I went to KALDI COFFEE FARM Aeon Bihoro Store! I'm at Aeon Bihoro Store looking for something good after a long time. KALDI is always a fun and attractive store. There are some good things here. "Sliced leftover ham" for 268 yen. It works great with just a little effort! I'll use it as a snack with alcohol haha. It's hard to pull apart from the lump. Hmm, the ham has just the right amount of saltiness, it's irresistible. It goes well with beer or wine, anything goes! I've never bought coffee here before, so maybe next time it's worth a shot. I go to Kaldi a few times a month to do some shopping (and to top up my WAON card haha). This time, I found a convenient yet authentic product that I want to share. I often make green curry using Mae Ploy's green curry paste and Chaokoh's coconut milk, but this time I came across Achar's seasoning mix for 182 yen. Lately, I've been eating more Achar, so I thought it would be great to try making it myself. It's only 20g, so even if I fail, it's not a big loss haha. I used onions, tomatoes, and potatoes that I had at home - I used new onions without soaking them, chopped the tomatoes the same way, and diced the sprouted potatoes and boiled them lightly. I followed the instructions, added 3 tablespoons of vinegar and 10g of Achar spice, mixed it, chilled it in the fridge, and it was done. It's perfect for a lazy housewife like me haha. The taste is a bit random since I'm not very familiar with spices, but it's like a powerful blend of Garam Masala with a crunchy onion texture that I love. For the second batch, I used onions, avocados, octopus (a gift), and cherry tomatoes. I thought tomatoes and other watery ingredients make it better to eat sooner. The creaminess of the avocado is a bit hit or miss. I think boiled chicken and cucumber would go well with it. If you like acidity, adding more vinegar might be good. It's perfect for passing the time when you're free. I often buy Monin's caramel syrup and hazelnut syrup for making flavored coffee. I bring it to work and it's always well received. In the past, you could only find it at this store, but now it's sold at the nearby supermarket. They also have British beer like Bass Pale Ale, which is very useful. The red ginger tempura and Mickey-shaped pasta are fun snacks. I've never bought coffee beans from here though, haha.

This is Obihiro. Before heading back, I'll stop by Aeon. Aeon in Obihiro is bustling with cars and people. As soon as you enter Aeon, there is a Caldi. My wife, who loves Caldi, goes in without saying anything. We both prefer Spanish cuisine over Japanese, so she picks up "Chicken gizzards a la plancha" without hesitation. I thought that would be it, so I left the store, but my wife excitedly tells me she also bought "Fruit & Nut Mix" and "Peas". She must have bought the peas for me, as I love edamame. The fruit mix and nuts are perfect for beer snacks and disappeared in a few days. She also noticed something she had been curious about for a while, which I didn't even remember her buying. It turned out to be the "Chicken gizzards a la plancha". There was a loud noise, but it seems the microwave didn't explode. I had warned her not to put the can in as it might explode, but she insisted she wouldn't. In the end, she put it in and it exploded. The dish lost its texture, but it was still edible. It was spicy, but not too garlicky. I used to not be able to eat it at all, so the fact that I can now is quite an achievement.

I don't usually go to Aeon when I visit Obihiro. I've only been there once. This time, I heard that there is a Caldi in Obihiro, so I decided to check it out. After a bit of searching, I found it tucked away in a corner - Caldi Coffee Farm in Aeon Obihiro. I always get excited when I come here. I wandered around the store for a while, picking out a few things to put in my basket. I always end up buying a lot, so I have to be selective. I bought some extra virgin olive oil made with Sicilian lemons, truffle olive oil, shrimp cream pasta sauce, sea urchin cream pasta sauce, and chocolate macadamia nut flavored coffee. When I got home, I cooked some pasta and mixed it with the shrimp cream pasta sauce. The flavor of the shrimp and the sweetness were really good. It was delicious. And when I drizzled the truffle olive oil on top, it added a great flavor. Sometimes I buy flavored coffee for fun, but this time it was just okay. If Caldi opens in Kitami, I'll probably run out of pocket money quickly...

When I thought about it, guess who it was? It's Tomu-chan! There is a review of just Tomu-chan at the Aeon in Obihiro. It made me laugh. I can imagine when she went. She comes to Aeon for shopping. "Oh my," Mogutan also reviewed. I found a store that I like. When did it open? It didn't exist before, right? They must have made it for me. It's an imported goods store. Since it has "coffee" in the name, I guess coffee is the main focus. They always have tasting samples. I have never tried the samples or bought any beans. I buy things like olive oil, dried pasta, cheap beer for Kamisan, unique cheeses, and unusual seasonings. Today, I bought garlic oil, whole grain mustard, basil sauce, and Cheddar cheese. They seem a little inexperienced. I saw them drop items on the floor three times while stocking. They even dropped half of the items they were carrying. They also dropped some snacks, but they didn't put them back on the shelf. When I got home, I immediately spread the basil sauce on French bread and ate it. I was impressed by the deep color, but the taste wasn't as strong as I expected. Kamisan said, "Cheap things are no good after all." Most of the items are imported, so if you don't trust them, you might not be able to use them. I'm also the type who doesn't trust easily, but I like this store. My enjoyment of coming to Obihiro Aeon has increased.

Welcome! I found my favorite imported food store before heading to Aeon Naka-Otofuke in Obihiro City, so I was irresistibly drawn in. The store is already so international! The variety of options is even better than Jupiter, with different genres to explore. There are many core items, like large-sized almond jelly for Yuma-chan! You can even drink it as is.
