This is a café in Kotobuki-cho. I had been curious about it for a while, but after seeing a Facebook post a few days ago, I decided to go check it out. The interior of the café has a counter and two tables. There are also seats in the back, but it feels more like an office back there. There are many medaka fish and shrimp in the aquarium inside the café. Outside the window, sparrows were pecking at food. The owner and the lady are very friendly. They seem to love animals, so we got along well. What caught my attention was the menu. They have quirky names like "Oink Oink Donburi" for pork rice bowl, "Moo Moo Set" for Genghis Khan set, and "Kari Mero" for an omelette rice dish. And all the dishes are around 500 yen, very affordable. I was interested in the "West Soba with grated radish and chili oil," but they couldn't get spicy radish, so they couldn't make it. Maybe they are quite particular about their ingredients? Next, I ordered the "Yamabuki," which is dry curry with curry sauce on top. It looked quite stylish, served with curry, salad, and a fried egg on one plate. It also came with fukujinzuke, pickled daikon, and cucumber pickles on the side. They really put effort into their dishes. The curry was lightly seasoned to allow the curry sauce to blend well. Curry lovers would definitely enjoy this. It was much tastier than I expected. I definitely want to try the West Soba next time. I'm also curious about the shoyu ramen.
