. The restaurant quickly filled up, with customers even waiting on the stairs after just two hours. The menu was rich with a focus on seafood and Chinese dishes, catering to a wide range of customers. The selection of Japanese sake was extensive, and they even offered a drink-all-you-can option. It was a great place to enjoy with friends in a casual setting. The Asahi Super Dry beer was served in a tornado pour from a special glass. I tried the recommended dishes: Spicy Mabo of cod and tilefish, Beef with black pepper, Large shrimp in chili sauce, Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), Salt-fried ginkgo nuts, Raw squid, Raw horse mackerel, and Raw mackerel. The service was prompt and attentive, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Reservations are a must on weekends and advisable on weekdays. Overall, the food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Hello everyone! After enjoying a delicious stew, let's head over to the nearby gem "Wasyu to Kassen Tourin" for some drinks. We'll be guided to the semi-private room in the back right corner. Let's have the all-you-can-drink option along with fresh sashimi of Japanese flying squid, striped horse mackerel, and marinated mackerel, as well as xiaolongbao, large shrimp in chili sauce, black pepper stir-fried beef, spicy mapo tofu with sword beans, and ginkgo nuts. I'll have a Tornado beer to go with it! I heard that Asahi's Tornado is poured into the glass from the bottom, interesting! The variety of sake for the all-you-can-drink option is impressive. I'm currently on a self-reflection journey, so I'll take it easy, but I do enjoy the elegant steamed egg custard with a sauce that came as a starter. The thick and tender texture of the Japanese flying squid is delightful, with a sweetness that you can't get from regular squid or cuttlefish. The black pepper beef and shrimp in chili sauce are just as good as what you'd find in a typical Chinese restaurant. The fluffy Hana Maki dashi and spicy mapo tofu with sword beans are also quite good. However, the xiaolongbao could have been hotter, and I definitely missed the ginger as a condiment. The combination of sushi and Chinese dishes is similar to Fuku Rokuju in Kitahachijo, both offering high-quality options for both cuisines. If you want a bit of everything, this place is perfect. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The members who came to visit requested seafood and went to an izakaya in Tanukikoji Shopping Street. We ordered a unique chawanmushi as an appetizer, followed by ordering oysters for 80 yen each. However, the food was not up to par, and we were disappointed with the overall taste.
