Opposite Homac is a Co-op. My husband cashed in his lottery winnings and said, "I'm too lazy to go to Homac, let's shop at Co-op instead." As soon as we entered the Co-op, a delicious smell filled the air. It was so tempting that we couldn't resist. My husband said, "I want to buy something." I told him, "It's okay, you can buy it since I haven't written about it on Tabelog yet." He chose a curry bun with sesame seeds and a bun topped with teriyaki chicken. We ate the sesame chicken bun that day. It had a familiar taste, but it was delicious. They don't have Lehbun at the Co-op in Abashiri.

I stopped by while shopping. It's a bakery I often visit due to its convenient location. The aroma is always nice ♪ I picked out a couple of my favorite breads.
- Salt bread: I've been hooked on this recently and have been buying it consistently. The aroma of fermented butter is elegant, the texture is crispy, and it's very good. It has a juicy taste and a solid salty flavor. I really like it. (^^)
- Three cheese bread: It contains Camembert cheese, Emmental cheese, and processed cheese. The bread is filled with a generous amount of cheese. Quite nice. (^^) The bread here is relatively affordable. It's a good bakery for everyday use. ヽ(^。^)ノ

On a holiday, my wife and I went shopping. We went to the Co-op Miwa store. It was a day when the Co-op Rainbow Card earned 10 times the points, so we bought a bunch of beer. Well, to be precise, it's not beer but rather the third type of beer... But still... f(^_^) Inside the Co-op Miwa store, there is a bakery called "Levbon." The enticing smell of bread led us to enter. We went there around 11 o'clock. The shelves were almost filled with bread, and freshly baked ones kept coming out. Every time a bread is baked, they ring a bell like they do in a lucky draw. It seems like we visited at a good time. There were many customers as well. We bought about three types of bread.
- Antipasto: A pastry filled with marinated vegetables and cheese, wrapped in French dough and brushed with olive oil. It's delicious but has a unique flavor.
- Sesame Laurel: A black sesame-filled French dough pastry filled with sliced sausage and cheese. This is my wife's favorite. I also liked it.
- Bacon Epi: A bacon-wrapped French dough pastry baked in the shape of an ear of wheat. This one was also quite delicious. We cut them into bite-sized pieces, baked them in the oven, and brushed them with olive oil. They paired perfectly with beer and wine. (^o^)v

I will go to a bakery that I was thinking of trying based on everyone's reviews. It's located inside the Sanrin Co-op and it's 10:30 am, but there are a lot of cars. The parking lot is really crowded and it's hard to find a spot. Is the economy doing well? Are people just spending money recklessly? There's a big Homac store nearby, so there must be a lot of customers from there too. It's December, so maybe everyone got their bonuses? Even inside the supermarket, it's a battle with people. As I walked in and turned left, I could see the bakery. There were some people, but not too many, so that was nice. I was interested in the baguettes, but since my wife isn't here, I'll pass on them today. I'll buy the "recommended salt bread" and of course, the "bean bread." The sandwich bread also looks really moist and delicious. I tried the "bean bread." It was indeed very moist and had lots of beans, very delicious. Some people might say it's too sweet! Next, I tried the "salt bread." It was also moist, I like this kind of moist texture. It seems like they put a lot of effort into adding butter rather than just salt. It was a delicious bread experience.

Hokkaido San Germain's freshly baked bread shop "Levbon" has stores throughout Hokkaido. They are conveniently located in shopping centers and supermarkets, making it easy to grab some bread on the way back from shopping. The Levbon I visited was inside the Coop along Route 39 (with plenty of parking available). The "Levbon Miwa Shop" in Sapporo is not close by, so I don't use it often, but when I visit my hometown of Kitami, I find it very convenient and use it frequently. My favorite breads are:
- Danish: When it's freshly baked, it's very juicy and delicious! I like peeling off the layers of Danish pastry and eating it.
- 5-color bean bread: This bread has various beans on top, exciting for bean lovers. It's coated with sweetened beans, so it's a bit sweet.
- Rich custard: This cream bread has plenty of custard cream, lightly whipped and delicious.
- Forest apple: A soft dough with custard and apples rolled in. It's a snack bread that you tear apart and eat. It has icing sugar on top, making it quite sweet, but it has a nostalgic taste.
In October 2015:
- Salt bread (86 yen): The salt bread here is light and easy to eat, with a clear saltiness and a slightly sweet dough. It feels like a snack bread.
- Hotel bread (3 pieces for 134 yen): I bought the 3-piece pack, which was fluffy and slightly sweet. I toasted it and spread blackcurrant jam on it, but butter would probably go better with it.
- Apple pie bread: I also like the apple pie from this bakery. The pie crust is crispy, the amount of apples is just right, and they are soft. There's a hint of cinnamon in it.
They have a variety of breads and you can easily grab some freshly baked ones while shopping. The prices are mostly between 100-150 yen per piece, so it's very affordable. They also have new breads each month. It's a convenient store for everyday breakfast or snacks.
