On a day when I saw Korean cuisine being introduced on a certain TV show and really wanted to eat it, I did some research and found that Korean cuisine is often priced high. However, this particular restaurant was relatively affordable, so I made a reservation and visited. The location was quite far south in Susukino. The exterior had a glittering neon sign, and the interior had only one group at 18:30. The seating consisted of drum-like chairs and tables, giving off a street food vibe. The restaurant was clean. K-POP music videos played in the background. I was told to order using QR codes on my smartphone. When I tried to order, most of the dishes I wanted were sold out. It seemed strange that they would run out on the same day, so perhaps they never had them in stock to begin with. I had wanted to try the Chukumi, but was disappointed when it arrived - two small baby octopuses skewered with plenty of space in between. The other menu items also looked disappointing in the photos. I ended up ordering one drink and three dishes that seemed safe. The appetizers came in small dishes, but I forgot to take a photo and can't remember what was in them. The Kimchi Jeon was overpriced at 490 yen and something I could make at home. The Japchae was the only dish I still found tasty, with proper beef in it and a sweet flavor. The Sundubu Jjigae was bland and lacked flavor, especially for 490 yen. I left the restaurant soon after eating. I doubt I'll be going back. It's a shame because with some improvements, they could attract more customers. They should have informed customers in advance if certain items were not available, and there were too many items missing from the menu. They relied too much on mobile ordering and lacked proper communication.

Visited on February 14, 2023, the newly opened Korean restaurant "Anju Shokudo" in Susukino is located on the 7th street, next to Kingmu. The restaurant has been boldly renovated from the former sumo hotpot restaurants "Hokkaido Fuji" and "Hokkaido Ittenshin". The atmosphere reminds one of a Korean casual dining place, appealing to young people and women. Orders are placed through QR code scanning, which is becoming more common nowadays. The prices are quite affordable, making it wallet-friendly. The menu includes seafood pancake, samgyeopsal, kanjatseu, yakano oden, kimbap, chukumi, yangnyeom chicken, yakitori, spinach namul, specialty stew with rice, and all-you-can-drink option. The food was delicious and the all-you-can-drink option was great value for money.

I visited a full-fledged Korean izakaya that opened last December. The food is incredibly delicious! I was surprised by the amount of appetizers they serve, it could almost fill you up. Apparently, this is a normal amount in Korea! The restaurant is spacious with counter seats as well. The staff are all cheerful and I really like them. I recommend the Kimbap, Seafood Pancake, and Yangnyeom Chicken! Actually, everything is delicious! Even on weekdays, it's quite crowded and despite being newly opened, it's a popular spot. Korean beer is easy to drink and tasty! I always end up staying longer than planned. Definitely going to be a repeat customer!

There weren't many shops open, so I decided to try this one. The place is spacious with raised seating in the back. Orders are done through a QR code on your phone. Additionally, they automatically add you on LINE. They offer 5 types of punch, and you can get refills, but you have to change your plate. I ordered Chapchae which was rich and flavorful. The yakitori was okay, but it felt like frozen food. The staff were polite and attentive. This place might be better for group courses. Thank you for the meal!

Visited by enthusiastic people on December 7, 2022, this place is located next to King○ー where they gather. The opening hours are until 12 PM. They do not operate late at night because nearby guys who failed in hunting stick around here until the first train of the subway starts running and just sleep, so they decided not to stay open until morning. They serve a 5-item appetizer set♪ Carrot Namul, Daikon in sweet vinegar, Bean sprout Namul, Kimchi, and Onion Namul. The Onion Namul and Daikon in sweet vinegar are especially delicious lol I made a mistake by ordering the Namul assortment without knowing that those would be served. The Namul assortment includes Bean sprout Namul, Spinach Namul, and Carrot Namul lol Spinach is the only one that didn't overlap lol Next, I ordered Takkochi, which is Korean grilled chicken skewers. It's reasonably priced at 160 yen per skewer with a spicy seasoning. I ordered chicken, pork, chicken tail, and hormone skewers. Both the chicken tail and hormone skewers were delicious. I also ordered Bulgogi. It came with about 4 pieces of lettuce leaves lol It's delicious to wrap meat in leaves, isn't it (*^^*) I also asked for rice. My already full stomach became even fuller. (^_^;) There is also an option for all-you-can-drink drinks. The prices for individual items are not high. The prices for the food are reasonable, so I think it's a safe place to dine. Recently, there have been many not-so-good restaurants opening up, but I think this one is a good place. (*^^*)

In Sapporo, it's rare to find authentic Korean cuisine that is both affordable and offers individual servings of samgyupsal. It's truly a gem! They also serve Chamisul and Terra, which is a bonus. The cost performance is excellent. Highly recommended!
