If they had it, I would definitely order it. Pancakes are more sponge-like rather than fluffy. I think I prefer M's. The coffee jelly latte was delicious. My friend ordered an iced coffee in a cute flower-patterned ceramic cup. We were seated near the entrance so next time I want to try the food at a table further back. Located right next to Sapporo Convention Center, this Saizeriya offers a wide variety of coffee options and a great selection of food items. The store can accommodate over 50 people, and they offer affordable refills on coffee. Overall, it was a great dining experience. The D-Works uniform was also a nice touch.

After-dinner dessert time. I always gave up entering because there were always customers waiting, but today there's no one? Should I go in? That's how I ended up visiting for the first time. Pistachio Mont Blanc. Oh...! Surprisingly delicious with a smooth paste instead of cream! The whipped cream wasn't too sweet and complemented the pistachio flavor nicely. The cookie base was also tasty. Next time, I'll try their meals or pancakes!

When I went to Miyako Pancake, they were closed. I couldn't bring myself to eat anything else since they were all set to start making pancakes, so I went to this shop. I had the matcha pancake, which was surprisingly delicious. The first pancake had matcha powder, sweet bean paste, plenty of whipped cream, and red bean paste on top. Between the two pancakes, there was matcha syrup and more matcha. The matcha ice cream on the side was a nice touch. It was very delicious. I also ordered a refill of their blend coffee, which was also very tasty.

I recommend the morning set. You can relax quietly. You can get toast for free with a drink order, but for an additional 300 yen, you can also get a hot sandwich or cheese toast. The morning set has a variety of options. The chicken and tomato sauce hot sandwich was delicious, with chunks of chicken in a perfect tomato sauce with a good balance of acidity, and the cheese was tasty.

Higashi-Sapporo area in Shiroishi Ward. They offer morning menu from 9am to 11am. The parking situation makes it easier to enter compared to the nearby Komeda Coffee. The store is spacious and non-smoking. "Sakai Coffee" has become famous despite being a newer establishment. They have not expanded their number of stores much despite being an FC chain. This location in Gifu offers morning menu similar to the Tokai region, where ordering coffee comes with a set style similar to other shops. Even so, it still feels like an homage to Komeda Coffee. I tried the popular pancakes last time and as a man, I found them delicious. This time, I ordered without looking at the menu. I forgot to order the pancakes. I ordered the Blend Coffee (480 yen) and received a complimentary Small Red Bean Toast. The coffee has a good balance of aroma, bitterness, and acidity. It was quite delicious. Next time, I, with a relatively high level of femininity, would like to try the Vienna Coffee as well. The Red Bean Toast is made with thick slices of buttered toast and cool red bean paste. I'm sorry, but I prefer the one from that other nearby shop. It was just average. I was hoping for something more. The boiled egg was simply delicious. Although I accidentally ended up ordering a regular morning menu instead of the pancakes, it was good to be able to compare it with other places. Without the strength of the pancakes, the morning menu felt a bit lacking. They provide a relaxing atmosphere, decent food, and overall, I think it's a good restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

"Sapporo Underground East-West Line Higashi-Sapporo Station, a cafe located in the complex commercial facility "La Sora". Previously, when it was called "EAS", there was a cafe called "Azabu Teahouse" at this location, and I had visited it two or three times. "Sakai Coffee" is a cafe chain operated by a company called "Jay Art" based in Kakamigahara City, Gifu Prefecture. At present, they have 25 stores nationwide, with locations from Hokkaido to Kyushu. In Hokkaido, there are 3 stores, and for some reason, there are 2 stores in Obihiro, and Sapporo has 1 store in La Sora. The atmosphere and menu composition of the store are somewhat similar to "Musashino Coffee" operated by the Skylark Group, with a balanced range of drink and light meal menus. This time, I ordered "Blend Coffee" and "Traditional Pudding" for a break to adjust the time. The coffee was decent in a good way, and the price of 480 yen was reasonable. I forgot to take a photo, but the beans that come with the small sweets are reminiscent of "Komeda Coffee Shop". Some limited menu items are available for a second cup at a discounted price (half price?), which seems to be a trend in modern cafe chains. The variety of drink options is decent, making it a user-friendly cafe. The "Traditional Pudding" I ordered had a firmer texture than expected. Personally, I don't dislike it, but some people might rate it lower. The cream topping is common, but the cherry on top gives it a nostalgic feel. I don't dislike it, but when compared to the "Showa Pudding" from Hoshino Coffee Shop I had before, it doesn't receive as high of a rating. I was pleasantly surprised that like a certain chain store, a bean confectionery comes as a set with the drink. I am also curious about the various special mornings, and the fact that drinks marked with a special symbol can be ordered at half price from the second cup onwards is very appealing. Since it was not crowded during the morning hours, I would like to use this place again when I want to stay for a long time for work or study.

There is also a cat cafe in the same facility, where you can relax on a comfortable sofa while enjoying your meal. I heard that their pancakes are a specialty, so I plan to try them next time. Located on the 1st floor of La Sora Sapporo B Building, it opened at the end of last year. Previously, it was "Amaya Azabu Teahouse." The main store is in Gifu, with a total of 35 stores nationwide, including 2 other stores in Obihiro, Hokkaido. The atmosphere inside is calm, with quiet jazz playing in the background. There is 1 staff member in the hall, and the kitchen is not visible. Unusually for this type of restaurant, they offer a variety of food besides desserts. This time, I ordered the "Curry Rice" (880 yen). It arrived in about 10 minutes, along with the "Original Spicy Spice." The curry has a homely taste, with plenty of beef, carrots, and potatoes. It is labeled as "medium spicy," but it's still on the sweeter side. Adding the spice mix gave it a nice kick. The rice is multigrain and slightly firm in texture, with fried onions on top. It's decent but nothing special, typical of chain restaurants. However, it's quite pricey. The portion size might be enough for women, but leaves you feeling about 70% full. Next time, I might try the "Grilled Chicken Green Curry Stew."

On a certain weekday, I visited a cafe on the 1st floor of Lasora in Higashi-Sapporo, Shiroishi-ku for some errands. When I arrived, it had just opened, so it was nice and clean, which I personally appreciated. Since it was morning, I heard that if you order a drink, you get toast as well, so I didn't hesitate to order a "Cafe au lait (520 yen)" and "Jam toast". Taking a sip of the Cafe au lait, it had a mild bitterness with a nice milk flavor, served in a slightly larger tea cup. The toast was long and thin, warm but not too hot, with a generous amount of average quality jam and a light spread of butter underneath. I also had a boiled egg that was easy to peel. It was recommended by a sweets-loving colleague of theirs, so I simply followed along. We went to "Sakai Coffee," a nationwide chain originating from Gifu, with its first Hokkaido branch in Obihiro. The second branch is in Sapporo, and the third in Obihiro. The concept here is "blended coffee," "food that rivals specialty stores," and "high-quality space." The "Strawberry and Berry" pancake priced at 1,540 yen was surprisingly expensive, but the portion was huge, which was impressive. I tried a bit, and indeed, the pancakes were fluffy and delicious, but at that price, it might be a bit much for men to indulge in (laughs). The "Blended Coffee" for 480 yen came in a cup similar to Komeda Coffee's. It was a well-balanced and delicious dark roast coffee. In Sapporo, in addition to coffee chains from the Chubu region, there are also cafes like Hoshino Coffee and the Sukiya Group's "Musashino Coffee," as well as local cafes like Miyanomori Coffee, all differentiating themselves from regular cafes. While individually-owned coffee shops are on the decline, I wonder if the habit of taking a break at a "coffee shop" will make a comeback.

When I arrived, it was in the evening on a weekday, and although it wasn't crowded, it seemed to be a place for women to chat. I ordered an Iced Coffee (460 yen) without any particular attachment to the menu. Taking a sip... Hmm, the iced coffee, served in a flower-patterned cup with triangular ice cubes, had a surprisingly gentle and rounded taste with a low bitterness, leaving behind the rich flavor of the beans and a hint of sweetness. As someone who enjoys drinking coffee straight, I quite liked this type. Finally, just like at Komeda Coffee, I finished with some complimentary bean snacks. I noticed that across the way, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Mister Donut have opened in the food court, increasing the options for a relaxing tea time, but I hope Sakai Coffee continues to thrive. It was served in less than 10 minutes, hot on a sizzling plate. The spaghetti was thick and chewy, and the meat sauce had a rich flavor with a generous amount of cheese. Cheese lovers would be happy, but I found it quite heavy, with a high cheese-to-pasta ratio. The portion size was also substantial, and even I couldn't finish it.

I decided to have lunch at La Sora in East Sapporo, but many places were closed for the Mambou period. So, I went to Sakai Coffee where I could use my laptop a bit. After having lunch, I was searching for a place to have dessert and came across this place. I had been curious to try their pancakes since they opened, and my friend Nocchimu had also been wanting to go. We arrived at the restaurant around 2 o'clock, but it was full. We were told we would have to wait for about 2-3o minutes, so we decided to wait. After a while, we were seated and checked the menu. Although we already knew what we wanted to order, we noticed they had some limited edition items. Unfortunately, they were sold out that day, but the pancakes looked delicious. We ordered the classic pancakes with strawberries and berries, along with an iced cafe au lait. The pancakes were soft and moist, with a custard cream sandwiched in between, topped with plenty of whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries. The custard was not overly sweet, balancing out the overall sweetness of the pancakes. Although there was a hint of acidity from the berries, it was not overpowering. The iced cafe au lait complemented the sweetness of the pancakes well. The pancakes were good, the seating was comfortable, and the atmosphere was nice.
