It was a hot day, but for some reason I felt like eating takoyaki. The combination of mentaiko and cheese was surprisingly good. Usually, it's so hot that I feel like I might burn myself, but today it wasn't that hot. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I had Takoyaki. I'm not a big fan of Takoyaki, but sometimes you just have to eat it for various reasons. Looking at the menu, I noticed that I tend to go for plain options. Today, I ordered the "Absolutely Delicious Takoyaki @580". The name itself is a bit off-putting, but I guess modesty is key. I'll refrain from using any harsh words. Anyway, let's give it a try. The taste of this Takoyaki is consistent as always, but my only complaint is that they fried the Takoyaki. Fried Takoyaki should be listed as "Fried Takoyaki" on the menu. Despite this, the dish wasn't bad, and the fact that this place has multiple locations shows that it's well-established. Food culture evolves over time, and while new dishes may emerge, it's important to preserve traditional recipes. I just don't want them to start frying Takoyaki. Overall, it was a decent meal.

I came to Hassamu Ion. It's been a while since I last visited Hassamu Ion! I didn't have much time that day, so I went for a walk in Nishi Ward. Gindako was open, so I started with a snack. I had 8 pieces of takoyaki for 580 yen with wasabi mayo, and then headed to the food court. There were only a few people in the food court. It's early in the day, so not many people are here! The takoyaki was freshly made, so it was piping hot! I burnt the roof of my mouth with the first one I ate (≧∀≦) Even though I knew takoyaki is hot, I couldn't resist eating one right away, haha. This time, the takoyaki had a good size octopus in it. Gindako's takoyaki is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, which is delicious, but what's even better is the wasabi mayo! It has a good amount of spiciness which is great! I love Bikkuri Donkey's mayo too, but this one is also good! So, starting with carbs is the perfect preparation for exercise. Thank you for the meal! 😊

This is a Takoyaki restaurant inside Ion Mall. They don't have highballs or anything, just regular Takoyaki for takeout. The menu is very normal, but the Takoyaki is delicious.

I love the hot and gooey takoyaki from Gindako, but the must-try menu item every time is definitely the croissant taiyaki! The crispy outer layer with a chewy inside and the square shape with the taiyaki floating on top is a great visual. The combination of croissant and custard cream in the taiyaki is so good! Is croissant taiyaki a Japanese sweet or a Western sweet...? You must try this dish at least once. It was delicious, thank you for the meal!

Around 6:30 pm on New Year's Day, a friend and I visited the restaurant. It was our fifth stop on a food tour with my best friend in January. We ordered a regular portion of sauce yakisoba for a total of 500 yen. The dish was well presented, tasty, generous in portion size, and warm. The waiting time was 30 minutes. The service was good, and the customers were of all ages and genders. The menu included takoyaki, yakisoba, croissant taiyaki, and drinks. The restaurant had easy access to parking (shared with Aeon Happo store) and was also easy to enter alone. I don't have sauce yakisoba in my area, so when passing by, I decided to have a light dinner at Gindaco. Despite the long line on New Year's Day, we decided to wait. Most customers were getting takeout. While waiting in line, we could see them making takoyaki, which made us want to try it. My friend had the croissant taiyaki. Due to the crowd, the yakisoba was taking a bit longer to prepare, but it was okay with us. They asked about adding seaweed and pickled ginger, but I declined seaweed as I was eating in and didn't want it to get stuck in my teeth. The eat-in area was a bit chaotic, with a large cardboard box taking up space. The yakisoba finally arrived, and despite its dark color, it was surprisingly light and not greasy. It had a good amount of meat, crunchy cabbage, and bean sprouts. The noodles were thick and chewy. It was delicious! Looking at other people's photos, I realized it was meant for takeout, but we didn't mention it, and it seemed like other couples eating in had the same setup. Perhaps it was a New Year's Day crowd control measure?

Today, I had made plans to go for yakiniku with my best friend in the evening, but before that, I was feeling a little hungry so I stopped by to buy a snack. Although there was an eat-in area, I wanted to have it with the cola I had at home, so I opted for takeout. - Date and time of visit: August 31, 2014 (Sunday) / After 3 pm - Purpose: Takeout for a snack - Order: 6 pieces of takoyaki (450 yen) - Time from ordering to serving: About 3 minutes - Feedback on the dish: The outer fried layer is quite crispy, almost too crispy with a thick texture that lingers in your mouth until the end. I think it would be better if it was a bit thinner. The inside is nice and gooey. The octopus has a firm texture and a strong presence. I always think that the cost performance is not good. It goes really well with cola though. - Recommended points: There is also an eat-in area. Located inside a shopping mall, it's a good place to have a snack after shopping. My dentist advised me to avoid cola, but I just can't stop drinking it (>_<)

Sapporo, Nishi Ward, Hassamu, Gourmet Zone on the 1st floor of AEON Hassamu. There are various shops, making it convenient to stop by after shopping. Across from Tsukiji Gindaco AEON Hassamu store, the revolving sushi restaurant Nagoyaka-tei is always crowded, with a line forming even on this day. It's really popular, huh~ I absentmindedly thought as I walked by, then... Oh, it smells good. Like a festival... a nice smell of burnt sauce. What should I do? I suddenly felt like eating it and was drawn to it. Gindaco Takoyaki regular takoyaki comes with a big octopus inside, 8 pieces for 550 yen including tax. It's been a while since I last visited, but were there this many varieties of takoyaki? Teritama... 620 yen, Yuzu oroshi... 620 yen, Negidako... 620 yen, Cheese mentaiko... 620 yen, Ume oroshi... 620 yen, Seafood Japanese-style dashi negi mayo... 620 yen. There are also party packs with 16 or 24 pieces which are a bit more cost-effective. Oh, that's right!!! I wanted to try the croissant taiyaki here. I remembered and also thought the yakisoba looked delicious~ Okonomiyaki soba was also purchased. I wanted to try the croissant taiyaki once. I like the taiyaki here in the first place! The croissant taiyaki (I think it was 210 yen) has a big size with a crust that is crispy and coated with a shiny sugar coat on the surface like a Danish pastry. I got it from the stock that was already baked, and the crispy sugar coat on the surface gives it a strange texture like freshly baked, quite sweet but the red bean paste inside is also warm and delicious. The yakisoba and takoyaki were for dinner at home. The regular menu takoyaki has a crispy crust, a soft inside, a firm octopus, and is as delicious as ever. The yakisoba is made to order, so I had to wait a bit, but it also has plenty of vegetables, the top egg is thinly cooked, the sweetness of the okonomi sauce is just right, oh, it's quite delicious~ After a long time, Gindaco is delicious♪ It's good to order before shopping and pick it up after shopping. I'll visit again.

I didn't know that Gin Dako had such unique taiyaki. Croissant taiyaki starting from 200 yen is also good as a souvenir. Even after some time, the crust remains crispy, the sugar is fragrant, and the red bean paste inside the dough is chewy. There is also cream, and both go well with croissant. It has a thin texture and is not too heavy. It's a new sensation taiyaki. A dessert taiyaki! It seems like they might come out with one with shiratama (rice flour dumplings) in the future, haha. It's exquisite. Maybe it's not well-known yet? I recommend it. It seems to be unexpectedly crowded, so be prepared to wait when you buy it.

In Sapporo, there are few shops that sell flour-based foods like taiyaki, okonomiyaki, and takoyaki. "Tsukiji Gindako" is a rare takoyaki shop in Sapporo, often seen in large supermarkets. I bought yakisoba for the first time at Gindako. This shop is located in the Hakkō area of Sapporo's Nishi Ward, on the first floor of Aeon Mall Hakkō store. For the exact location of the shop, please check on Tabelog. There are about 13 seats in the shop for dining in. I ordered a large serving of sauce yakisoba for takeout. The yakisoba was made fresh, not pre-made. I paid first and waited in the dining area for it to be ready. I watched them cook it a little bit along the way. They placed cabbage and vegetables on the iron plate without stir-frying them, then added the noodles, poured sauce over them, and cooked them again. They added vegetables, mixed lightly, and it was ready. The sauce yakisoba in large serving had thick noodles, possibly steamed noodles. There was no burnt part on the noodles. The vegetables included cabbage and bean sprouts, and the pork was cut into long pieces. It was served with pickled ginger and seaweed. I ate it about 5 hours after buying it, and the bean sprouts were still very crunchy and delicious. The cabbage was also quite crunchy. The taste was not too strong or salty, surprisingly refreshing and mild, but delicious. The price for a large serving was 580 yen, and it had a surprisingly delicious taste that did not seem like it had been sitting for a while. The way the vegetables were cooked was excellent. Usually, the taste deteriorates as time passes, but it still tasted great. The taiyaki was 600 yen for 8 pieces, a bit expensive compared to Osaka's prices. Despite the good taste, it would be helpful if it were a bit cheaper. This was my first time trying Gindako's yakisoba, and for 580 yen for a large serving, it was more than enough. I would like to try other Gindako shops as well. They provided two pairs of chopsticks without having to ask, which pleased my usual dining companion. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

This year, a new store opened across from Nagoyaka-tei on the first floor. There is no eating space, only take-out. It's convenient to stop by on the first floor, but it's a shame that there is no space to eat hot food. I wish they had a food court on the third floor. The counter faces the aisle, making it a bit embarrassing to order. There is no waiting area, so you have to wander around in the aisle. When I went, it wasn't crowded, so they made the food after I ordered. It took a bit of time, but I got to eat it freshly made. The crispy surface and juicy inside are the taste of Gindako. I go there to buy when I feel like eating it occasionally.

"Are you stupid?? It's written Tsukiji, right??" I was so angry at being made fun of by the kids in front of me when I was young, so I blurted out, "Hey kids, your mom is a diva, you know." Their reaction? They were like, "That's so dumb..." I felt like I won at that moment. I didn't come to Sapporo because my mom was a diva, but to attend an event. There was a big difference in the amount of time spent between my wife and me, so I took this opportunity to make some money. My target was the Aeon Hassamu store where I could pick up a lot at once. Today, I brought a cooler box and a huge one that I just bought for camping. But where I'm going next is Gindaco, where there is no option to take it home. You have to eat it on the spot, and that's it. So, what's the deal... even I, a studious person, won't recklessly explode this stupidly hot thing in my mouth. While saying "Ho ho ho," I chew carefully. I no longer devour it like I did when I was young. It's crispy... can it be considered in the category of takoyaki? My head hurts when I think about it, so I pretend not to care. It's delicious... crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and I'm good at stopping just before it bursts. I successfully finished eating it... The end.

A few years ago, when I first tried it at the Hassamu store, I was so shocked that I stayed away, but I convinced myself that it was a failure, and I tried takeout for the first time in a while. However... it was still terrible. I have eaten takoyaki in many places, but the takoyaki here is hollow inside, so a small piece of octopus rolls around inside. It turns out that the previous time was not a failure, but this is how this restaurant makes it. Takoyaki that is so empty and lacking in texture is not good.
