In June 2018, I visited a restaurant called "Yururi-an" located across from Tsukushi Makita in Hanazono, which has apparently been operating for 2 years. Despite this, my bait and fishnet did not catch their attention at all. I would like to introduce this shop, which is making its debut on Tabelog, as the lovely female owner kindly suggested I could write a review. The staff, consisting of three women, are all wonderful. The parking lot is about 50 meters away from the restaurant, located on a steep slope next to Seiryo Junior High School, making it easy to get lost even for locals. The restaurant is housed in an old traditional house and has a cat inside, giving it a similar vibe to a curry shop in Takashima. Originally, it seems that this place was offering various health-related products under the name "Kenko Ouen-sha," and the food they serve is part of that initiative. Looking at the menu, fermented foods and raw foods are the main focus, which seem to be beneficial for the body. I ordered the following dish:
- Mixed Grain Burger Mini Plate (1,200 yen)
First, they served amazake, which was surprisingly easy to drink and had no strong taste. Then, they brought out miso soup with the miso served separately. I was told that miso loses its beneficial enzymes if boiled above 70 degrees. Even without adding miso, the soup was delicious thanks to the kombu broth. The mini plate included fresh spring roll salad, marinated celery, udo plum and sesame, potato and enoki mushroom stew, egg tofu, spicy bean balls, five-grain burgers, brown rice, and a dessert of simmered sweet potatoes and apples. Honestly, I usually avoid this type of natural food as it's not my favorite, but I decided to visit this time based on the recommendation of a friend who said, "It's so delicious that I want to go there every day." The dishes on this plate were genuinely delicious, without any flattery. I thought the use of salt was skillful, as otherwise, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the brown rice as much (laughs). The "Spicy Mixed Grain Onigiri" I took home was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, with a curry flavor that was quite enjoyable. If I could eat here every day, my lifespan might even increase! That's how much I felt that the food I ate this time would make my body happy. I think this place is a hidden gem for natural and health-conscious people.
