He said he wanted to take me somewhere during our one-day holiday, but crowded places are not ideal. However, doing nothing would be lonely, and I felt like drinking. Despite the light rain and chilly weather, we went to Yurigaoka Park to ride the Lily Train and see the flowers (my husband has hay fever). Afterwards, we went to karaoke! We spent a relaxing three hours peacefully. The food was still the same as last time (we had the same dishes as before).

A little early, but as is tradition, we had our year-end party as a couple (just drinking beer and singing karaoke) at Cats Eye in Shinoro since our usual spot, Ainori, closed down. They had a good deal on a course with alcohol included, but unfortunately, they only offered the all-you-can-drink Old Drink plan for groups of 3 or more. When I asked if it would be cheaper to order alcohol individually since I was the only one drinking, the staff kindly calculated it for me. With a coupon for 10% off and a free small portion of potatoes, we ordered dishes like curry with pork cutlet (600 yen), chicken cartilage fried (430 yen), camembert fry (450 yen), garlic shrimp (450 yen), and nugget snacks (350 yen) (all prices before tax). Although they advertised Old Drink, the beer they served was Sapporo Draft, which was good enough. We spent about 2 and a half hours there, and the total cost including the drink-all-you-can room fee was 3,736 yen (tax included). With the food included, the bill came to 5,579 yen (tax included) after the 10% discount. It would be great if they had a party plan that was cheaper for just two people!

This is a karaoke and game store located on 8th Avenue in Shiroji, Kita-ku. You can easily spot it by the big cat sign out front. They have a parking lot so it's okay to drive there. It's closer to Yurigahara Station than Shiroji Station on the JR line. They offer two types of all-you-can-drink options, one where they bring it to you after you order by phone, and one where you go to the drink bar yourself. Just be aware that the menu is different between phone orders and self-service. Phone orders have a wider variety of drinks. During lunchtime, they have a great set plan with 2 hours of karaoke, drinks, and food. On my revisit in 2009, I ordered pizza and cheese fries. The pizza had about 5 varieties and two types of crust, craft and bread. The bread crust was a bit tough. The cheese fries came in three types. On my revisit in 2010, I ordered takoyaki and pizza. The pizza had a crispy rice flour-like crust and was delicious. The takoyaki didn't quite hit the mark.

I thought the price was reasonable and decided to go. The prices for the dishes are relatively cheap. In terms of food, the taste and variety are decent for the price. However, the portion sizes are small, which may be unsatisfactory for men. The staff's service is not good. They may seem professional at first, but they are often busy talking among themselves or unresponsive when spoken to. Their attitude outside of serving customers can be considered bad. I felt that there was a lack of thorough employee training. Additionally, there are hygiene issues. I won't go back to any of their chain restaurants.
