This is a review from a repeat customer. According to the description from Feel, the shop is run by Mr. Ryuya Abe, who used to work at "Washijo Kataoka" in the same tenant space. Like when it was "Kataoka," the items displayed at the shop are generally in a cold state, except for freshly made ones, but the flavors are distinct and delicious. It seems like the flavors are determined with the assumption that they will be eaten in a cooled state rather than reheated. I have visited "Kataoka" a few times, but I found the flavors at "Hashigo Abe" to be more familiar and to my liking. The side dishes are sold in 100g packs. ○ Rice balls (Okaka, Salmon) 150 yen - A small size perfect for a light snack. ◎ Rice balls (Wakame, Shirasu) 150 yen - The texture of wakame and the saltiness are just right. ◎ Stir-fried squid and tomato 300 yen - A sophisticated stir-fry seasoned with garlic, coarse-ground pepper, powdered cheese, and parsley. This is my favorite! ◎ Simmered dried tofu 240 yen - Includes shiitake mushrooms and red bell peppers. The plump and tender dried tofu has a gentle sweetness but is infused with a rich dashi flavor. ○ White fish and fluffy tempura with wild vegetables in a sauce 200 yen - Includes leeks, warabi, zenmai, thin bamboo shoots, and wood ear mushrooms. The rich sauce clings to the tender fish tempura. ○ Ginger and bamboo shoot simmered dish 120 yen - Includes ginger, bamboo shoots, and konjac. Seasoned with chili peppers, sesame seeds, and bonito flakes, the sweet and savory flavor is enhanced by the crunchy texture. ◎ Rolled omelet 170 yen - A half-size of a large dashimaki tamago. The restrained sweetness is elegant, and it remains soft and juicy even when cold! ◎ Shrimp and pickled radish roll 250 yen - Comes with two pieces of pickled radish, equivalent to two rice balls. Made with yukari rice, shrimp tempura, and shiso leaves, it creates an indescribable harmony. ○ Burdock root with sesame miso dressing 240 yen - The crunchy burdock root is coated in a flavorful sesame miso dressing. ○ Furofuki oden 300 yen - The daikon radish soaked in broth is soft and tender. Includes one piece of daikon and one egg. There are only a few seats, but you can also eat in at the counter. They offer bento boxes, soba, and tempura.
