I was invited to a dinner in Kitami and the hotel was taken care of for me. I checked in early and had some time to myself before the next gathering. The place for the second meeting didn't look great from the outside, but it turned out to be quite nice. For the third round, we ended up at a snack bar. I don't really want to call it a snack bar, but that's what I ended up registering it as. It was run by a nice lady who offered all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-sing, with food included, for 3000 yen. It seemed cheap at first, but it wasn't really that cheap. I didn't feel like singing, so I just drank without eating and had a good time. She was a really nice lady, so I have no complaints.
