It seems like a cream puff shop, but I bought 4 types of cakes. Eclair, apple pie, strawberry shortcake, chocolate cake. One free cold pack for takeout, additional packs are charged. When I got home, my husband and I each had two. I had the eclair and chocolate cake, they were delicious. I want to try something else next time!

After the end of the self-restraint period, I finally went out and visited a bakery. They had alcohol disinfectant available, but I noticed that the cream puffs and eclairs were still being served in a self-serve style with tongs, even though they were covered with plastic wrap. I really wanted to eat a cream puff, so I did. It bothers me a bit though! I wish they would package the cream puffs in a box like they do with the cakes, instead of having customers use tongs to pick them up. I don't know who has touched them before me.

I didn't eat the cream puffs. I bought churros instead. The cream puffs were sold out, what a shame. The churros were crispy and crunchy, quite hard at first. But they get tastier as you eat them. They have plain and chocolate flavors, but I think plain is better. Next time, I'll try the cream puffs and churros.

It was around spring this year when a confectionery shop opened on the first floor of Aeon. When this floor was renovated, Caldi and this shop opened as new stores. It's called "Umeya Kitami Aeon Store", with the main store located in Asahikawa. It might be the first store in Okhotsk? The sales floor is not very large. Inside the bright glass case, cream puffs are lined up as the main attraction. I bought a few to take home. I tried the cream puffs in a bag. The bag says, "Established in the third year of Taisho. Traditional taste with the spirit of craftsmen. Umeya specialty 'shu-kuri-mu'. The cream puff is moist, with a thin crust. The custard cream is plentiful and milky! Next time, I will buy one that is not in a bag.

I was once at a shopping mall and got in a bad mood after eating expensive soft serve ice cream, so I ended up not buying cream puffs from a shop that caught my eye. Today, should we stop by that cream puff shop? They have a variety of cream puffs, so let's get two mixed ones. The two women working there in the countryside are polite and well-trained, which makes the experience pleasant. I even got a loyalty card and will definitely come back again. However, when I got home, my sister was there and I only bought two cream puffs, so I ended up giving one to her. I can't write about it if I don't taste it myself. The appearance is normal, with no fancy decorations. Anyway, I have to go back and buy more. This time, I bought "cream" and "mixed" cream puffs. The cream puff with "cream" is not too sweet, which is rare. It feels light, maybe due to the lack of sweetness. The pastry is crispy and delicious. The "mixed" cream puff, on the other hand, is sweet with powdered sugar on top, making it delicious. Next time, I might try the "cream" and "pie choux". They provide free ice packs if it takes more than an hour to eat the cream puff. Is that common now? (sweat)

In May 2016, a branch of Umeya, a long-established confectionery shop with its main store in Asahikawa, opened at Aeon Kitami. The shop specializes in cream puffs, with around 10 different varieties available. Despite its small size, the shop has a stylish atmosphere and offers a wide range of products including cakes and baked goods. I purchased a custard puff, chocolate puff, cream puff, and eclair, all priced around 150-200 yen each. The custard puff had a crispy crust and silky custard filling, which was quite delicious. I also found the Japanese sugar roll cake and cube cake intriguing and would like to try them if I have the chance.

I went to the shop based on Kensan's review. It was crowded. The original items in a vinyl bag are priced at 100 yen, while others range from 150 yen. The shoe ice cream looks delicious too. It's like a bakery where you pick and place items on a tray before going to the cashier. I chose cookie shoe and pie shoe (just two pieces). While waiting, I noticed the "eclair" in the display case (served by the staff) for 200 yen, with plenty of cream on top, and thought, "Maybe I should have gotten that instead." After purchasing, I realized that next door is Yagizuki, and they have a cake section (glances over). It seemed quite affordable, with a shortcake priced at 210 yen. "Maybe I should have gotten that instead." When I got home and tried them, they were delicious! The more expensive ones are really good. My husband prefers the cookie shoe, but I like the sweet and salty pie shoe better. The ratio of cream is just right.
