Asahikawa Harete is a series of restaurants. I visited several stores, and by chance, I found out about a fair at a sushi restaurant on social media, so I made a reservation and visited. I couldn't drink alcohol because I had to drive home from work, which was a shame. The shrimp was delicious. The fish and shellfish dishes had a nicely balanced salty taste that made me want to drink. The grilled dish afterwards had cheese sauce, which was a perfect balance. The sushi was also very elaborate, with some items being seared and the flavors were excellent. After finishing the meal, I felt like I wanted to eat more. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal! ^^

I ordered warm sake for 550 yen, flounder for 440 yen, and the texture of the sushi rice was good. I also had fish roe for 330 yen, and it was interesting how the spilled fish roe became part of the dish. I accidentally soaked the seaweed while enjoying the spilled fish roe. The mackerel for 220 yen was worth it. I ordered a second warm sake here. I had black wagyu sirloin for 660 yen as sashimi, and it was surprising that despite looking fatty, it wasn't greasy. The two types of condiments served with it left a good impression. For dessert, I had a cucumber roll for 330 yen with lots of wasabi and perfectly balanced seaweed. The total bill came to 3,080 yen. Thank you for the meal.

The event "Local Sake Excitement Campaign" is running until the end of January, offering a great deal on sets of Japanese sake and snacks. My usual drinking buddies don't really like sashimi or sushi, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to try something different. First off, the Perfect Suntory Beer for 550 yen (tax included) was just right with its amount of foam. Although it was served in a tumbler... I ordered a set, but my friends wanted to order non-sashimi dishes individually, but were told to order for the whole group. The campaign menu for 1000 yen (tax included) includes a glass of local sake, umeshu, and sashimi. The sake served here was Hekikura (Tokachi Kamikawa Taisetsu) honjozo, served in a unique sake vessel warmed by hot water. The taste was easy to drink with no strong flavors. The umeshu was smaller than expected, and the sashimi included scallops, salmon, and herring on the day I visited. The salmon was delicious without being too fatty, but the freshness of the herring was a bit questionable. I got a feel for the atmosphere of the restaurant and left quickly as I had other plans.

This is a sushi restaurant called "Asahikawa Harete". It was the second stop of the day, and since the first place we went to was a meat restaurant, we were in the mood for some seafood. I was there for the second time, while my companion had been there a few times before. We were greeted and seated at the counter. We ordered a "draft beer" (550 yen) for me and a "green tea gin" (550 yen) for my companion to cheers! There were no appetizers, so we decided to order from the menu. They were having a "Pacific saury festival", and there were other seasonal appetizers available as well. We ordered the "Pacific saury namero" (660 yen) and the "mackerel sashimi with ponzu sauce" (880 yen). The Pacific saury namero was prepared by the chef grating the saury and carefully removing the bones. It was mixed with miso, ginger, and green onions, and had a great flavor without any fishy taste. The mackerel sashimi with ponzu sauce was my first time trying it this year, and it was delicious. The mackerel was white and had a rich flavor that melted in your mouth. It made me crave more sake, so I ordered the "Chiyomusubi Konaki Junmai Karakuchi" (660 yen). The chef also mentioned that they had "herring roe in soy sauce" available, which sounded interesting, so we ordered it as well. It had a unique and rich flavor that was hard to describe. The dish also included "shad roe", which was a rare treat. We were then recommended to try the various types of chilled sake they had, so we ordered the "Suigei Ginrei Akiagari" (880 yen) and the "Mitsui no Koto Aki Junmai Porcini" (880 yen). We ended our meal with some sushi, including "icefish" (330 yen), "saltwater sea urchin" (660 yen), "Ishigaki red snapper" (440 yen), and "Pacific saury" (330 yen). It was a great experience enjoying delicious appetizers, sushi, and sake in a casual setting at this restaurant!

Opened on July 10th at "Asahikawa Harete," a sushi restaurant called "Oborozuki." It is the only sushi restaurant in Harete, and I was looking forward to visiting. The restaurant has a counter seat and two table seats, and it is not a very large restaurant, but I thought the chef's skill was outstanding. First, I ordered a "Suntory Malt" (500 yen). There is no appetizer, which is nice. Let's order some appetizers. "Assorted sashimi plate 3 items" (1,580 yen) .. tuna, scallop, and mackerel. Each item has 2 slices, but the slices are very thick. The freshness of the ingredients is good, and the scallop with a sweet taste and the well-cooked mackerel were satisfying. I wanted to drink a dry sake, so I ordered "Chiyomusubi Konaki Junmai Dry" (660 yen). They use a very nice sake cup. It shines with gold leaf, and the chef selected it. The impression changes with the sake cup, right? When I asked the chef for a recommended appetizer, he said that the "warayaki" is delicious. Currently, "bonito" is being served, but he wants to provide seasonal fish with "warayaki." "Bonito Warayaki" (660 yen) .. steamed and smoked with straw stuck on a skewer. It has a crispy and fragrant taste. The inside is rare, but it has a different deliciousness from Tataki. You receive the sushi on a transparent sushi plate, not on wood. I ordered "Salmon" (220 yen), "Red Snapper" (330 yen), "Sea Urchin" (660 yen), and "Herring" (330 yen). The sushi is small and elegant. The sea urchin is from Shikotsu, and the herring is served with a cut in the middle, which may be unusual. The slices are thick, and it's quite good, isn't it? It was a night with bad weather, but there were various customers enjoying the omakase or ordering their favorite dishes for a short time. I think it's a casual place where you can enjoy sushi and appetizers!

I hope Harete in Asahikawa does well. When I visited for the second time, it seemed to be the only sushi restaurant around. The seafood bowl costs 1650 yen and during lunchtime they don't serve sushi. I asked to change the salmon to mackerel in my seafood bowl. The price might change, but that's okay. The mackerel and yellowtail in the bowl had tails, and the vinegar rice was too soft. It felt like a complete disappointment. Well, onto the next place! Thank you for the meal.

The new store in Asahikawa is easy to enter and has good cost performance. The scallops and herring were delicious and perfect for snacking.

We canceled our 1 PM reservation at Daisetsuzan CC due to heavy snow and instead had a lunch drinking session with our guests and dad. It was delicious, thank you for the meal. Next, we went to Ginneko for our second round.

Cost-effective sushi restaurant. Also, the handling or Asahikawa Harete. It seems like a good opportunity for young people who wanted to have their own restaurant. However, it would be better to have someone cleaning the toilet rather than guiding people to the restaurant. The cleanliness of the toilet is crucial in the food and beverage industry. Good luck to Mr. Sugimura Daizo. The concept is good, so I hope they continue. This restaurant seems reasonably priced and worth recommending. The recommended dishes were great. The visit was during the Hikarimono season. The sardine sushi roll was delicious! The sardine had a good balance of fat and no strong taste. It paired well with the pickled ginger. The amount of cucumber was well-balanced, and you could eat it endlessly. The sashimi platter with three types was good. The tuna was tasty, a proper tuna. I hesitated as I had eaten at a famous restaurant the day before, but it was delicious. Compared to other famous restaurants in the city, this place might have better cost-effectiveness. The scallop was good, although I remember the ones from Aomori being better, it had a good sweetness. The sea bream was also delicious. If you order the sashimi platter or the chef's recommendation, it seems like a very cost-effective place. However, since it's run by one person and the pace of the chef is unique, it might get crowded and you may have to wait. Keep that in mind and enjoy a leisurely meal with delicious snacks and drinks.
