This is a Chinese restaurant located on the first floor of Yakult Building in Sapporo. They offer a great value lunch menu during the day, and reservation-only banquet options in the evening. I visited this restaurant for a business dinner and enjoyed dishes such as ankake yakisoba, mapo tofu, and shrimp with mayonnaise. Every dish was delicious and disappeared from the table as soon as it was served. Our group drank a lot, so much so that they ran out of beer for the all-you-can-drink option. If I have the chance, I would definitely visit this restaurant again!

There is a building with a big "Yakult" sign on the north side of Odori Park West 6-chome. It seems familiar somehow... I've seen this building before~♬ (in the style of Chokopla) Inside that building, there is actually a food court, so I decided to go there for lunch. The shop is located in Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Odori Nishi 6-chome, on the 2nd floor of Odori Park Building. It's called "Odori Park Building Food House". The official website is also available. It seems like a company cafeteria, but anyone can use it. Inside, there are two Chinese restaurants and a coffee shop. Among the Chinese menu, today I will have the "Vegetable Ramen (Salt)" for 850 yen. A small bowl of rice is served for free during lunchtime. When your pager rings, you go pick up your order, just like a food court style. A red stainless steel bowl filled with vegetable-packed salt ramen. Let's dig in♪ First, the soup. Hot! The hot soup is thick with fragrant oil. It's a salt soup made with chicken bones and aromatic vegetables. The saltiness is strong, but it's quite delicious. The noodles are medium-thick curly noodles. An orthodox type of noodles, but it goes well with the soup. However, since the soup is hot, I slurp while breathing. The vegetable-rich ingredients include Chinese cabbage, carrots, greens, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, onions, wood ear mushrooms, and shimeji mushrooms. Plus, two narutomaki. As expected from a vegetable ramen, there is no meat at all. A bit disappointing(^^;) The oil makes the chopsticks slippery. As you eat, the sweetness and moisture of the vegetables make the taste milder. Next, I dump the rice in and finish it off. So once again, I finish every last drop of soup and every last grain of rice, delicious~(*´∀｀*) Another clean plate. What a "lunch at an office building food court". A hot and hearty bowl for the working folks. At 850 yen in a food court, the cost performance is a bit low(^^;) Also, if you eat at this food court, you can get half-price coffee at Takagi Coffee located in the same place. On a certain weekday, I had lunch at a Chinese restaurant located in a small building food court at Odori West 6-chome. I had visited this place before and it seems to serve a cafeteria-like role. It recently replaced a set meal style restaurant, and I was curious about how they would coexist. On this day, I decided to try the "Daily Special (850 yen)" which was the "Spicy Stir-Fried Thinly Sliced Pork". Taking a bite, I found the main dish, a typical "Qingjiao Rousi", to be pleasantly within expectations. It had a slight spicy finish with chili oil, and the thinly sliced celery added a unique touch, along with carrots, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and wood ear mushrooms. The salad seemed pre-made with a Chinese-style dressing, and the side dishes included shrimp shumai, pickled vegetables, egg drop soup with a hint of alcohol, and I opted out of the free extra rice. I couldn't help but notice that the neighboring Chinese restaurant had a slightly different menu structure, making me wonder why they were placed side by side. Nevertheless, I plan to visit the other restaurant next time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Daikou in Oodori West 6-chome. I knew about this place because I had coffee at Takagi Coffee before. There is a restaurant called Nishiroku Kitchen next to it, but the employees seem to be the same? It's the same Chinese food, is Daikou a double-named restaurant with Nishiroku Kitchen? I ordered the Five-Ingredient Ankake Yakisoba for 850 yen including tax at Daikou, but the receipt says Nishiroku Kitchen... I came at night, but for some reason I was charged the lunch price (^-^) It's supposed to be 900 yen! Is this lucky? Haha, I'll donate the 50 yen I saved ^_^ The food was served in about 10 minutes. It looks like it's full of ingredients (*´∇｀*) The shimeji mushrooms make a big impression! With garlic sprouts and wood ear mushrooms, it looks delicious! Let's dig in. The seasoning is perfect, the noodles are firm with a nice char, which I really like! The shrimp is firm and bouncy, just like Precure. Ankake yakisoba definitely needs impactful shrimp! The shimeji mushrooms are cooked just right, with a double firmness feeling ^_^ The mustard goes well with it too! The egg soup was also delicious ^_^ I am very satisfied with this meal! Lunch menu items are all 850 yen each: Ebi Ankake Ramen, with options of Shio or Shoyu, Vegetable Ramen, Gomoku Ankake Gohan, and Katsu Curry. I ordered the Ebi Ankake Ramen for 850 yen. You can get a free small rice with your lunch. After paying, I was given a buzzer. The buzzer went off quickly. The ramen had 4-5 shrimp, ham, cabbage, greens, carrots, wood ear mushrooms, and ginger. The shrimp didn't have much bounce. The soup was hot with a strong salty taste and a hint of ginger. It was high in salt and oil. The noodles were cooked firm and smooth. The rice was cooked firm, making it difficult to eat with chopsticks.
