Sapporo, but Goryokaku. Its atmosphere is like a Showa-era bar. It has a high rate of regular customers, but newcomers are also welcome. The friendly and cheerful mama-san will take care of you. I visited after a long time to enjoy delicious dishes at "Niyon (North 24th Street)". I was captivated by the skilled eye and technique of the chef who provided the dishes. I'm completely hooked on GORYOKAKU. I quenched my thirst with Sapporo Black Label and chose dishes from the blackboard on the wall. Winter specialties from Hokkaido kept coming. The well-oiled KinKi is the chef's proud simmered dish. It's full of collagen and the sweet ginger soy sauce enhances the flavor. The "Matachi" that was served as sashimi was plump and bursting with flavor. The scallops and lean tuna in the sashimi platter were just right. The shime-saba was a delightful addition. I chose oyster fry as a snack for my highball. They coat and fry it after you order. It has a fluffy texture and rich flavor. Tonight, I drank and ate well. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Goryokaku Izakaya near Sapporo Kita 24-jo Station for drinks. Since I had children with me, I made an inquiry before going. I made a reservation for a private room. The dishes that came out were all delicious. We had tuna, flounder, scallops, sea urchin sashimi, simmered yellowtail, grilled chicken with salt and pepper, flounder and squid sashimi, and fresh oysters, and they were all delicious. The recommended dishes on the blackboard menu are especially good. The seafood, whether sashimi or grilled, is delicious. They also made a tamagoyaki for the kids. They also provided hot water for milk, which was made at the right temperature.

It was my first time visiting the town of Kita 24-jo, and at the recommendation of a friend, we stopped by this izakaya. It had a small raised tatami seating area and a counter with around 10 seats, giving it a cozy feel. We arrived close to closing time, but they kindly welcomed us. We were hungry, so we quickly ordered some zosui (rice porridge), fried oysters, and grilled eggplant, along with some beer. The sashimi displayed in the counter case looked delicious, and although we hesitated due to the late hour, I was confident that the sashimi here would be amazing. The hokkigai (surf clam) and katsuo (skipjack tuna) were especially delicious! The master carefully prepared each dish, and you could tell the food would be tasty. The grilled eggplant was juicy and fluffy, and I could have easily eaten five pieces by myself. The zosui was subtly flavored but packed with plenty of seafood, including generous chunks of crab meat. The broth was undeniably delicious. The oysters were big and juicy. I decided that the next time I visit Kita 24-jo, I will definitely come back to this restaurant and take my time to enjoy the food. It was a memorable night.
