Hakodate, Honcho. Today's shop is Craft Beer Bar Jun. It's located right behind the Central Hospital along the streetcar line. I've been here before, but I always end up leaving without actually visiting, so this is my first proper visit. When I searched for places open during New Year's while I was home, I called and found out they were open (^o^) It's easy to enter this shop with its glass windows along the streetcar line. Last time I was here, I was really curious about the liver sashimi on the menu, so I ordered it as soon as I arrived, but they were out due to the New Year holiday - of course (T_T) Oh well, I cheered up and ordered a beer! - Onuma IPA @800: It's quite bitter, but the bitterness is delicious, so it's relatively easy to drink. Definitely worth ordering. - Hinata Craft @800: A refreshing citrus beer. It's like juice, so even people who don't like beer might enjoy it. - Showa Ham Cutlet @600: I had just eaten Genghis Khan, so I only wanted beer, but my friend ordered it, so I had a taste. Thick ham with a crunchy, hard coating. Hmm, this is heavy for my stomach right now, but it's delicious haha. Although I ended up killing time, the beer was delicious! Next time, I have to try the specialty - liver sashimi! Now, it seems like my classmate's shop was open, so I'm heading there (^o^) Thank you for the meal (・∀・)

It was a hot night, so I wanted to drink a cold beer. I was recommended Orion Beer's Nago (75) which had just arrived that day, so I ordered it. It had a rich taste and was delicious. For snacks, I had low-temperature cooked liver sashimi and dashimaki tamago made with eggs from their own farm. Both were delicious, but the dashimaki tamago was especially rich and very good! The manager is friendly and it's a great place where you can have a fun conversation!

Welcome. When I went to Hakodate in December 2019, I stopped by a place and had a gin and soda. I started with some dried persimmons because I was in the mood for them. I think my friends also had some as a starter. I wish they had a set called "Gout Set Grand Menu" which includes octopus, shirako (fish milt), whale bacon, beef tendon, cod roe, and fish cake. It's an all-star set! You'll be part of the gout club after eating that. The takoyaki there is so bad that it's actually amazingly good. They cook it on a copper plate and it's piping hot. That's how the night went, but I was already too drunk to walk and had to go home. Reflecting on it now.

A variety of beers can be enjoyed at this place. In addition to Tap Marche, there are also various bottled beers available. The menu includes dishes made with eggs from their own farm, such as pasta with egg yolk and meringue, raw ham, and pickled fish. The pickled egg yolk is limited to 2 servings and is hard to come by (laughs).

Welcome. In the area near the Goryokaku Koen-mae tram stop in May 2019, there are many restaurants that serve craft beer. While craft beer is not the main focus, you can easily enjoy it along with a variety of wine options and a rich selection of dishes. They serve dishes like "Dashimaki, Onsen Tamago, Omelette" made with eggs from chickens raised at JUN Farm, and have unique menu names like "Juntucky FC" since there is no KFC around. It's spring, so the atmosphere is vibrant. The beer has fine bubbles and a light taste, very elegant. Two recommended items are "Kaki-pi, Prosciutto" featuring their aged prosciutto. The oysters are from Shiriuchi, large and sweet. The Onuma IPA is served in a wine glass. The takoyaki is said to be terrible, but those who claim it's bad are the ones who make it taste delicious. Only one has a terrible taste added, and the first person to try it got unlucky. The normal flavor is delicious. They were grilling seriously in the kitchen. It's enviable that they have two large craft beer servers. The Hakodate Honcho area can be considered a pioneer in craft beer.

I searched for a craft beer shop in Hakodate and visited the one that came up. When I entered, there were already 5-6 customers sitting at the counter, making it quite lively. I quickly looked at the beer list and indeed there were several types of craft beers, including Suntory Malts...? Despite being advertised as craft beer, the menu also had Suntory Malts...? There were also snacks available that went well with beer. However, when I visited on a Saturday night, despite the female staff running the place alone, it took quite a long time for the food to come out... It was quite a painful wait for just the beer. By the way, I heard they also have karaoke here.
