In October 2015, there is a butcher shop in the Onneyu Onsen area. It seems that during the cherry blossom season, people in Onneyu Onsen enjoy eating Genghis Khan while viewing the Ezomurasaki Tsutsuji flowers at the festival. Inside the shop, they sell pre-seasoned lamb for 1,200 yen per pack. It turns out that it is manufactured by Marukita in Kitami. It may not be an original product of the shop. I tried grilling it with vegetables as usual. The seasoning is not too strong with garlic, and it has a fragrant aroma of white sesame. The meat is tender and has no strong taste, making it an easy-to-eat Genghis Khan. It goes well with beer or shochu rather than rice.

When I returned home, there was Genghis Khan on the table. My wife said, "You're going to take a picture, right?" I understand the intention, but can't you even write something like this? I took the picture anyway. I was organizing the photos and happened to check on Tabelog. Oh, it's registered? That's impressive, a true expert from Hokkaido. In that case, I'll join in. Was it produced in Asahikawa? I didn't bother with a Genghis Khan pot, I used a frying pan. I cooked it with bean sprouts. It turned out surprisingly tender and not too tough. It was quite a satisfying lamb. It was a bit salty, but I don't eat rice, so of course, I had it with beer. It went well with the Genghis Khan. I was happy that it was tender. That was the Genghis Khan I had.
