When I got home, dinner was already prepared, and I was scolded to let them know when I buy something! So, I had to save the Kentucky Fried Chicken for the next day. I looked up how to reheat fried chicken and found that grilling it quickly is the best way. It might be tastier than using a toaster. I only had one piece of boneless chicken, and it wasn't quite filling enough for me, so I let the girls eat it and had the bone-in chicken instead. The spice and crispy skin are irresistible. I'm not a big fan of Kentucky Fried Chicken, so I usually end up with leftover chicken whenever I buy it, which I end up slicing and eating in a salad the next day. I hadn't been to KFC for over 10 years, but this time I decided to try their takeout. We shared the Chicken Fillet Sandwich Set for ¥700 and the Japanese-style Chicken Cutlet Sandwich Set for ¥700. The Chicken Fillet Sandwich had a good balance of herb and spice-seasoned chicken with lettuce and olive oil mayo sauce, while the Chicken Cutlet Sandwich had a thick chicken cutlet with teriyaki sauce, mayo sauce, and shredded cabbage, making it very filling. Both sandwiches had a nice flavor from the whole wheat buns and were a good size for women to eat comfortably. The thick and large fries were very satisfying and filled me up. This was my first time trying something other than chicken at KFC, and I thought it was pretty good. Thank you for the meal, next time I want to try the Twister and other items.

The effect of the commercial is amazing! I was casually watching TV when a KFC commercial came on, showing someone enjoying their food and it made me want to eat there. So, I drove to the KFC drive-thru at Miyanomori store. KFC offers chicken in five different parts (drumstick, rib, keel, wing, thigh), and my favorite part is the thigh because it has just the right amount of fat and a generous portion. Of course, you can't choose the specific part you want, but that's understandable to avoid waste. I ordered the Hot & Spicy Chicken 4-piece, which is said to be the best-selling item in Asia. It is spicy with a mix of spices and a hint of herbs, and has a crispy texture. It's perfect for enjoying with a beer. I was satisfied after eating the 4 pieces. Although the promotion for the all-you-can-eat original chicken event (limited to 45 minutes) has ended, it seems like it was held at certain stores. It's definitely an event for big eaters! Welcome! It's that time of year again when I really want to try the "Red Hot Chicken," but it's not available yet! I always feel let down. This time, I decided to try the limited edition Love Heart chicken that was so tempting in the commercials. Even though the restaurant was full of enthusiastic students, I was asked if I wanted to eat in or take out. Obviously, there was no room to eat in, so I pointed to the menu and ordered the drumstick that was ready. I got my order quickly and smoothly, thank you! Now, the chicken is here in a box and paper bag. I warmed it up because it had cooled down and the aroma came back. The crispy coating has a strong presence, but the inside is just okay in terms of flavor. I prefer this taste over the original. I also tried the Moon Viewing Twister, which had a great texture and flavor. The teriyaki-like sauce was delicious, and the egg was unique. I realized later that the potato that was supposed to come with the chicken was missing, but the staff handled the situation well and I got a voucher for it. Overall, the Love Heart chicken was the second best after the Red Hot Chicken. It had a great taste and I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal!

I visited this restaurant to eat chicken on the day before Christmas. It is located near the Frances Church along Kita 1-jo Miya no Sawa street, and they have parking available which is convenient. On this day, they were preparing for the Christmas chicken orders starting the next day, so there were menu restrictions and some parts of the restaurant were decorated for Christmas. Since it was the day before Christmas, there were hardly any customers inside. Due to the limited menu, I didn't have many options but I ordered the 6-piece Smart Value Pack (1,690 yen) and a drink, and enjoyed it inside the restaurant. The chicken was as delicious as always, although my appetite has decreased as I've gotten older, I still managed to eat 3 pieces. Fast food restaurants are usually crowded and hectic, but on this day, with no other customers around, I was able to relax and enjoy my meal. I was once again reminded that their chicken is always cheap and tasty no matter where or when you eat it.

When KFC commercials are on TV, I always crave it! Christmas is coming soon, so it's a busy season to buy fake turkey. Now, KFC fans often debate about "good stores and bad stores." A bad store has soggy breading, dry and salty taste, while a good store has crispy, juicy, and evenly spiced chicken! There is definitely a difference. And eating in at the store is always better. My number one in Sapporo is the one in Miyanomori!

Lunchtime visit with family. Ordered a set with 3 pieces of chicken, 2 fries, crispy strips, and biscuits for 2 kids. Kids didn't seem to like the curly fries. Parking lot is small, but the inside of the restaurant is spacious.

Just because it's Kentucky Fried Chicken doesn't mean it's always delicious wherever you go. I'm not sure if it's because they don't pre-make the food, but the one in Miyanomori is really tasty. Many stores have hard biscuits or make you wonder when the meat was fried, but at the Miyanomori store, although there may be a wait, you can enjoy delicious food. Once you get used to the taste at the Miyanomori store, eating at a different store can leave you feeling like you got a bad deal, wondering why there's such a big difference for the same price. If you're paying the same price for the same food, you want it to be delicious, right?

If you're looking for a KFC in Sapporo, I think the Miyanomori branch has the best atmosphere. It's located a bit west on the street in front of the Hokkaido Shrine. The interior design gives off a slightly upscale vibe, possibly due to the luxury residential area nearby. It doesn't have the typical bustling fast food feel, with some salarymen quietly working and sipping coffee alone. There's also a second floor with a cafe-like ambiance, making it okay to just come in for coffee. I ordered coffee and was able to relax there for over an hour.

Original chicken. Red hot chicken. Pepper mayo twister. Potato. Coleslaw salad. Iced coffee. I had a hearty meal. It's been a while since I last had it. It's still delicious as ever. Thank you for the meal.

The Pfizer vaccine is said to be cut by 10% nationwide, but vaccine shipments to Sapporo have been reduced by 70% of the desired quantity after mid-July. Furthermore, with the delays, events like the Olympic marathon will be held in Sapporo. According to the newspapers, it seems impossible for Sapporo to complete elderly vaccinations by the end of July. A 70% reduction is the highest in the country. What could be the reason for this 7 times higher reduction than the national average? [August 2021] This summer, I visited KFC for their "Red Hot Chicken," a summer staple for my family. They started selling it in 2004, making this year its 17th anniversary. I visited with my usual companion for a dinner around 6 pm on a weekday. I planned to buy the "Red Hot Chicken 6-piece pack," which has been available since two years ago, but unfortunately, it was not on the menu this summer. However, they had the usual "Taste Comparison Pack" available. I ordered the "Taste Comparison 6-piece pack for 1,680 yen" and enjoyed it with a cold beer for dinner. The Red Hot Chicken pieces were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with a spicy flavor perfect for summer. The skin was particularly delicious, and there was almost no greasiness. The Original Chicken pieces were a nostalgic treat, and I still crave them occasionally. The fries were thicker than they looked and had a good weight to them. The Red Hot Chicken is slightly more expensive than the Original Chicken, but I would still choose it for its great taste. It's a shame that the Red Hot Chicken is only available in the summer. I hope they sell it all year round. I look forward to buying it again, my favorite Red Hot Chicken. Thank you for the delicious meal.

After finishing work and returning home on February 24, nobody was at home. My wife was at work, so it was natural for her not to be there, but I couldn't find my parents either. Of course, our beloved dog was also missing. They must have gone somewhere together. Well, that's fine, I'll take a little rest.
