I visit Waraimon 2-3 times a week. Everything here tastes delicious! But the best recommendation is the fried chicken bento! Honestly, I have never had better fried chicken anywhere else. The crispy exterior, the burst of juice in your mouth when you bite into it... the well-marinated flavor, it's a masterpiece. Apart from the fried chicken, the daily specials are always good, and the tonkatsu bowl and curry are also of high quality. They also have onigiri bento, and the way they make onigiri is amazing. Everything is made to order, so everything is freshly made and delicious. The prices are around 500 yen and the portions are generous. Women can ask for a smaller portion of rice if they want. The staff are all nice people, and I love this place!

The sign says "Tempura specialty store," but you can't eat inside and they also offer "takeout bento." I've always been curious about this place. When I entered, there were several salarymen waiting for their bento. They also serve freshly fried kamaboko. There are various bento options, and the most popular seems to be the "daily special." I ordered it without knowing the exact contents and took it home. Upon opening it, I found chicken tempura with grated daikon, macaroni, cucumber pickles, chawanmushi, seasoned bean sprouts with bonito flakes, and pickles. The chicken tempura reminded me of my high school days when I used to eat Sekoma's "chicken tempura bowl" every day. It looked different with the grated daikon, giving it a refreshing taste. But it was cold! It seemed like it was fried in advance or maybe it was just because of the grated daikon. Either way, when you heat it up, it affects the other side dishes. I wish there were more chicken tempura pieces, only three seemed insufficient. I regret not choosing dishes like shrimp curry or pork cutlet bowl after looking at the menu later. The other side dishes seemed to cater to a healthier preference favored by women. Since it's a tempura and kamaboko shop, I wish there were more options in that category. I wonder if chicken tempura falls under the tempura category. Also, the portion of rice was unusually small.

The stamp card is almost full! Around noon, there is always a line. If you go after 1 o'clock, they often run out of food. There aren't many takeout bento shops around here, so this place is very popular! The portion size is just right for women, but men might find it a bit small, so it's safer to order a large portion. Most people order the daily special, which makes the ordering and payment process quick. It seems to take a bit longer if you don't order the daily special. Everything you eat here is delicious!
