The bento has a simple seasoning with dishes like mackerel in miso sauce, tofu hamburger, and simmered vegetables. The flavors are light and easy to enjoy, especially the tasty mackerel in miso sauce. The sixteen-grain rice is also easy to eat. ▼Impressions▼ (February 2015) Prexas, once the largest franchisee of Hokka Hokka Tei, left due to a family dispute and established a new brand, Hotto Motto, which has now become a leading bento chain nationwide. In Hokkaido, most stores have been rebranded as Hotto Motto, with a total of 132 stores nationwide. This branch, opened on February 6th, features a new exterior design that is rare in Hokkaido. I tried the Balanced Bento this time, which is not my usual choice. The simple flavors of the Japanese side dishes were a pleasant change from the usual meat and fried food bentos I usually have. It was surprisingly delicious and a nice alternative to my usual choices.

"Hotto Motto" is a small restaurant in Sapporo, located near the DoCoMo shop in Sakae-machi. I visited the restaurant alone for my grandson's birthday after skiing in the morning. I decided to explore the restaurants in the area and found a few interesting ones on the way to my first stop. The staff at "Hotto Motto" recommended the seafood tempura bowl, which was served promptly. The dish was tasty, with tender squid and decent shrimp tempura. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.
