I visited the Aeon Mall Sapporo Hassamu store in Japan! It was my first time visiting and wow, it's a huge Aeon! Even the parking lot seemed impressive. I thought it might be the biggest Aeon, but it turns out the largest store area is in Tomakomai, which I haven't been to. The second largest is in Asahikawa Nishi, which I also haven't visited. I've been to the one near the station though. The third largest is the Sapporo Hassamu store. By the way, the largest shopping center in Hokkaido is Wing Bay Otaru, the old Mycal Otaru. It's now 10 AM and most of the eateries are still preparing, but I found a place open called "Nihonichi" selling yakitori. They don't have this in Obihiro, so I haven't tried it before. I've always wanted to visit this place. I bought some for snacking: Salted pork and leek skewer for 149 yen, Salted chicken wing skewer for 194 yen, and Salted cartilage skewer for 112 yen. The lady at the store was very polite and the food was delicious! From the first bite, I could tell it was different from the yakitori at Bibai Yakitori and Sōzai. It was so tasty and I was pleasantly surprised.

I occasionally buy it♪ It's reasonable, but I feel like the taste matches the price. Pork skewers sauce, tsukune sauce, chicken thigh sauce, chicken breast sauce. The chicken thigh sauce is delicious♪ The pork skewers are a bit thin. Tsukune is also tasty. Personally, I like the tsukune with cartilage in it. Hina salt, chicken gizzard salt, bonjiri salt. My kids prefer the salt ones... Personally, I prefer the sauce ones over the salt ones! And the hina skewers are surprisingly tough when they cool down...

Last night, I made teriyaki chicken thighs for dinner, but for some reason, it made me crave yakitori. During the earthquake on September 6th, my computer malfunctioned due to being infected with three types of viruses. Although some of the data was recovered, the computer is still experiencing frequent issues. I may not be able to review as quickly as usual, but this is not due to hospitalization. The Ion Mall Sapporo Hassamu Store has a large parking lot with 2650 spaces and 800 bicycle spaces. It is one of the largest in Sapporo. Yakiniku Nipponichi is a take-out specialty store for yakiniku located in major commercial facilities like Ion Mall. I stopped by for dinner and bought a few items. The wine-soaked liver was tender and flavorful, similar to the taste of yakitori sauce. The chicken skewers were made with domestic chicken and were juicy and delicious. The chicken cartilage skewers had a crunchy texture and were enjoyable. Overall, the food at "Nipponichi" was delicious and reasonably priced. I look forward to trying more items next time.

I'm in Sapporo, alone, killing time until the ramen shop opens. Sorry, I came to Hassamu Aeon. I saw a fresh person drinking fresh juice, so next was "Nipponichi" which is a SoftBank yakitori place. I was curious about the "Tatsuta-age" so I bought it. I like Tatsuta-age more than Zangi. I warm it up in a frying pan, but you have to be careful not to burn it. The color is dark and the taste is quite strong, but not overpowering. The texture is just right, and it's juicy, although I wish it was juicier. It was delicious Tatsuta-age. "I really like Tatsuta-age!" - Hiroshi Tachi style. "Tatsuta-age... so yummy!" - Saki Aibu style. "Don't tell Ken-san!" - Koutaro Koizumi style.

On January 5, 2017, after having ramen for the first time, my wife wanted to go to Aeon Hakkou store, so we stopped by. She had some errands to run and we were planning to head home, but decided to also get dinner while we were there. It had been a while since we bought food from Japan's Number One Aeon Mall Sapporo Hakkou store, so much so that I had forgotten what it tasted like, haha. I left the choice up to my wife, but I couldn't resist getting the "sand liver karaage" that caught my eye. We also bought food from another store, but I'll review that separately. When we got home, we enjoyed our meal with sweet potato shochu! The salt skewers included chicken, shiitake mushroom, and pork skewers. The sauce skewers had minced chicken and chicken wings. The skewers were decently tasty. Among them, the pork skewers stood out as slightly better than the others. And then there was the sand liver karaage. Well, it was a bit different from what I expected, haha. When it comes to sand liver karaage, I usually get it from a karaage shop in Ebetsu, and the taste is different - this one had a somewhat artificial flavor to it. Sand liver is best when seasoned simply with salt. But overall, it was still tasty. The prices were average, and the taste was decent. It's a pretty good place to eat. It was delicious! Alright!! As the best in Japan, the best is yakitori. I've been to izakaya before, but is there a connection? I went to the Ion Hassamu store, so it was a long time ago. I forgot what kind of store it was... But don't worry, I have notes on the taste. "Pork skewers" are lightly salty. It's lightly flavored but not smelly, which means the ingredients are good in my opinion. The size of the meat and the size of the leeks are reversed, so maybe it's better to call it "leek skewers"? I had two "pork skewers" and the small size of the meat bothered me. "Chicken skewers" are unusually marinated. Usually it's salt, but I don't remember why it was marinated. I usually don't eat the sauce, but I don't hate it. When I ate it, I thought it was leeks, but it was garlic. This is unusual. I'm glad I didn't eat it in the morning... This is great because I love garlic. The chicken itself is not very tasty, but the garlic is delicious. Should we call it "garlic skewers"? It's also lightly flavored, and there's a separate sauce, so if you're concerned about the light flavor, you can use it. I don't need it, so I'll save it and use it for trade-in next time. "Zangi" I bought zangi too? I rarely buy it... It comes in a pack of four, and each one is big. When I tried it, it's chicken thigh so it's edible. And again, it's lightly flavored. A snack for me and my son. All delicious. Cheap, big, great value. Truly deserving of being called the best in Japan. I had to work late this day, so I decided to buy dinner at Aeon Mall on my way home. Since I had a heavy lunch, I wanted something light, so I bought yakitori from Nipponichi. I purchased 2 momonegi skewers (with sauce), 1 ponjiri skewer (with sauce), 1 liver skewer (with sauce), and 1 shiso tsukune skewer (with salt). Feeling a bit unsatisfied, I also bought a rice ball from Aeon Supermarket to complete my dinner for the day. Due to the pandemic, I have had fewer opportunities to drink and eat yakitori, so this meal felt especially delicious after a long time.
