I chose Blend B for my hot coffee with egg sandwich and mille-feuille cutlet sandwich because I like it strong. The egg sandwich was delicious as usual, but the mille-feuille cutlet sandwich was pre-made and cold... It's not cheap either. I wonder if it's difficult to make it right before serving.

Cafe Miyadaya, located inside Sapporo Factory, is a popular spot in downtown Sapporo. I visited during lunchtime and tried their hamburger curry, which was delicious. The hamburger was soft and almost felt like it belonged in a bento box. The curry had just the right amount of spice, although I think ordering just the curry would have been a good choice too. The coffee here is also really good, with a smooth taste that would appeal to everyone. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee after shopping at the factory.

Due to lack of sleep, I decided to move to a different place to have some coffee. I ended up at this cafe in the factory. It was around 10:30 and there were quite a few customers inside. It's still a summer day, and I ordered an iced coffee. It came out quickly and surprised me. I took a sip... it's so delicious! It really soothes me. If I didn't have plans for a meal afterwards, I would have ordered something else along with this coffee. But this coffee is really satisfying. It's not like alcohol, but it feels like it's seeping into my bones. There were some girls chatting enthusiastically about movies, maybe because there's a movie theater nearby. Next stop ⇒

I made a reservation at the hotel near the factory, and then I decided to go to the factory's Miyadaya. I had a coffee voucher that I bought a long time ago. I wondered if I could still use an old coffee voucher. I could use it. I was able to eat a cake set for 410 yen, and the cake (orange tart) was delicious. It was hot, so I opted for grapefruit juice instead of coffee, which made me feel sorry for the coffee shop.

After finishing watching a movie, I took a break here in Sapporo. There are 9 branches in Sapporo and nearby areas, and the main store is in my hometown of Kiyota at Miyataya. The movie was fantastic with an all-star cast, but maybe a bit too explanatory. As I reflect on the movie by myself, I'll enjoy an iced coffee (630 yen) here. It has a strong bitterness and a sharp flavor, which I usually don't like, but it tastes really refreshing today. The lighting is calming, the background music is light jazz, and the air conditioning is just right, creating a relaxed atmosphere. I'll switch my mood here before heading home. I often go to the factory but had never been inside, so I dropped by (´˘`＊) I ordered the recommended Spice Chicken Curry Set - Chicken Curry Set 1670 yen - which comes with curry, salad, and a drink. I ordered the drink before the meal, but it was served at the same time ( ˊᵕˋ ;). The curry had lots of tender chicken that had been simmered until it fell apart (*´༥`*) Yummy! However, even though it was labeled as spice curry, I didn't really feel the spiciness that much (´･ω･｀). The level of spiciness might be on the milder side...? Maybe it's just me since I like spicy food (ˊᗜˋ*) It was lunchtime, and many people were ordering cake sets. I might stop by for a break during shopping!

I stopped by this restaurant while shopping at the factory. I was a bit hesitant because the sandwich was priced at nearly 1,000 yen, but it turned out to be a great find. The meal came with a large iced coffee, which was double the size of other places, and both the coffee and the food were delicious! I found a good restaurant here. It was delicious. The coffee arrived in about 5 minutes. I paid in cash. They offer a 100 yen discount on drinks if you have a half-ticket from the nearby United Cinema. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I like the coffee at Miyadaya. I wanted to drink it at the shop on a weekday before the state of emergency was declared. It's a bit hidden in the Sapporo Factory facility, so I thought it might be empty. I visited after work at around 6:00 PM, with only two other customers there. The prices are a bit high for a proper cafe, but I think it's fair for the delicious coffee they serve. I had the "Strong" for 550 yen. They also have beer, but I stuck to my initial choice. I like the strong bitter taste, but this one had a slightly different flavor. Maybe it's a unique taste of the beans? It reminded me of a taste I had somewhere else before. Honestly, it tasted a bit like medicine, which is not really my preference. The atmosphere is great (though a bit dim), and it's quiet with few people, so I would like to visit again. Visited a cafe located on the 2nd floor of the Frontier Building in the complex commercial facility "Sapporo Factory" for the first time in March 2021. It used to be a different cafe before, but it changed to a branch of the familiar "Miyadaya" chain a few years ago. I visited right after opening on a weekday. I had their "Original B Blend" with a "Coffee Baumkuchen". Miyadaya offers a variety of small sweets for tea time within a reasonable price range, which is nice. The Baumkuchen was a solid type with cream on the side. Perfect for when you want a little something with your drink but don't want a full cake. The cafe faces the outer wall of the facility with windows, allowing natural light to brighten the space. Classic background music plays, creating a calm atmosphere. It feels like an oasis in the bustling commercial facility. Total cost was 930 yen (Original B Blend 550 yen / Coffee Baumkuchen 380 yen).

After lunch, I took a break by visiting a few shops. I felt like having coffee, so I stopped by Miyadaya for the first time. They said I could choose any seat I liked, so I sat at a table in the back. There was a grand piano in the back, creating a calming atmosphere. Just as expected from Miyadaya. My stomach was already full, so I checked out the desserts. I saw something called Tokachi Cheese Pie and decided to try it with a strong coffee. It was still early for afternoon tea, but there were a few others having a late lunch. In a few minutes, my coffee and dessert arrived. I started with the coffee, which was strong and bitter, just how I like it. The cheese pie had a crispy bottom and a firm cheese filling with a mild sweetness. It was lighter than cheesecake, making it easy to eat. It paired well with the coffee. I came for a coffee break, but in these times, lingering is not recommended, so I enjoyed my treat and left shortly after. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer.

I visited Miyadaya Coffee at Sapporo Factory for the first time! After eating soft serve ice cream, I moved to the Frontier Hall for coffee time, where Miyadaya Coffee is located. Let's go in. It's my first visit so I need to find a seat myself since there is no guidance. The seating arrangement ensures social distance, so I ended up at a table that hadn't been cleaned yet. Oh well, this one will do. A staff member quickly came and cleaned it up. I looked at the menu and chose the Mandheling for 650 yen including tax. Many people around me were having lunch, and the curry looked delicious. I might try it next time. The coffee arrived in about 7 minutes. The cup had a classy and dignified feel. It had a slightly strong bitterness which was very comforting. There was also a unique flavor to it. Despite the price, the coffee was satisfying. Thank you, Miyadaya Coffee. When I returned to the parking lot, my car was gone! I couldn't remember which floor I parked on. I went down all three floors but couldn't find it. Something's not right. Wait, maybe... I checked the other parking lot and thankfully found it. It took me more than 10 minutes. What a hassle.

After several years, I finally managed to find a seat at a cafe after being turned away from three full ones. I ordered three different cute-colored iced herbal teas for each of us. The colors were adorable, and since it was a hot day, the light flavors were refreshing and perfect. Sorry for not having coffee at a coffee shop (laughs).

Sapporo Factory Frontier Kan on the 2nd floor is a coffee specialty shop with a variety of food options. It is the closest cafe to United Cinema, making it a great place to pass the time before a movie or to enjoy the afterglow of a film. It was my first visit to Miyanoya Coffee at the Factory. I knew there was a store here, but the timing never seemed to work out, either because I had just eaten or it was outside of business hours. Feeling a bit thirsty, I decided to have a coffee inside. It was midday, so the charming antique atmosphere inside the shop was almost full. I noticed a takeout sign next to the shop, which also featured tapioca. I decided to go for a tapioca milk takeout. When I asked the female staff if they could do tapioca milk for takeout, she responded with a smile. After paying, I waited on the side. The staff members were rushing around with a sense of urgency. I could hear the kitchen staff's voices, also sounding tense. I overheard someone asking if gum syrup was needed for the tapioca milk. I felt bad for not mentioning it earlier. The calm and gentle female staff member came over and asked if I wanted sweetener in my tapioca milk. Her smile saved the day. I received my tapioca milk and sat on a bench in the corridor connecting to United Cinema. The slightly sweet tapioca in the non-sugar milk tea was delicious. It was a refreshing treat for my parched throat. Thank you for the meal. It would be nice if they had benches outside for customers waiting for their takeout orders, as it can be inconvenient to wait in the indoor passageway.

I visited Miyadaya Coffee at Sapporo Factory when I went to see a movie. I had the "A Set Wild Berry Tart Miyadaya Special Blend" for 870 yen. It was my first time trying wild berries, but it was delicious. The Miyadaya Special Blend coffee was also good, and you can drink it black.

It's a bit hidden in a corner, so I didn't notice it before (^_^*) Inside, the atmosphere is quite stylish and calm. I ordered the Strong Blend for 500 yen. The sandwiches here are supposed to be delicious! I was tempted to order one because my lunch was light, but I resisted (≧∀≦) The coffee arrived. It's quite strong and has a good balance of acidity. This place has several branches in Sapporo, but for some reason, they are mostly on the east side. I hope they open branches in Nishi-ku and Teine-ku too. Thank you for the meal^_^

Visited to have coffee. It's located inside a factory, tucked away in a quiet corner. Feeling a bit peckish, I ordered the "Variety 4 Set" this time. It included ham & cheese, crispy shrimp cutlet, potato and 4 kinds of vegetable sandwich, and chicken nanban sandwich. Couldn't find the morning menu, maybe I just missed it. As a coffee specialty shop, the coffee is delicious♫ The sandwiches were also tasty. However, they were on the small side. Personally, I think they could be a bit bigger. This is a shop located inside Sapporo Factory. We went shopping and got a bit hungry, so we decided to stop by. It was a Sunday evening, but surprisingly it wasn't too crowded and we were able to find seats easily. There were many types of curry to choose from, making it a bit difficult to decide, but I ended up choosing the dry curry. They also had herbal curries and a hamburger curry that was limited to only 5 servings per day. I ordered some tea first and while waiting, they brought a small salad with Caesar dressing, which was delicious. The service was quick and soon after, the curry arrived. It wasn't too spicy at first, but had a nice kick to it afterwards. It wasn't too strong, so it was enjoyable. The taste was delicious.

I received a coffee daifuku. The small brown object was soft and mochi-like, with a good stretchiness. It had a nice coffee aroma that spread throughout the mouth. The filling was sweet bean paste, not too sweet, which was good. It was my first time trying a coffee daifuku, and it was unique and well-made. Coffee lovers should definitely give it a try.
