On a Sunday afternoon, after dining nearby and before boarding the subway to head home, we wanted to have a little more to drink and decided to stop by Golden Gai. However, most places were still closed. When we asked at this particular shop with its door open, the owner greeted us warmly with a smile. Since we were already full from eating, we were fine with just having drinks. We toasted with a Kirin Ichiban beer priced at 500 yen and continued chatting endlessly. The girl who couldn't join our tipsy circle left to go to Odori by subway. With the place practically to ourselves at that early hour, we were able to chat comfortably and had a great time before parting ways at the subway station. I'd love to go drinking in Hiragishi next time. We ended up back at this shop as our final stop. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

It's great to be able to enjoy craft beer from a different keg each day for only 700 yen. I ended up ordering all three types available today, but I can't remember which ones they were. What I do remember is the handsome and friendly staff who took good care of us throughout the evening. They mentioned that the place was packed during the Rugby World Cup, and it had a sports bar atmosphere with European soccer games on the monitors. There's no cover charge, and the place is called "Nomigo" which means gathering with friends. During the day, they operate as a popular tapioca drink shop. They mentioned that they always show whatever sports event is happening at the time, so it's a great place to hang out, drink, and watch sports. It was a fun experience. Thank you for the meal.

This is a tapioca shop that opened last month in the Golden Street in Hiragishi. I went there clutching a 500 yen ticket I got from a Shiretoko Soup Curry event the other day. The shop's operating days seem to be quite irregular, so it's better to check on Instagram. The shop, located in the dimly lit Golden Street, had a bar-like atmosphere with handsome young men and beautiful women as staff. A Western movie was playing on the monitor. The menu includes Milk Tea - Morning Black Tea (500 yen + tax), Brown Sugar Milk - Shigeru's Black (500 yen + tax), Strawberry Milk - First Love Taste (500 yen + tax), and Brown Sugar Matcha Milk - Completely Matcha (550 yen + tax) as regular menu items. However, what I ordered was not any of these, but the monthly menu item Almond Tofu - Goddess of the First Snow (550 yen + tax) since I drank it in the shop, it was 605 yen. The tapioca here has 1.5 to 2 times more than other shops, and you can even double it for an additional 50 yen. Followers on Instagram can double it for free. So, I tried it, and it was delicious! It was truly almond tofu. The tapioca was very soft and chewy. It seems to have been simmered slowly for over an hour. I thought the tapioca itself was seasoned, but it turns out it's soaked in brown sugar. It's not the large tapioca pearls, but the regular size, which I found easy to drink. I'm not very familiar with tapioca since I don't drink it often, but this was by far the most delicious one I've ever had. The Almond Tofu Tapioca was delicious! Thank you for the meal. As I was walking back home, I realized I forgot to use the discount ticket. What am I doing, haha. I'll go back again.
