I felt like having soft serve ice cream after eating at the restaurant across the street. They also sold fruits and other items, but the sign outside only caught my eye with "soft serve ice cream" written on it. I ordered a cup of soft serve ice cream. The soft serve was rich and had a slight milky taste with a delicious sweetness of milk. However, the price of 378 yen including tax may be a bit high... But it was one of the tastiest soft serve ice creams I've had recently!

Due to a computer malfunction caused by a virus, the migration process to a new desktop computer has been completed. This is my second review, so I'll briefly talk about the "Sapporo Asaichi" market. It is a morning market where wholesalers from Sapporo Central Wholesale Market sell their products. The main customers are retail and food service businesses, especially those in the seafood industry. Famous sushi restaurants also come here for their supplies. Although it is not commonly visited by the general public, many people come during the year-end to buy ingredients for New Year's. The market follows the same schedule as the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market, with operating hours from 5 am to 11 am. Parking for the general public is usually not allowed until 9 am. "Mama's Shop" is a produce store located within the Sapporo Asaichi market, opened in May 2017. The store is managed by a veteran mama and offers a variety of fruits and seafood. During my visit, I found Shine Muscat grapes weighing 360g for 1404 yen. Despite being slightly smaller than usual, they had a decent taste comparable to those used for cakes. The price was surprisingly low considering the year-end price hikes. I wonder how much they would cost at retail stores. Looking forward to trying a different fruit next time.

My computer broke down, but I finally received a new desktop computer. I am currently in the process of transferring data, which is expected to take a few days. Since this is my first time using Windows 10, I am struggling with the migration process. I will continue to like and comment on posts once the migration is complete. Thank you for your understanding.
"Sapporo Asaichi" is a morning market run by wholesalers at the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market. The main customers are retail stores and restaurants, especially those related to seafood. Even famous sushi restaurants come here to purchase ingredients. It is not a market frequented by the general public, except during the year-end when people come to buy ingredients for New Year's. The market follows the same operating calendar as the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market, with holidays for the upcoming year already announced. The market is open from early morning at 5 am to 11 am, with general parking not allowed until 9 am. During the year-end, a large parking lot is available for general customers a little further away.
"Mama no Misé" is a produce store located within the "Sapporo Asaichi" market, managed by a veteran "mama." The store opened in May 2017 and has had minimal changes, which is rare in the market. I visited for the first time with my usual companion. The store is located in the Kuwanazon area of Chuo Ward, a little south of the Sapporo Central Wholesale Market. Please check the exact location on Tabelog. Upon arrival, I found affordable "Shine Muscat" grapes, one of my favorite fruits. In December, Shine Muscat grapes are usually priced at least 3000 yen or more, but these were only 1296 yen. Naturally, I bought them (laughs). I also purchased some good-looking tomatoes.
- Shine Muscat grapes:
Weight: 500g (after removing the stems)
Produced in Fukushima Prefecture. The sweetness is slightly less compared to peak season, but still sufficiently sweet. It tastes similar to the Shine Muscat used for cakes. Price: 1296 yen (tax included)
- Tomatoes:
Quite flavorful
5 pieces
Price: 540 yen (tax included)
Shine Muscat grapes always taste delicious no matter when you eat them. These grapes were priced at an incredible 1296 yen per bunch. Even during peak season sales at department stores, they are usually around 1800 yen. I wonder how much they would cost at retail stores. I look forward to trying a different fruit next time. Hopefully, Shine Muscat grapes will still be sold at a reasonable price. Thank you for the delicious meal.
