I came to buy chocolates for a party, so I stopped by at Kaldis. I found Kittens Kiss (milk & white) for 324 yen. As I looked around, I noticed cat-themed products, probably because February 22nd is approaching. I bought two cute chocolates with illustrations that look like my cat. They were from the Czech Republic and the box was shaped like a cat's tongue. It was beautifully wrapped and perfect for a gift. Unfortunately, it didn't suit my taste, maybe because it was foreign-made? Thank you for the meal.

It was a trip to Tomakomai, but I wonder when did Yome-san go to Kaldi? I didn't ask when she went, but why didn't she take any photos and what she bought were coffee beans, edamame beans, and raisin beans. Raisins aren't beans, right? Ivan is such a fool!! I have bought coffee beans at Kaldi before, after all, the store name is Kaldi Coffee Farm, so it must be delicious, right? It's definitely cheap as well. But it wasn't tasty. Cheap means not tasty, right? Since then, I haven't bought from there. However, what Yome-san bought was for herself, as she doesn't have that much of a preference. So, she bought something for herself to drink. She said it was surprisingly delicious and told me to try it, but I can't trust Yome-san when it comes to coffee, so I pretend not to know. Yome-san likes edamame beans, but she seems to think I like them. Well, I don't hate them, but I don't feel like eating them enough to buy them. Still, I tried them. There is a place for snacks, next to Yome-san's chair. I can't see it from where I sit, so when Yome-san stays up late, I go to bed first. At those times, she must be eating them. I rarely see it, but occasionally I see unknown snacks or snacks that should be there missing, and more than half of the edamame beans were gone. I thought she hadn't even opened them. Well, they go well with beer, and the saltiness is just right. She eats about two bags (they are individually packed) quickly. Raisins, I don't eat them voluntarily. I like them, but aren't they high in calories? If they are there, I can't help but reach for them, and once I start, I can't stop. Kaldi is really convenient for buying these kinds of snacks.

Wow, I can't believe these products haven't been reviewed yet! I didn't even realize you could register Caldi on Tabelog. I've bought so much from there, but I forgot to write reviews... Some recommended items from Caldi are: - Spicy shrimp soup that can be cooked with rice, making it delicious. Adding it to miso soup turns it into shrimp miso soup. - Spicy shrimp salt for only 100 yen, which is incredibly tasty. The shrimp flavor alone is great, but the extra spiciness is a bonus. - Garlic margarine that, when spread on bread and baked, quickly turns into garlic toast. Genius margarine that is so delicious despite being so cheap. - Sichuan pepper spice blend made with chili, Sichuan pepper, sea salt, and ginger. It comes in a container with a grinder, and when sprinkled on dishes like cup ramen, cup yakisoba, fried rice, fried chicken, and stir-fry, it gives them a Sichuan-style flavor. It's amazing. It's a must-try for those who love spicy food. Watching "Kaji Yarou" makes me want to go to Caldi...

I bought an iced coffee at KALDI and made it at home, it was easy to drink and delicious. They also have some interesting alcohol in the store, I want to buy it next time.

Once again, I took a stroll at Kaldi (＾◇＾). Is it busy today? I don't see the lady giving out free coffee, which is unusual. This time, I bought the following items: - Spicy noodles: Plate udon with crispy fried noodles on top, two packets of powdered sauce. The powder is bright red! Mix it with the amount of water written on the back and cook. I added ingredients like komatsuna, bean sprouts, carrots, pork, squid, shrimp, etc. The back of the package mentioned cabbage! Cabbage in a thick sauce? After stir-frying, add the soup to make a thick gravy! Then add beaten eggs to finish! The gravy is not lumpy. Easy to make (*^-^*) When I first tasted it, it was spicy! It says on the package that it contains Kagoshima black pork extract, but I can't really taste it. It's spicy! My husband was eating it eagerly next to me. It's really spicy (;'∀') My body feels so warm (#^.^#) It's easy to make, so I might buy it again. - Raw walnuts: They seem to be good for the body, but eating too much is not good for you, so I'll just have 5 pieces. Walnuts are quite high in calories (;^ω^) Since they are not roasted, the walnuts are soft. Eating too many walnuts can upset your stomach, so I eat only a small amount! There are 450g in the bag! I'm nibbling on them without getting tired of it (lol).

I bought this Yellow Curry from Kaldi out of curiosity because it was on sale. It is priced at 198 yen and can make 2 servings per pack. It is the most popular curry in Kaldi's curry category. This Yellow Curry is mild in spiciness. When you cut open the pack, liquid and thick paste come out. The color of the paste made me a bit worried about the taste. The kitchen is filled with the aroma of Yellow Curry, reminding me of Thailand. I cooked chicken and vegetables (potatoes, onions, carrots, mushrooms, bell peppers) in it. Let's see how it tastes. Surprisingly, it is more palatable than I thought. It starts off sweet but then has a spicy kick. It's not too spicy, but it warms up the body. Considering the low price, I was skeptical, but it turned out to be quite tasty. However, personally, I prefer the Green Curry from this series. It is less sweet and has a cleaner taste with a bit more spiciness. If you like Thai food, you might want to give this a try.

Kaldi, with its abundant selection of ingredients, is a place I often visit with the main purpose of going to AEON. I enjoy just wandering around the Kaldi shop, looking at various items. First of all, they offer free coffee, which is delicious. I often buy their original cream sugar, which costs around 500 yen per bag, and I have become addicted to it. I usually drink my coffee black, but I enjoy most beverages that contain coffee. I used to drink canned coffee, but now I prefer bottled or pet black coffee from Tully's or Boss. I also like instant coffee. I love drip coffee, especially when I add Kaldi's cream sugar, it tastes just like the coffee they serve in the store. I also enjoy imported cookies from the UK, France, or Australia, even though they can be a bit pricey. In particular, I love the cookies that are like cereal bars coated in chocolate, especially the ones with cranberries. One time, I found a nostalgic-looking box of curry called "Oriental Mas Curry" at Kaldi. It had no unnecessary pictures or illustrations, just a foreign child's face on the box. It caught my eye, and I bought it, but as usual, I forgot about it and left it in the cupboard. When I finally checked the expiration date, it was still okay to eat, so I decided to try it. I love curry, especially the lighter, more liquid type nowadays. I also like pairing it with Fukujin pickles. The Oriental Mas Curry I tried was on the sweeter side, with fruit chutney included in the package. It suited my taste perfectly. I recommend trying it if you like sweet curry.

Visited Ion Tomakomai in December 2015 and purchased "Gavarni/Flake Truffle Champagne" for 321 yen. It is located in the restaurant area, between Osaka Ohsho and Asama. I bought it as a snack. Since it was close to Christmas, I planned to check out the Christmas corner, but it was crowded, so I gave up and decided to get something else. Gavarni is a traditional chocolate brand from Belgium. The chocolate is in flake form with champagne inside, all covered in cocoa powder. It's a bit fragile and crumbly. I usually don't consume alcohol, but this champagne chocolate was quite rich and delicious. Although there were larger boxes available, I'm glad I chose this one as it was satisfying enough.

Coffee shops... for some reason, I always find myself stopping by because they have a lot of imported ingredients and it's fun just to look around (lol). On this day, I was looking for something specific, so I thought they might have it here. "Would you like some coffee?" I was offered a sample of coffee while I wandered around the store. I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I asked the staff, who guided me to the spices I was looking for. And then, I came face to face with coffee beans chocolate. Hehe... I love it, so I had to buy it (lol). I always hesitate to buy my favorite flavored coffee beans because I'm not confident in brewing them well, so this time I reluctantly gave up on them while glancing at them. I think I'll buy them once I study how to brew them well (lol).

This is a review of the Caldi store located on the 1st floor of Aeon Mall Tomakomai. It is a coffee bean shop, but today I bought Hakata mentaiko seaweed tempura (298 yen) to prepare for tomorrow's meals. I paid with WAON. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
