In October 2022, there is a single-family bakery in a residential area in Kitashira-sui. You have to take off your shoes to enter. The bakery is run by a friendly female owner. They offer a small selection of cooking bread and dessert bread, as well as handmade goods. I purchased a sausage bread and iced coffee. When asked if I wanted syrup and cream in the iced coffee, I declined. However, when I tried it, the iced coffee was surprisingly sweet. It seems it's not black coffee. The bread was small and cute, and it was fluffy and soft when I tried it. The sausage was also delicious!

There is a quietly located small house bakery on a residential street that is not easy to find unless you know it's there. The interior of the shop is a gallery of mini bread and handmade goods. The mini bread comes in various types, perfect for those who want to try different varieties or for those with small appetites. The mini bread is surprisingly cheap and, of course, delicious. You can also enjoy browsing through the handmade goods.

This bakery that I had heard about from someone is located in a residential area in Shin-Kotoni. It is a house where you open the front door like a normal home. When you open the sliding door on the left side of the entrance, the friendly owner greets you with a "Hello!" There are tables, and it seems like local ladies are enjoying tea, so you can also use it as a cafe. They also sell cute miscellaneous goods. The variety of bread is quite extensive, with different types sold daily. And... they have adorable mini breads♡ You can eat them in one bite, and this size allows you to try many different kinds. Plus, they are only 55 yen each! If you buy 2 or more, they are 50 yen each! In addition to the mini breads, they sell several other types of bread, all at affordable prices. Today, I bought a chiffon cake (100 yen), an omelette bread (130 yen), and a fried chicken bread, an okonomiyaki-style bread, a croquette bread, and a chicken cutlet bread (each 50 yen). They are so cute♡ The palm-sized breads are fluffy, and the fillings inside are flavors that everyone loves. They are perfect as a main meal or as a snack when you're feeling a bit hungry.

At the "Asabu Osowake Market" held in Kakuouji every two months by the Asou Shopping Street Promotion Association, I purchased the following items:
- Gagome Kombu Walnut & Cranberry Bread (usually 250 yen, discounted to 220 yen): Made with naturally fermented yeast and a blend of Hokkaido wheat, this bread does not contain milk or eggs. The Gagome Kombu broth flavor is subtle, and the walnuts and cranberries inside are not too abundant. The bread itself is surprisingly delicious, with a chewy and soft texture. However, when stored and eaten the next day, the texture changes to a more fluffy consistency.
- Additive-free Matcha Chiffon Cake (usually 100 yen, discounted to 80 yen): The matcha flavor was a bit lacking, so it was discounted. The cake has a fine and fluffy texture, and I covered the lack of matcha flavor by adding chocolate cream at home.
- Today's Mini Bread (Sweet Potato) (50 yen): The mini bread had a variety of options, and the sweet potato version had a natural sweetness and flavor. It was cheap and I would like to try other varieties if given the chance.
This was my first time discovering this shop at the event, and I unexpectedly found delicious bread. I have a feeling that their bread loaves are also delicious, so I would love to try them in the future. The shop seems to be a renovated general residential building, and their white baked curry bread seems to be a popular item. I hope to encounter their products again at future events since I might not be able to visit the store directly. It's best to check their website for the current month's closing days before planning a visit.
